My first thought was wow, cheaper than what I was expecting. I was expecting it to be $349 USD.
It’s disappointing about the stickers given that the Saturn V was sticker free. I’ve not had much luck with the quality of Lego stickers recently.
May I ask which sets' sticker sheets did you have a problem with? I also had a faulty one for the new McLaren F1 speed champions car, and even the replacement they sent had issues.
Spaceshuttle inner stickers "shudders"
The worst stickers I ever encountered since collecting LEGO again as an adult were the ones in the Speed Racer (the movie) sets that came out in 2008. They were the plasticky ones that fractured and flaked off not long after applying them to the parts.
Printing bricks is great but they *must be in register* and not printed off-of square to the parts. WAY too many of my recent Speed Champions parts are not printed squarely and the parts are just ruined.
Im so excited for this set. My friends and I were there for the first launch of the Artemis SLS so this is a must for me
"And we're back in the bunker" 🤣 - Low-key appreciate Jang's commentary on Lego's marketing. One of the best to ever do it!!
Came for the lego set, stayed for Jang ranting about bunker interiors
3:55 all the umbilicals retract together!
I would love different ships like this. This is finished really nicely and the addition of the tower is surprising considering how much budget goes into it
I Would like to see the original space shuttle set like this one
There actually is one of space shuttle discovery and the hubble space telescope for $200.00 USD, but it's just the shuttle and the telescope. No boosters or tank or anything. It's still a gorgeous set tho, it's one of my favorites that I own.
I like it. I just don’t know where it would go.
I got a space next to my space shuttle and galaxy explorer…
To the Moon? :)
Space, the final frontier
This looks great!
I really wish LEGO had put out an Apollo Command Module to go with the Lunar Lander of some years back.
*looks at my wallet*
You're going to have to take another one for the team.
Dang! They already rebuilt ‘The Bunker’ after the last video! Deeper and more powerful than the previous bunker!!
Would have rather had either a scaled to Saturn V rocket without the MLP for the current price or a Saturn V scaled SLS and MLP for 400-500 then yet another different scaled Space set. Still a day 1 purchase ESPECIALLY because of the incorrect sticker for Orion.
Can you elaborate on the incorrect sticker?
yeah, the scale is really throwing me through a loop with this one. Still a nice set, I just would've preferred the model to scale with the Saturn V
Great review! Keep up the good work Jang
Definitely a 50/50 for me
Like, on one hand its a pretty nice looking model, looks like good value, actually includes a nice looking MLP, can come apart, and of course it pertains to a rocket that I'm interested in.
On the other hand the model is scaled down signicantly (1:160) from the (1:110) Saturn V of 2020 (which I understand why, but its a personal gripe for display). The scale also disrupts some of the accuracy, specifically the LVSA and ICPS area. The info sheet says "Time to orbit: 3 minutes, 40 seconds" and I truthfully don't know what that is referring to, so I don't know if its wrong or not. There's also a lot of stickers too.
Looking forward to this one!
Hope Lego produce a starship set when spacex officially succeeded.
Love a gray bunker looks epic quite tall great preview jang 👍
Great display piece
Can’t wait for this!
I love all LEGO NASA sets!! I built a Launch Tower for the Saturn V set, and it is very large. This looks like about half that scale. I'm excited for the abundance of the orange curved slopes to make other fuel tanks for larger scale versions.
I love the preview thoughts videos Jang.
The best in the business! Thanks for your detail and analysis in all your videos!
You are too kind! Thank you so much for your support!
Haven't bought a set on release in quite some time, but this I will be getting. Looks great. Wish it wasn't as many stickers but it's more than acceptable for me. Can't wait!
This set looks great.
That's a really nice rendition of the Artemis Space Launch System. The tower is really good and elaborate looking too.
I look forward to your review, JANG!
Would be nice if it was the same scale as the Saturn V, I'd pay the extra foe that
This looks incredible. Looking forward to your review! But also, GWP debacle? What happened??
Like the Saturn V was amazing. I can't wait for what this has in store
This is the video I was looking for.
