I wasn’t a die hard fan but I use to watch it over my cousins house and played the WWE video games. In the game I always played Stacey Keibler but when it came to the show my cousins and I liked The Undertaker(ofc), John Cena, Hulk, and Booker T. Docs like these just reminds me how society back then were so blind and yet accepting of anything as long as it made money. And the fact that throughout the whole interview Vince took little, if any, accountability for how he treated his family and business doings. Him justifying that storyline he came up with about him getting his daughter pregnant was disgusting. He needs to do life in jail period. Again, Netflix brings us another great doc that shows us the good, the bad, and the reallll ugly. The American Gladiators doc was another good one too

I think this argument is shallow and lacks depth. If anything the internet has only made music better for we can now access any recorded music from any decade at a whim. We can also easily discover new and old artists. If it wasn't for UA-cam alone I wouldn't even know half the artists and albums that I listen to. Besides you also got other platforms like Soundcloud (great for DJs to upload mixes of their sets) and bandcamp (cutting out the middleman to allow bands and artists to directly sell LPs and merch via the internet). Vinyl has also resurged in popularity partly due to the internet. Spotify is it's own beast, sure, but the internet itself has allowed so many artists and bands to connect with audiences without the need of record labels or even leaving their own bedroom. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

I’m around the same age and I can totally relate on the nostalgia physical music copies gave. I loveeee convenience of streaming but it so does feel over saturated at times. I’ve always wanted to create my own album and not just stream it. I visualize it as physical copy. I loved mtv vh1 and bet 18 years ago and Sabrina carpenters new album haha.

Streaming + the Internet has ruined music to the point where people aren't bothered to watch music videos anymore, even when music videos can better convey the artist's message. Likely because (speaking on rap), most music videos aren't artistic and substance-based. People don't care even when there are 3 or more music videos for the album.

SO, there is a ctually a difference between the Trilogy version and the OG version of HoB... both of them are on Spotify but I didn't know that there is a difference

Love these: 1. After Hours - Combines everything Abel has done best in his career, plus great narrative 2. Kiss Land - Intriguing narrative and world-building 3. Dawn FM - Great followup to After Hours but compared to AH, it's a bit more straightforward 4. Starboy - Modern bangers with a consistent sound. The album art perfectly encapsulates what you're going to hear. Also Abel's most iconic era The rest, I don't listen to much: 5. Echoes of Silence - Wonderful production, but I just don't vibe much with these early tapes 6. House of Balloons - Classic, but still don't vibe much with it 7. Thursday 8. BBTM - Abel's least interesting project, feels more like a compilation than an album. Only better than MDM due to having multiple classics 9. MDM - Just don't care for it

My Ranking would go as follows: 1) Kiss Land 2) After Hours 3) EoS 4) My dear Melancholy 5) House of Balloons 6) Dawn FM 7) Thursday 8) Starboy 9) BBTM With how vastly he has evolved from his original projects i think this ranking can differ completly bc he covers so many different styles. Kiss Land, EoS and MDM are criminally underrated tho.

1. Kiss Land (Adaptation and Kiss Land, actually every song is amazing imo) 2 .Echoes Of Silence (Outside, The Dawn and EOS) 3. House Of Balloons (The Knowing, High For This, 28) 4. Thursday (The Zone, The Birds Pt.2, Heaven Or Las Vegas) 5. My Dear Melancholy (I Was Never There, Privilege, but also every song) 6. Beauty Behind The Madness (The Hills, As You Are, Often. Two songs that I consider part of this era "KOTF" and "Where You Belong") BBTM should be higher in the list, since it´s my first Weeknd album and it has a special place in my heart. 7. Dawn FM (Is There Someone Else, Out Of Time, Every Angle Is Terrifying. To me the album sounds more polished the After Hours, I love it, it has a bit of a Kiss Land touch to it) 8. After Hours (Faith, Bleed Out, Too Late, L.A. and After Hours) 9. Starboy (Die For You, Party Monster, Starboy, False Alarm, Stargirl) that album is still dope, but also my least favorite, but from time to time I revisit it.
