Ive purchased hundreds of dollars of product from DIY. You guys work hard and your instructional videos are outstanding. Keep up the great content!
Thank you.
See u in Chicago👏
Finally a video on how to easily prep a vehicle before correction and coating. Thank you!
Thanks for watching
Awesome video as always! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the visit
DIY Detail is worth it over any competitor
Thank you.
I love hot water Rinseless washes. Very satisfying especially when it’s a bit chilly. Also the warm water helps break down the dirt a little better in my opinion.
True
Great Video Ryan and Yvan 💪💪.
Appreciate it!
Thanks!
Beautiful car! Nice job!
Thank you
What a cool car and I bet the exhaust sounds like music to the ears. The decontamination process takes some love as I can polish a car quicker than the decontamination wash. I cannot wait to see the polish and coating video!
It sounds great, here’s the following video

Looks great. Great part is to get Rinseless for lubrication and Iron remover.
It sure is!
Im in Newark, DE also. I’ll have to check him out when I need to re up on products!
Excellent
Music is soooooooo soooothhhinngggg.. Makes me want to DIY Coat the entire neighborhood of cars. Maybe Yvan will come to my town and make a video of that! Drinks on me! I’m getting a hot water bib in my garage too, can’t wait!
Excellent
Love watching you guys. Me and my buddy are starting a mobile detailing business and so far I love your guys products. Do you have any tips or tricks?
Concentrate on customer service

@@diydetailofficial just curious which one of you two runs the UA-cam channel?
@@nou4956I think they technically both do, but the majority of the time it’s Yvan responding to the comments
Nice car! Great video! Could you clean car as you both did then polish and coat it the next day? Any issues with that if garage kept?
none at all! If there's dust that's accumulated before polish, just do a quick wipe down with Rinseless Wash first. if you're waiting until the next day to coat, make sure to do Panel Prep wipe before you coat
I'll be by next week to pick product from Ryan since he's local.
Excellent
Are c6 APP and hydro lite going to be picked up by the diy distributors like detailed image, or is that a whole separate process to get c6 stuff on distributor sites?
Yes , it’s available to them
BTW is the IK the sprayer or the foam version ? Which is better for applying Rinseless? TIA 😊
Sprayer for Rinseless
Welp... now I know what to do with my Challenger, though if I wanted to use All Clean in my foam cannon would that be alright? My go to for pre wash foams in Autoglyms Polar Blast, their dilution ratio is 5:1.
Thank you.
Yvan, new to this rinseless method. Can you do a video showing close-ups (or even photos if that's not feasible) of you wiping over the panels. Showing how much water is on the panel after the spray, after you've wiped over with the sponge? And the demonstrating how much water is too much or too little. Or maybe I'm overthinking this. Cheers
You’re over thinking it
@@victormorales2876hahaha thanks
We have many videos on DIY Detail Rinseless Wash
Hi Yvan,
I have a question about Rinseless Wash. I know it cleans, and I find the application very versatile. But I have noticed one thing: Here in Norway, where I live, there is often a very dark, almost black, static traffic film on the car. If I use APC, this type of traffic film is significantly reduced.
If I pre-wash with Rinseless Wash, this film is lifted up to a certain extent, but not removed in the same way as with APC. If I pre-wash with Rinseless and gently slide my finger over it, the black disappears immediately. However, I still like this black traffic film to be removed before I touch the paint with the sponge.
So: Do you think it is oil-based dirt on the car in this case? And if so, should I use APC instead of Rinseless Wash to remove this type of dirt?
DIY Detail All Clean would be a better choice
Looking to get a soft bristle broom/brush for quicker washes during the spring (Pollen season). Is this a bad idea? Or can a broom help speed up the process?
Use Rinseless Wash with the legacy sponge
@@diydetailofficial thats what I normally do! Looking to use broom for quicker wash instead of sponge
A flag tipped nylon brush will work
Why is it you use rinses wash to prep pads for polishing? Would just water be okay for damping the pad before polishing?
We also use it to keep the pads clean
Was the iron remover diluted when used on this car? If so, what was the dilution ratio?
No dilution
What if you know the vehicle has a sealant or wax on it? You don’t use a higher PH soap/strip wash? Just let the polishing remove it ?
Chemicals rarely remove sealants completely
@@diydetailofficial gotcha thanks
which IK foam tip did Ryan use? orange, grey, or green?
He will be chiming in soon
The standard one that came in the unit.
@@ryanl8653 awesome, thanks!
Got my APP polish. The cap was busted open. Need to do better sealing for delivery
Please send an email to info@diydetail.com
What if you can’t go over the whole car with iron remover/clay towel before rinsing? Rinsing panel by panel seems like that would present too much water on the adjacent panel and dilute the iron remover too much.
If it dries on the surface it will still rinse away clean
@@diydetailofficialstill probably not a good idea to let it dry if working outdoors?
Ideally, no
Hi Yvan, was watching another channel yesterday and they mentioned that after using panel prep (before coating) the coating instructions states to wash your car again with a degreaser such as dishwashing liquid to guarantee removal of polishing oils etc. This is a well known brand. Have you heard of such a thing? Thanks
Yes, if you’re polish is heavy in solvents and oils a degreasing step is needed. This was also a popular step years ago when polishing created dust. With The Gold Standard Polishing System there’s no need to add a time wasting step. Also washing again means you risk having water in crevices.
@@diydetailofficialthanks for the the reply. I use the GSP and your panel prep, so all good. Applied the 3 year coating to my sons car on Saturday. He hasn't stopped talking about how shiny it is. He also said he leant against it and almost slid off lol
Thank you.
Waterspot or Iron remover first?
Iron
Only thing I disliked about my Challenger are all the places where water accumulates when washing, especially the trunk lid/tail light area. After opening the trunk and drying everything, I'd have to set towels over the tail light area and set the lid down on them and let it sit for a while.
Agreed
It took a good 4 hours of opening and closing the trunk, for the water to stop dripping out! It sucked!
Why no All Clean on windows?
No need
If you are new to detailing, I have a couple of thoughts. First of all, all painted surfaces need to be cleaned, which would include Hood & trunk areas & door jams. These areas need to be protective. Also, when using chemicals, always wear protective gloves...
Great tips
"quite a big job just to be put away" lol love to passive aggressiveness haha
Cars are to be driven in my world.
This customer has a trackhawk and TRX for daily drivers!
Patiently watching to see if they wash the red dots of the tires.
Not this time
I did end up taking the wheels off. To prep and coat. Yes the dots were removed.
Ready and again with Ryan L
Thank you.
I wonder if this guy can afford this detail job.
Yes
Getting a car like this not to drive it just tragic
Agreed
