Does your car or truck feel like it's skipping a beat, like something is off but you can't be sure, because there are no lights or codes? Great video! I was thinking of getting a spark tester for myself! However,in case we forgot a fender cover, if we wore a belt, the buckle had to be worn on one side or the other to avoid scratching someone’s fender.

    Great video… 👍
On a misfiring shaking engine, I always try the cheapest quickest fixes first… spark plugs, then coils… as you said, keep it simple! 👍🙏

Just saw a case study on this x2. Same exact thing, After looking on the labscope, see the crank position sensor was wonky waveform. 2 Aftermarket crank position sensors no change... New OEM crank position sensor MINT with the waveform reversed mirror copy, like polarity reversed.

Where do you get the little tool that you plug the spark plugs into and watch the spark?

I’ve been having similar episodes. Not often, but loss of most power temporarily ! It’s been a few years since spark plugs were replaced. ----But my exhaust is very toxic to be by the tailpipe - is this related ??

Clean it with a sand blaster and put it back in. It is the carbon on the plug causing the misfire.

Can a bad spark plug cause a car to not turn over or start? 2001 Buick leSabre custom, i just installed a new started (starter has been tested and is good), installed new battery (again, tested battery), engine is not locked up the crank shaft eill turn. I cannot get the car to start and im not a licensed mechanic but i love working on cars but have learned from trial and error. Fuses seem to be good, all dash lights come on and fuel pump is engaging. Im at my whits end. Please help me!!!!!

Mine would hesitate if I touched the brake when the engine was half way to running temp, the plugs were VERY worn, problem solved.
