OMG must have taken forever to make this video. I cannot begin to tell you how much this helped me. I'm teaching myself watch battery replacement and removing links, slowing buying tools even one that pops the back on. Got tired of paying a jeweler-I have so many watches.
Thanks so much for showing the "tiny details" that make the job possible, like how to gently push the retaining arms around without fear. Was able to do an Epson ladies watch with a SR626SW battery, no problems.
Noticed the Miyota 2035-2115’s are some of the most replayed sections. I assume the Seiko VH63 and VK63 are really popular too. Some of my favorite quartz movements. 👌🏼
Good job SolimBD. You helped me with Seiko Hattori VD53B. Replacing a battery is the most important part, however you don't mention short circuiting AC and + battery pole after installing new battery as recommended by movement manufacturer. Thanks.
Thank you. There is a Machine at 20:10. Its mechanism is small. I want to know how to remove the shaft to remove the machine. I don't know where to click
locate the tiny stem release lever on the movement, gently press it down with a specialized tool while simultaneously pulling the crown and stem straight out.
Fantastic learning video. Kindly if possible do also upload videos of opening and closing of backcovers of different types of cases/watches. Since your watch handling is the most perfect as per my own observation and a delight to watch
Since you handle Renata batteries n such large numbers just wanted to ask are Renata batteries leakage prone and also are their fake Renata batteries in markets.
Normally if Your watch is being stop for long time then any battery will be leakage. But it happens most for the Renata battery. So it’s better to replace the battery quickly after stop. And hmm you Will get also fake renata battery in the market.
Have you ever removed a battery from a nomination watch. if you would like to see a photo tell me how to share it with you on here, please help. thank you
I know there's a reason but why do you even use those big fat tweezers when the pointy ones are in your hand? They seem so out of place and clumsy. Jus' sayin'. Watching you do these helps me though because I am clumsy and have done it wrong many times.

Thank you. Nowhere else was it made clear that side-braced batteries need to be pressed against the brace in order to be removed.
