Thank you for this video and I really miss Iloilo right about now!
Yes, Iloilo City nowadays would resembles BGC if you are staying and strolling along and inside Iloilo Business Park at Megaworld located in the district of Mandurriao. If one wish to see the old Iloilo with preserved Spanish architecture type of buildings in an array, then go to the downtown area and appreciate the beauty of an old Spanish heritage. If one wish to see how clean Iloilo river is kept maintained and enjoy alongside the facade of its structured sidewalks, then go to its Esplanade and enjoy walking, strolling or even biking from one district place to the other!
ANG GANDA NG ILOILO !!!!! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️👍👋✌️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
yes malinis pati ilog at start narin ng underground cabling ng mga kuryente sa city
It truly is beautiful! Thank you for watching ✌🏼❤️🇵🇭

Wow you had known more our history than the average Filipinos.
I’m sure they know more than me about many other topics 🤔 thank you so much for watching!
🥰🥰🥰 Love how you do your vlog , National Geographic style showing all those historical sites. 👏👏👏
Glad you like them! Thank you so much for watching ❤️
The balcony where you were standing in jaro cathedral is the same balcony where Saint Pope John Paul 2, stood to crown the our Lady of Candles. Thanks for coming to iloilo.
Wow 🤩 that’s really cool that they let everybody go up there and see the same sights the Pope got to see ❤️
Wow! U are here maam. Thank u for visiting the city of love!❤️🙏👍
Thank you! We have already left Iloilo but we truly enjoyed our visit. A beautiful city!
Welcome to my hometown Iloilo City "the city of Love" @LLVT Enjoy! & have fun! 🙂❤️ It is pronounced as "halandoni" though it's start with the letter "J".. 🙂
Love it!! Thank you so much for watching ☺️
The husband of Doña Mariquit was Don Fernando Lopez. He was once the Vice President of the Philippines twice. And together with brother Eugenio founded many businesses including what is now ABS CBN. Lopez family was one of the richest families of Iloilo.
Such an entrepreneurial family indeed!
REALLY❓What about the unpaid taxes by ABS CBN❓And the questionable 45 sq. meter(❓) lot area where ABS CBN stands‼️ Please ask their Nemesis Congressman Party list Rodante Marcoleta‼️ANYARE NA, Dante, did your expose prosper or just laying lazy like Juan Tamad❓🤮🤬🥵👎🏿
@@alakdanhilario315 unpaid taxes? Where?
accdg to the old local people, the stone image located and enclosed in the glass enclosure (second floor) facing the main gate, started as a small icon and until now it keeps on growing....hope u have a keen eye examining such ststue.. it performs a lot of miracle and healing........
😮 wow!
Yes, there are many different versions of the story but all of them say that a fisherman fished the statue out of a river and he asked his son to carry it to the priest at Jaro. So if a child was able to carry it back in the day, it has truly grown crazy big. And that is the “miracle” part of the statue.
I used to be a tour guide for a museum here in San Francisco focused on meso america and I agree the one part you showed the statues does remind me of Aztecs and the Mayans. In case you didn’t know during Spanish colonization, Spain brought Mexicans to the Philippines and Filipinos to Mexico.
Wow that’s really interesting! I’m hoping we can visit the Museum of Natural History and the Ayala Museum soon. I doubt we’d be allowed to film at either of them but we will definitely share stuff on our IG and FB pages.
the warriors are not related to aztecs. in fact its the Aetas (Indigenous people) when it was sold to the datus. this was pre spanish era. but later on they incorporated it with the festival called dinagyang to honor the feast of sto. Nino. they alao shout viva senor sto nino.
But you’re right, mexicans and filipinos bond thru the galleon trade.
ilonggo here living in San Jose, California.
I have not been to Iloilo City (my birthplace) for nearly 6 years and I am amazed of her progress. Things that one tends to overlook because one (me!) is a born Ilongga. I now appreciate the city's development through someone else's point of view. Thank you for touring us through the city and show us what the city now looks like. Kudos to your two boys who have the talent of true bloggers! Best of luck to your new life in the Philippines.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts with us and our viewers 🙏🏼
I like to visit this beautiful Iloilo City someday. Thank you for this video. Take care always to all of you. praise to our God.
Thank you too! We appreciate you watching and sharing your comments 🙏🏼
Hope you meet bianca and mike from That Philippines Life vlog ( @ThatPhilippinesLife ) there in Iloilo 😊 Safe travels guys 💖🇵🇭
Unfortunately we did not have much time to do any sort of meet up. Hopefully we can plan better for our next trip 😉
Boracay is just 4hrs away from here, you can take a vacation there anytime you want if you are from iloilo and Guimaras as well. Im from metro manila and permanently resided here in iloilo because of the beaches.
It’s a very beautiful place! We love visiting Boracay as well!!
Great video!!! Very informative. Not the typical expat vlogger. It's more like being on vacation with family. You gained a new sub here! Thank you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Thank you for showing ILOILO CITY never been to the PLACE its very interesting.
It really is! We had a wonderful time, thank you for watching ☺️
Love this type of content.
I love areas which are developing because you can see the history right before your eyes. The old buildings being preserved along side of new structures always fascinates me. Unfortunately here in Las Vegas, they destroy their historic structures to build new bigger ones with no character. I am glad you are all getting to explore more of the Philippines.
I love it too! I want the boys to see as much history as they can in person instead of in books ☺️ thank you so much for watching!
@@LLVT I agree that it is important for the young to appreciate history. The old saying is, “You don’t know where you are going unless you know where you have been” is very true.
i used to love the way you vlog here.im enjoying actually....kindly make more.
Great video. My family is from Iloilo. Can’t wait to go back. Enjoy all the great food .
Awesome! Thank you so much for watching!
I'm glad you guys are enjoying my city. ❤I can't wait to be home soon. Hope you will experience the dinagyang festival. 😊
iloilo city is very calm/nice ambience/provincial feels.
It was a very good balance for sure!
Welcome to the “Queen City of Tikal” ❤
Such a beautiful place!

