Don't fret, it's just a song. Barry has been married over 50 years .... happily!
It's always amazes me that people take these songs so seriously. I agree just a song
You're right :There's nothing like Barry. These brothers sing with such emotion and they are so classy.
Man in the middle is a great song too
Or closer than close!!! Love when Maurice sings lead!!!
Bee Gees Sacred Trust. Wedding Day. 🥰
YES! Especially “Wedding Day”! As a longtime fan of The Bee Gees with every US released album, that is one of my favorites.
Just love these guys... always have, always will ❤. Barry could sing the phone book and make it sound sexy.
I grew up with this great group. They wrote all their own music for themselves & others. Love their early music especially 60's-70's. Barry has a great falsetto voice. Some of their early hits were "New York Mining Disaster 1941", "To Love Somebody", "Holiday", "Massachusetts", "World", "And The Sun Will Shine", "Really & Sincerely", "Words", "The Singer Sang His Song", "I've Gotta Get A Message To You", "Lonely Days", "I Started A Joke", "Melody Fair", "First of May", "Give Your Best", "Lamplight" etc.
It's just a song - a really great song, but just a song. For me personally, I like that they named it Angela, because it feels like an angelic choir when they sing. This lead does belong to Barry and his gorgeous, raw and powerful voice. I am happy you enjoyed it. I am a fan of E.S.P. and this is a lovely song that also shows off the brothers' beautiful harmony.
well said. hope you're doing well
@@natashyahendrix2 I am doing pretty well. I just laid out my clothes (and ooh shoes) for tomorrow to speed up the morning rush. I feel like a 3rd grader. LOL What kind of day did you have?
@@janicetrimmell6897 my day was pretty good as well. Please be safe out there and enjoy your day.
Sorry. I really did not like this song very much.
@@natashyahendrix2 Well I made it through the day at the office. Very strange being there after all this time. I'm tired but fine. Some of the anxiety is easing.
Angela is still my favorite after all these years. It's a soulful song.
In 1987 I purchased the E.S.P cassette tape. Right away my favorite was Angela of all the songs on the tape. I went to Miami in 2016. I found where Barry lived. I went there and took some pictures and posted them on Facebook. A lady that was good friends with the Bee Gees since the 1970s messaged me back and asked if I met Barry. I said no. Her name was Georgette. She asked me if a black Escalade was parked under a green awning by his house. There was. She said that he was at home. It was on a Sunday, which is his family time she said. Then she said to wait til Monday morning and go back to his house and wave at the huge camera by his main driveway and wait til someone comes out and ask them if he will meet me. I did what she said and waited. Finally someone I couldn't identify came out there to the gate. I asked if Barry would meet me. They went back in and glory behold, he appeared from the side of the house where he was parked. Wow. I trembled a little. I was nervous. He came to the gate and shook my hand. I talked with him for a few minutes and asked him about my favorite song which is Angela. I asked, 'What inspired you to write Angela'? He said that it was from an idea that was just to write another song. A filler for the album. Amazing that this song is more powerful and heartfelt than any other on the album. It's the best. Anyway that's the story. In 2008 we lost a young family member named Angela and I thought of this song. She was only 27.
I didn't know Barry wrote a song about me!😍
Thanks for that. I lost my one and only 3 years ago, after 41 years together. Waiting to see him again.
Wow!!!!!! Devin, you have hair!!!!! It’s GORGEOUS!!!!!!!
If you are a Bee Gees fan watch them doing Please Please Me when they were just kids.
Yep, just a song with good choice of name, nothing personal, but they sure sing with emotion! Agree 100% with the Christian perspective and God's Word! ❤️❤️❤️
love this
Stupenda canzone ❤❤
I love all your reactions but please do the reaction to some Robin's or Maurice's song!!!! Massachusetts, Juliet, Closer Than Close , Man In the Middle ❤️❤️❤️
My favorite is closer than close!!!
My Maurice lead fav is WALKING ON AIR
I do agree that Robin and Maurice can sing well, too. Don't forget them.
Just hypothetical. Barry married Maureen in Australia as a teen but left to return to the UK and then married Linda for over 50 years. Robin married Molly at 19 but was always gone touring and she refused to leave the UK so his wife left him after 11 years. He remarried and was with Dwina 30 years from the early 1980's until he died in 2012. Mo briefly married the singer Lulu but they were very young and split up. He married Yvonne in the 70's and they stayed together until he died in 2003.
You would love their song "Lonely Days"
Angela was a fling that Barry had when he was in Spain one time. Barry, we still love you anyway.
Bee gees "bodyguard"
Angela is just a name in a song....Barry married Linda in 1970 and has been happily married to her for 50yrs.
Amen. May the glory off the Lord be with you always. God bless. Your sister in Christ Tammy. Love you brother.
“Lovers” would be a good song to react to. It’s an underrated R&B deep cut from their 1976 Children of the World album.
COTW is a great album.
@@Zlata1313 Their best album in my opinion. They were the blackest white boys at the top of the charts back in those days.
@@triad5766 I put Main Course up there as their best album with COTW not far behind. They called their music contemporary r&b/blue eyed soul.
@@Zlata1313 Yeah it definitely was R&B, not disco. Their most well known songs are disco but the music _generally_ in that period was R&B, a blend of soul and funk. One of the most underrated groups in recent memory for how big they were then. The disco backlash was valid in my opinion but they shouldn’t have been the face of it. Their music was phenomenal.
@@triad5766 they hated the disco label. They offered those already written songs to Robert Stigwood, never knew it would become what it did. So I don't agree about deserving becoming the poster child for disco.

VERY GOOD!! REACT LIVE OR DIE BEE GEES...
Until your channel, the only Bee Gees I heard was on Saturday Night Live, Barry Gibb Talk Show with Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon. So thanks for introducing me to some Bee Gees.
You should also try Chad L. Summers videos.
You need to check out Rare of Breed the song bottom of the map or God knows. It's country mixed with rap!!
Check out Wedding day, such a pretty song….
Absolutely!
Grateful Dead 🌹

Maurice was married to Lulu 69 to 73
I love the Bee Gees but what happened to your Journey reactions they have so many more songs and Steve Perry does too Devin lol
Can you please react to Robert Palmer song called Know by now
Please
Not really a Barry fan. Of the three bros in the group, my man is Robin. The songwriting and harmonies, though, are always impeccable.
I'm with you. Robin was such an intelligent and eccentric personality. Barry said NOBODY could match his wit. His voice was inimitable. Mo was a master musician and fun guy.
@@susieq9801 hey Q! You know I'm with you 1000%.
