Kanye’s not lost or crazy at all. He’s a human experiencing life. Old and new imo is more talking about his music. I miss his old soulful sound. I still like a lot of his newer stuff, but between me coming of age when he first came out (I was in high school 2002-2006), to the nostalgia and good memories tied to those early songs and albums of his, that era of Kanye will always be closest to my heart and soul. Either way he’s almost always a trailblazer and YEARS ahead of the genre.

Although I think this is a well put together video who's argument seems to be Kanye has always been Kanye as he's always been outspoken. Although I do find that true, I think what people mean when they say they "miss the old kanye" is that they miss him being outspoken ON shit that matters. I mean, this can be exampled through Kanye's sense of humor. Just like being outspoken, Kanyes always had a sense of humor. I laughed at College Dropout's "some of 'em dyslexic / They favorite 50 Cent song "12 Questions"" and I laughed at LOP's "... and if i get bleach on my t shirt, ima feel like an asshole." but the context of each joke contained in each song's subject matter makes emphasis on who kanye is at the time. CollDrp./LatReg era Kanye, as he said it at the time, was a "combo of Ludacris mixed with Dead Prez". More recently, if this era' ye (before the god stuff) came out when the original ye came out, he would of said he wanted to be more of "Chingy mixed with D4L". Which if you know your shit, isn't good.
I always liked how College Dropout and Late Registration's tone and subject matter felt down-to-earth. He was like a dude at a barber shop chatting about what he read in the Chicago Tribune with a Sprite in his hand, and a phat farm polo waiting to get a line-up. Then he just became the guy who got the 60,000 dollar a year job with a stuck up attitude who would never even dream of eating at that old greasy 7 dollar sandwich shop he'd go to after a haircut.
It’s like anyone didn’t listen to “Ye” and “Kids see ghosts” this is father Kanye and showing his power trip highs and his depressing lows. Do you want college dropout 4 or a complete new and grown Kanye?
Hes a genius at music but you can't expect Piccaso to fly a plane, you also can't expect kanye to be a perfect public speaker or politician its just not his realm. Stick to his music, that's where he truly shines.
„If you Look at an interview from me from 10 years ago, everybody say‘s (I Love that Interview). People didn’t love it back then thought. Cause i was speaking to the future.“ - K.West in 2013 I think that's why Kanye is annoyed with "I miss the old Kanye" comments. Because at that time many people didn't find him serious about his rapping. He was doubted that he would do fashion. The 808 & Yeezus album was totally hated. In most of the things he predicted, he was a meme. And now everything has manifested and people say "We have always loved it. Since day 1." It's like "Why do you love the 808 & Yeezus albums now? Because it's old?" Reminds me when Outkast came into the rap game and who were treated disrespectfully because the were ATL rappers. Now they belong to the top 5-3 rap group of all time for many.
That's why we love him! Kanye is an icon. He doesn't need to stay relevant. He is a true artist now and many people are looking to him for answers, albeit confusing ones.

A. B. Ohh you must be a kid.
I always liked how College Dropout and Late Registration's tone and subject matter felt down-to-earth. He was like a dude at a barber shop chatting about what he read in the Chicago Tribune with a Sprite in his hand, and a phat farm polo waiting to get a line-up. Then he just became the guy who got the 60,000 dollar a year job with a stuck up attitude who would never even dream of eating at that old greasy 7 dollar sandwich shop he'd go to after a haircut.
do you watch any of his interviews? he´s only talking about shit that matters
@@seinenwax94jr9 Truth!
@@vi8721 Which one, where he was talking about how god put him on earth to be rich or sway not having the answers?
It’s like anyone didn’t listen to “Ye” and “Kids see ghosts” this is father Kanye and showing his power trip highs and his depressing lows. Do you want college dropout 4 or a complete new and grown Kanye?
Now there is
I was about to say the same thing
This means that there IS a old Kanye btw

Exactly
Hes a genius at music but you can't expect Piccaso to fly a plane, you also can't expect kanye to be a perfect public speaker or politician its just not his realm. Stick to his music, that's where he truly shines.
I miss kanye kanye, the kanye kanye
there ain't a new kanye,
there ain't a old kanye,
there's just kanye kanye,
man that be so kanye!!
„If you Look at an interview from me from 10 years ago, everybody say‘s (I Love that Interview). People didn’t love it back then thought. Cause i was speaking to the future.“ - K.West in 2013
I think that's why Kanye is annoyed with "I miss the old Kanye" comments. Because it's old?"
Reminds me when Outkast came into the rap game and who were treated disrespectfully because the were ATL rappers. Now they belong to the top 5-3 rap group of all time for many.
HipHopMadness is what Akademiks should have been but never became
Bruh, I love your content but don’t ever sing again, just read the lyrics.
Pavel Gonzalez 🤣 kept it real wit this one
Thank you!
Y’all gotta show Mike Myers reaction to Ye’s George Bush comment 😂
Like getting hit by a train, and you weren't ready, because you were on a hidden railroad. Lol
Especially Chris Tucker's 😂
My favorite Mike Myers moment!
W Kanye forever
100% correct. He's always been like this, his opinions just used to be more popular.
First time a video I vote is the one a UA-camr gets to release.
Everything before mbdtf was Kanye, everything after is Ye.
This was so good
The man has conviction, whether he's right or wrong, he fights and stands for what he believes in.
Agreed Goodshit 🏁💯
No man is perfect but I love Kanye West! 🙏🏼💙

This is a great video 👍🏾 I don’t agree with everything that was stated here but a lot of the example you gave we’re good talking points.
Kanye was always like this. Bt his old music was good.
There are very Few people(Genius)who understand Ye

HipHop Madness always dilivers
There is.
Kanye west is a big rollmodel
False prophets was J Cole thinking Kanye lost it after hearing TLOP LMAO
TLOP is better than most of J Cole’s albums
M 360 all *
MDTF is better than all Kendrick albums won't even mention 808
That's why we love him! Kanye is an icon. He doesn't need to stay relevant. He is a true artist now and many people are looking to him for answers, albeit confusing ones.
Forever the GOAT.
Damn I really want to know who illustrated that thumbnail art. It’s amazing.
There is a old Kanye when it comes to music