The fruit is called KAMUNSIL. It is a seasonal fruit during sumer. The Ilonggos really love it though it is not recognize or eaten in other parts of the country. The native chicken is also Ilonggos favorite. I personally prefer native chicken since its organic.
Thank you for visiting but there are so many places in Iloilo.
Yes, true! It rained during our last couple of days there so we didn’t get to travel as much as we had hoped. But it was a wonderful trip!
TYSM for visiting my hometown. Iloilo city, where the "old meets the present ".🌸
Our pleasure! It was a really wonderful experience for all of us ☺️
I'm truly happy you and your family have discovered my hometown. Me, my wife and my son love traveling worldwide. Having your kids on your vlog reminds me when my son was little in a stroller, and we're on top of the Eiffel Tower. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
That is awesome! We hope to be able to travel with them often and to so many places. The world is just so beautiful to see 😊
I love watching your vlog, thank you for sharing, I enjoy watching you, and your two boys,, are handsome , they are truly loving to see places “ GOD” bless always with your beautiful family
Thank you so much 🤗
My hometown!!! Can't wait to go home soon...
Cool! You eat at Tatoy’s!! Never miss that place every time I visit Iloilo
It's so good!
The most famous one is in villa beach that’s the original tatoys..
Welcome to the city where I grew up 💝 I strongly recommend the famous special Lapaz Batchoy. It’s an Ilonggo noodles soup with variety of meats, egg and chicharon. Enjoy 😊
Thanks for the recommendation! We ate some at our hotel, unfortunately it was so rainy during our visit we weren’t able to go to the La Paz Market to try it. Kasen did a reel of it on his Instagram. I’ll try to post it as a short here on YT soon. Thank you for watching!
10 hour brown out today..Molo Iloilo.. beautiful
Oh wow! We’ve only experienced a brown out very briefly. Thank you so much for watching ☺️
Born and raised in Iloilo City here . But left 19 yrs ago . Enjoy our City of love .🤸♀

Iloilo city is discipline and beautiful city than Cebu city.
We still haven’t been to Cebu City, but we certainly did enjoy Iloilo 😎
Appreciate you guys visited my home Province 🇵🇭🇺🇸❤
✌🏼❤️🇵🇭
I’m a blk man, 44yrs old, single, no kids, in Las Vegas receiving 100% VA ($3,737.85/ month). Got my passport last week and my 10-year clock has started. 1st stop is CEBU Aug 1st 2024. Wish me luck.
I am really loving the outros! The candidness of kuya and bunso are so fun to watch! 😊
Yay, thank you! The boys appreciate getting the chance to share their silly sides too ☺️
I suggest the lady reads "the Jesuits creed" which is what ALL Jesuits MUST declare as an oath ......and she might have a different attitude towards those churches. There is a huge reason why the province of Iloilo is about 90% protestant (mostly Baptist)
Very 👌yeah we also have General Luna street in Baguio, wow fun fact 👍
He was quite a character! I enjoyed learning about him during our car ride ☺️
wow.. you guys actually came here
Yes! It was a wonderful trip for our family, thank you for watching ❤️
Kuya reading KGG. It is an abbreviation like Mr. for Mister. KGG for kagalang-galang which means honorable in English. Kagalang-galang Mario Cuartero = Honorable Mario Cuartero.
Wow! Thank you for sharing, I figured it was a title of some sort but we weren’t entirely sure.
You may want to go to Guimaras Island, just a few minutes away by boat👍
We did! It was an incredible experience as well, we also vlogged about it.

You come to dumaguete city.. cool place and great place to live in 👌🇵🇭
Maybe one day! Definitely on our list to visit 😊
Native chickens are among the expensive menue in the restaurants but if you go to the far barrios you will be served with native chickens and most often people out of their hospitality and generosity will give you live native chicken as brought home or pasalubong haha.
That sounds like a very interesting pasalubong 😂
Hello ❤ you look prettier these days and looking relaxed. Love ur videos
Thank you so much!
back in the days they also have their own conveniences which is different from today.
Missing home Iloilo, watching from Oceania, new subscriber.
Thanks for subbing!
Your two boys are so adorable and pogi ❤️
❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much 😊
I hope you're having so much fun in the Philippines. I literally love your vlogs. I hope that someday you'll get to visit more places with your family I would suggest Bohol, Cebu, Siquijor and the rest of the visayas for they are rich in culture and fantastic in nature. Mindanao is also what I call the hidden gem of the country, for they have a rich culture most of them are untouched from the influence of colonizers making it show the culture of Filipinos way hundreds of years back then, they are also very diverse. Plus, they have fantastic nature and one of which even gained a unesco heritage status. Anyway wherever you go in this country I hope you'll have fun because Philippines has so much to offer.
Thank you so much for watching! We’ve done a couple of videos from a previous visit to Bohol but we still haven’t been to Cebu or Siquijor. We’ve definitely got a long list of places we still need to see ☺️
Hoping you are doing well mentally. Enjoy your time in Philippines. It's very lay back. United States is not the place to be right now. It's crazy here to much violence and very expensive. People are not very friendly here as you already. GGG, Give God Glory
Thank you so much! I’ve been doing great and feeling much more motivated to work on other projects as well. Salamat and ingat po!
