EDIT: looked it up, I see the similarity in Doug's version as far as "getting the government involved". Drew puts the DMV spin on it and then segues into the rant. I don't think it's that bad. Amy Schumer on the other hand won't even put a twist on a stolen joke, that's bad.
No lie, Oklahoma just did this again. We now have, what may be the most progressive school anti-hate speech law in the US.
This bill is REALLY a bill to prevent Oklahoma teachers from teaching Black History, but they couldn't just say that in the bill, so the actual text of the bill says that, it is illegal for:
Any employee of any school district in Oklahoma to "require" any individual should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her sex.

chris101ward i didn’t steal shit. you can observe that one line in this 4 minute bit is similar to his. but you’re calling me a thief which is another thing entirely. i have three hours of material out on albums and specials, and one line from one bit resembles another comic’s and you try to discredit me, which is fucked. some jokes aren’t that far of a leap once you make the initial observation. i’m done defending myself.

chris101ward i agree! i didn’t do that, despite what you think. it’s clear from the rest of my work that i don’t need to take anything from anyone, so why would i? i didn’t. we wrote a very similar joke from a very similar POV. that’s literally all that happened.

As I once watched the Zeitgeist Movies, I remember them saying that one day we‘ll ALL recognize the necessity of building the new social order. Let me make this clear: The Businesses will NEVER give up their Power! We will need to organize first in order to win the new society.