Love this. I don’t have any space for it myself but for the price value it’s a great set
Can’t wait 🙌🏽
I like this thing a lot. Definitely gonna pick it up, probably day one
Love this set. It looks so clean and with the base it is fantastic. I also hope the sticker colors will not be as obvious but I won't hold my breath.
Lighting that set up well be so awesome
It looks fantastic and it’s huge and the price is low.
But I’ve learnt not to get FOMO and I reckon this will be on sale quite quickly. So I’ll try and pick it up when it’s more like £150 later in the year.
I’d like to get this and the Milky Way set for £300 or less
I love this set
Looking forward to this
Great price also
I'm exited this set is fantastique
this is set of the year in my opinion
A "Must-Have" for Space-Nerds (like me), astonishingly reasonably priced. Unfortunately with "Stickers-on-white" (which always goes wrong) and not in 1:110 Scale ...
I did not know, that the "Beehive" is available in Pearl Dark Gray ... This will be a nice H1-Engine for my Saturn 1B!
I have the Saturn 5 and I'm happy with that.
Not really my thing to build, but doesn't matter: What a fantastic set! Definitely will watch your content featuring it.
Well I know what I’m getting for Christmas this year
I wish this had a version without the tower at the ~$120 pricepoint like the Saturn V. As it is, this is outside of my budget.
It looks like it is possible to put axles on the bottom and add connectors for tug or pull
I'm wondering if somebody out there will get a couple of these sets and build a MOC of that cool spaceship from the movie, The Black Hole!
That wall behind the drapes is even more nasty definitely doesn’t look overpriced for American but Canada definitely needs a sale
The Canadian price is $10 USD or more than $13 CAD *lower* than the US price, and most of us pay sales taxes down here too just like y'all.
I want this so bad
Pity that the cross braces in the tower don't actually attach the level above them.
Other than that beautiful, I'll certainly consider this one.
I guess I'd have to build an Ariane myself if I want one in lego XD
They need to show us the Jaws set!
If it was available on the free market it could drop to 199 or lower which would make it affordable to more people. The set looks nice. So far the "Year of Space" looks promising at least with the CMF´s coming next week and the more "made to play" oriented city space line. It´s not the 80s and 90s but it´s a step in the right direction.
I wonder if they missed an opportunity by not including the crawler under the launch pad. The downside, of course, is that it would make the set even more expensive. What does everyone think?
Small confession... I actually like the "bunker", Jang.
Man, those white stickers look ROUGH. I really hope the color matching isn't that bad when the set is released.
I want this, but no idea when I will be able to buy it
My only gripe is that the boosters and raceway (i.e propellant feedlines running up the side of the core stage) look a little short compared to the real thing.
Take my money already!
As soon as I saw the bunker I knew Jang would call it out! 😂 However I don’t get why we don’t get all prints for a $260 18+ set. It’s a bit disappointing.
My wallet is crying out in fear. I have the Saturn V, Lunar Lander, ISS, Discovery Shuttle, and Perseverance Rover already. The Artemis Space Launch System would look incredible as part of the set.
Looks like a great set but I am running out of room for tall sets.
I'm not sure, but I think I found two mistakes on the big sticker.
It says "98 meter" instead of "98 meters" and lists "Time to orbit" as "3 minutes, 40 seconds". I can not find that number anywhere, but some websites say 8 or 8 and a half minutes, including the Wikipedia article of Artemis 1 and an official fact sheet.
This is an awesome build! Does anyone know when this is due to come out UK?
Looks great! I love space stuff and the Saturn V set is one of my favorites. So I'll probably get this one as well. But why, oh why, does LEGO keep using these cheap stickers on their expensive premium sets? They don't always do it either. The Saturn V set had zero stickers even though it had many labels and other decorations - all prints.
Are you going to do a reaction to the new Dreamzzz wave? :)
Upset with Lego SpaceX Falcon 9 and Heavy has gone way more times than the SLS which has only gone once. I live on the Space Coast of Florida and the kids and teens know Space X more than the SLS. I really think SpaceX should have gone out first.
