- ALOHA🌺 We went to a local hidden gem brunch spot located in Manoa of Oahu, Hawaii that serves up local style breakfast, the BEST scones and serves our local community by providing vocational training for graduates of programs for the treatment of substance abuse disorders and for individuals recently released from incarceration. We want to highlight local businesses in Hawaii and in order for mom and pop businesses to stay in business we try to support as many local businesses as we can!

The ending is sooooo funny! I'm glad you showed daVonne asking, "is that Jesus?" Then she's giggling and laughing so much she almost falls off the bridge. Love those moments when you can't stop laughing and almost pee your pants because you're laughing so much. And the reviews with the 3 of you in it are great!

I know the owners and the church they support. I've eaten there on many occasions. Try the pancakes, breakfast bowls and I love the Blueberry scones. They have their hearts in the right place. 🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️

Citrus on the avocado helps with oxidation. They don’t turn brown as fast. Learned this from rolling sushi😅

Waioli Tea Room started my love for afternoon tea. I first there for a craft fair and ate lunch there. Went back the next week for tea. The menu has changed. Have to go again.

I went there when I was a little kid with my parents to see and hear a famous gospel singer Mahalia Jackson in the early 60s. But my wife and I will be checking it out.

Went there for the first time this morning. Food, employees, ambiance was good. I don’t particularly like to share negative comments but want to share that we had an extremely horrible experience with their owner which is shame because of their food and program.

Aloha Amanda & Felix, and Yvonne. The food looked delicious and I also like how they give back to the community, especially those who had fallen on hard times and needed a 2nd chance. I absolutely love Yvonne's belly laugh (I laugh like that as well) and seeing Felix crack up was hilarious.

Went there when was the Tea house. The food was dee-lish back then too. Service was great and staff were very friendly. Love what they’re doing there.

Sorry, but short ribs in a scone total turn off. I'm Scots and Irish so goes against my traditional tastes. But the rest of them sound delicious. The breakfast bowl looked delicious, very Ono. Shout out to Yvonne for her willingness to stand in long lines.

As you drove along the lush, green roads and into the restaurant parking lot, I knew exactly where you were going! Iʻm a born-and-raised Mānoa Valley Girl, and the Waiʻoli Tearoom was always a special place to us. My brotherʻs wedding was in the garden and the reception was in the tearoom and lānai. (Lots of Japanese couples used to get married in the nearby chapel.) I also liked to take visiting friends there for lunch or tea and conversation. The new Waiʻoli Kitchen and Bake Shop menu is quite different now but quite suited to today's local tastes and everything you had looked really 'ono! (I haven't been there since they reopened, but I have had the delicious baked goods before.) Mahalo for going there and sharing your experience with us!
Just FYI, here's some info. about Robert Louis Stevenson -- Yes, the middle school was named after him -- and why the grass hut is there and has been a kind of historical "attraction" for visitors.
