Dude, a lot of people are going to disagree. Yezus album shaped hiphop. It was more innovative than MBTDF. It birthed a new sound in hiphop. That makes it a CLASSIC and a work of ART. It’s not even music. It’s Art!

I disagree with TLOP take, one of my favorite kanye albums, also kids see ghost was one of the most well done albums of his career, but yea, i do miss the old kanye

People would rather hear the same song on repeat with the same message rather than let an artist experiment! Kids see Ghosts and ye are fantastic albums TLOP and Jesus is King are supposed to be what they are which are Gospel albums and they both execute it perfectly. Donda and Yeezus go into different genres of music almost like so many of his other albums so of course they are gonna be different. Watch the Throne was just great to have an album with 2 legends on it just killing the game.
@@semvanwell4797 Right now it just seems that people that like the old stuff (the first 5 albums which are all fantastic as well: The College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, 808s, MBDTF) don't like the era and style with mumble rap and hard bass beats right now which will change and develop as time goes on.

I think old fans are just leaving and he is finding a spot for either the dedicated fans to stay after being through all of it or for the dedicated people AND new fans to emerge which will start a new chapter in his music catalog!
Ugh so true. For me the last great album was Yeezus. TLOP had too many updates and I just couldn’t get with the stuff I wasn’t here out in clubs. Wishing him the best though. He definitely not going back the way we met him 😢
Bruh.. I feel sorry for people who didn't get a chance to experience 2007- 2010 Kanye!! Man kanye was EVERYWHERE!!! U couldn't go any where without hearing kanye. I feel like kanye was in his prime during those years.. now he's.. ehh idk lol
Honestly I’d say he has something great with most of his albums and his last good album was Donda. Yeah it was definitely too long but it’s got a lot of solid tracks, production and performances. After that though it’s been completely off the deep end Vultures 1 and 2 don’t even sound like they’re from the same artist. The production is so rough and choppy and it’s easily some of the weakest music he’s ever made lyrically next to Jesus is King.

But I love the sound of Yeezus, New slaves, Hold my Liquor, guilt trip blood in the leaves, black skin head and I am a god are amazing in my opinion. I do love his old work as well and most of the more modern (except 2023/4)

It’s a party of why I like his music so much, Yeezus doesn’t sound like MBDTF, MBDTF doesn’t sound like 808s or graduation and so on. It’s a different experience for each album. I think the worst change he did was in 2019 with the Jesus and religious stuff. Everything started sounding the same and all lyrics had the same theme over and over again with no chanfe

Watch the Throne was the time he gave fans something good to great...that 2018 G.O.O.D Friday albums run had good music..DAYTONA was a classic, KTSE had some soulful sample cuts, KIDS SEE GHOSTS was ayt ,ye & Nasir pure TRASH...Stick with Pusha (Diet Coke, Just So You Remember are great cuts in recent memory)

I somewhat agree with TLOP but Yeezus is one of his best albums imo, I love all of the stuff before too but I don’t think Yeezus is a drop in quality