Looks like a compatible scale for Lego city.
my only concern is where to put it. I’d just rearranged my storage to have a ‘NASA’ section with discovery and Saturn V bu this won’t fit without more rework. Still day 1 though!
This kinda looks like better value than the milky way frame even though it's more expensive, yeah. 👍
Looking forward to the review. A color mismatch between stickers and plastic would be unfortunate, though, it feels like something lego should be able to get right and a lame thing to hold this set back if they don't.
Not gonna lie. I couldn't justfy $500 for Rivendell or $400 for Lion Knights, but I could actually see myself getting this.
$260 for 3600 pieces and a sizeable build that looks great and detailed? I might be skipping May 4 promos and get this instead
Amazing price in USD
I know it'd never happen but I'd love a Soviet rocket with part of the baikonur cosmodrome attached.
Thanks, Jang, for bringing the Artemis launch system to my attention. I'll definitely be purchasing this kit. To add to my NASA collection. It looks like a great kit. Thanks again.

If I had the unlimited money glitch I would definitely go for this. Really cool looking and even seems like a good price.
I just can’t get over the size of the white fairing area at the top. It is too long. I understand that that was added to allow the Orion space craft to fit inside of it but considering how the Orion looks like I would have preferred a better and more scaled Orion that could be displayed separately. Similarly to the way the Saturn V had to have the command module replaced by a white piece for the escape tower. I like Lego space sets and I’ve always wanted an Artemis set but these problems plus the price I sadly won’t be buying this one.
Do we know if it is in the same scale as the Saturn V?
Do the VIP Points divided by 10 tell, what the set should cost in reality?
Ok, yes it's not the same scale as the Saturn V. That's unfortunate, but $260 for the rocket and a VERY nice launch tower? It's hard to be upset about that
Its $449 aud so 400CAD or $293 usd for us.
This set definitely puts "super" in "super expensive"
I keep flipping back and forth on whether I like this or not. At first I thought it looked like it would be super expensive. Then I thought it looked like a good price. Then I saw pictures and realised the rocket is much smaller than I expected. Then looking again the tower and base add a lot of visual weight and value. But then the tower and base don't look that interesting to build or display to me. I'm really unsure on it in a way that is unusual for me and LEGO.
Its not adult enough scale. Its 1:160 not 1:110 as the Saturn V
Another space set. Time to open up the wallet again... 😎
Looks good. But too many stickers. My Apollo Saturn V has NONE!
Not 1:110 as the Saturn V so kinda useless 😢
I need it but I’m broke
Knowing May 4th is coming soon, my bank account was already crying. Then this thing leaked.
the stickers are kind of a dealbreaker for me unfortunately, otherwise this set looks awesome. I wish it was 100% prints like the saturn V, that would be an instant buy pretty much
this is going right next to my saturn v
It will look dwarfed 😊
£220???? I want it so BAD!!! I could but it but I don't think I should...
The build looks pretty cool, but there are *SO* many stickers, and the whites don't even match. Even if I could get it, I would really hesitate to put all those stickers on. There's so many that some of them aren't even straight in the promotional photos! My first impression is that it's a great build ruined by awful stickers.
Looks great esp with the price... But the stickers in white...and the sticker plaque...grml
Double the price of the Saturn 5. Way too expensive. It doesn't have to be always more and more and more
My wallet tells me *no.*
But my body, my body tells me *YES!*
Not one of Boeings most illustrious projects
Artemis program launched only one, unmanned rocket so far.
Why not [super classical] Apollo program, instead?
Funny set...
They released the Saturn V (larger scale than this) twice & had it available for quite a long time.
@@JANGBRiCKS LEGO Saturn V needs serious updates, in my opinion. it was +14 set, so...
I am actually building the real Orion.
Definitely the build from LEGO are quality and the pieces. But man stickers that don’t have the exact same color as the piece really does ruin a set imo. Especially when the set is $200+.
It's quite impressive to say the least! Not for me really.
Looks nice overall, but stickers ew, too expensive, and regardless I am collecting too many themes already and have been skipping Nasa sets. I don't have unlimited money for Lego.
