I celebratede Holi in Kolkata this time. I had a great time and met amazing people but there was a moment with a couple of speed bumps in the road. Not quite sure what to make of it but nonetheless it was a fun Holi at the end of the day. To be clear i ended up in a place called Sonagachi by mistake which is Asia's biggest red light district.

After reading the comments I have realised I walked into Sonagachi aka Asia's biggest red light area. This place was a 5 minute walk from college street, I thought maybe students would be celebrating but instead I got a whole other package 😂

Volpe I'm gonna invite you in advance.. next time you come to India come to agra . every year me and my joint family go to our village Bateshwar (77km from agra ). which is famous for its Shiva temples and breathtaking sceneries around.. It's my belief you'll witness a different sort of Holi like never before. A joint family of 25-30 people with some relatives of the city along with some villagers and the mighty calmness of the moon during the full moon night (which is just one day before Holi and the Holi day ) is a must to experience. Because it's all sort of very different from the city in a much much better way. Our ancestral house is there and we sing folk songs on that day after playing Holi .So inshort you'll remember it for life. We go there a day before Holi cause we live here in agra in civil lines itself in a joint family
