    Thanks for your speech today in Amsterdam Eric! Yours was absolutely amazing. Most of the speakers were complete airheads in my opinion and delivered no value at the event whatsoever. They just did a sales pitch for their own service and you did it completely the other way around. So much value given and your sales pitch was minimum. It was a real pleasure listening to you.

    Indeed, every thought we have is either a framing of new information coming in or a re-framing of old information to make better sense of our reality. This talk makes that idea more accessible and therefore actionable for the audience. Appreciated.

Love this video by the way! Funniest thing, I watched it and then I saw a white van man doing a rediculous manouvre at the traffec lights right after. I was smiling so wide, you can imagion :D

You have inspired me to LEARN HOW to get the word out somehow, as I continue learning to read, that I WILL be able to sell my website name only, bodypacifc.com, which I purchased five-plus years ago through GoDaddy. THANK YOU for inspiring me!!!!!

  • @margaretnahmias8687
    @margaretnahmias8687 6 років тому +2

    I actually disagree. the present is what you have most control over and will affect the future. We can look back and reinterpret the past, but we cannot change what happened in the past.

    • @EricEdmeades
      @EricEdmeades 5 років тому +9

      Hi Margaret, it is all about perspective.
      And, I am not suggesting that you can change the past but, rather, that you can change your perspective on the past. I am sure that, at least once, you have had something happen in your life that felt really bad *at the time* but that turned out, later, to be a gift. That is not changing what happened; that is seeing it differently.
      I am sorry if that was not clear in the presentation; 18 minutes is a tight time-frame for a talk like that. :-)

    He should forget the jokes he’s not funny!

    • @elizabethh776
      @elizabethh776 4 роки тому

      I agree. Not sure he wasn't funny, I just jumped forward in the video to the important parts, why I'm watching this. I just started to wonder if he's actually a comedian and was just trying to attract people with his saying he can be a motivational speaker then everyone comes around to listen to his comedy. Then I watched the rest and it got better. I say he should just cut out the comedy and stick with motivational speaking and teaching like he did towards the end. That would've made the video shorter.
