Thanks man, you saved my watch. Two shops refused to replace battery as they had no clue how to open it =) I wish good luck to your channel and like of course
Does all digital/analogue watches have two batteries? I have a Chinese digital/analogue watch where when you replace the 2016 battery the digital display comes up and shows the time, but the analogue past remains dead. The watch has never been opened, or immersed in water until both displays have gone dead, and I replaced the 2016 battery. The interior looks like your watch, is there another battery driving the analog part of the watch? The watch is "unbranded", but I paid $30 US for it. Can you help me?
Got one of these because it looks cool. Replacing the batteries brought me here. Thanks. Question, when I try to reset the digital time, none of the buttons do anything. Please help?
Thanks mate you just saved me a lot of hassles n money on paying the unqualified and expensive local french watch repairers here where i live that would be a €20-30 fix!!! Ive stripped out the batts tonite will buy new in morning thanks for the good instructions
Thank you I knew I could do it myself I just had to have a little help getting started. I have quite a few of these watches and I've had good luck with every one of them.
Nice demonstration on replacing the two batteries for this watch. Now my question is once you swap out the cells and reassemble the various plates , cover and band after tightening all the screws down. Would you still be able to use this watch under water at the depth ATM level that it is rated at? Inquiring minds want know.
That is an excellent question Maxoman427. This is the China made unbranded watch. We have never tested the water resistance level of it. However, normally if the process of replacement of the batteries are done right that should not affect the water resistance of the watch. However, in certain situations if there is a real concern the extra silicone may be applied to the gasket before putting the back of the watch together. Sincerely, TBTwatches Management
Sir please tell my watch is not showing time but hour and .minute hand ( ( spicule)is working so it's a case of battery low or another problem happens plz telll
For the analog past: battery is 377/626 (interchangeable numbers) For the digital part is CR2025. Thank you for your question. Sincererely, TBTwatches Management
He actually fitted a 364/SR621SW silver oxide and CR2025 lithium , a 377/SR626SW is the same diameter as the 364 but is thicker so it would stand to high if fitted.
The most important part - how to loosen the stud from the bracelet without damaging it - is not seen properly because the focus is out of the picture. Why you do not check something like this when uploading a video? And why you do repair the watch with the original label on it? This paper label is always in the field of view. And what are the numbers of the batteries? Which cells you have replaced???? By the way, you could have also named the battery types at the same time: The large main battery for the digital display is a Maxwell CR 2016, 3V and for the analogue clock is a SR 626 SW, 1.55V battery.
The problem @ digital/analog watches is that after replacement of the digital platine unit, the LED light for the digital view is not working anymore, I do not find any failure. May anyone knows the problem and how to fix the issue?
@@ignacastro there are 2 small carbon rubbers around the platine, it seems that I lost it during exchanging the batteries, the problem is that I cannot find replacement rubbers, it seems that they must be conductive but I am not sure, the rubbers are necessary that the led background light works
you need to ac recharge the battery unfortunately there is no markings to indicate the ac recharge. im facing the same problem. the led failed to light up.

Grounding with tweezers?
I never heard you mention the battery sizes? Both the larger and the smaller batteries. That would have been very helpful.
