- It has often been the case for the earliest of fighting games that for their debut title, at least one female character is featured as part of the roster, if not more. For Mortal Kombat, Sonya was that character. The "first lady" of Mortal Kombat, Sonya is a regular character in the games and is popular both within the Mortal Kombat fandom and in general because of how iconic she is. Some of her wins, are due to her opponents not really giving a shit about fighting her. However, her skills are exceptional, especially considering that Quan Chi wanted her as part of his revenant army. And he is not taking just anybody on his squad.

Literally hours before the video I looked up history about her to see how she survives fighting all of them. I have no answer still.
Sonya Blade's arc as present and resolved in Mortal Kombat X was very pleasant. It was Trisha Helfer that brought this role to life and seeing Sonya Blade be killed in the first chapter and Mortal Kombat 11 alongside her being portrayed by the rather mediocre performance by Ronda Rousey, I think we really did deserve a more reserved sendoff for this character before MK12's potential rebooted plot.

Sonya Blade is my least favorite of the heroes, fitting that her arch nemesis would be the Hate Sink of the franchise.
Her attitude is insufferable, and while it may make her a good commander, it certainly makes her unlikable.
Contevent her bitch attitude is what makes many people like her

This game to me is out there. Stories are so far fetched it is ridiculous. Like watching a Thor movie. So and so dies next scene brought back. Yeah not my cup of tea, the story, but the games are always good.
