Literally 2 years ago my son was in pre-k and after his first day at school he came home and I was asking him new friends names, he said ‘I met a friend called potato “ I laughed for a solid evening telling him there was no way, and he swore blind that was his name 😂 and yes weeks later found out his name was also Matteo

I've just said matteo and potato, several times outloud.. . and Im scottish so not even American... and its kinda the same .. for me.. the lip movement is different only at the start .. between the two...where I kinda puff out the "pu" sound... and that's as in 'pu'-tate-o......and 'mu-tate-o' ! so maybe same in American ?

Kids can be so adorable with name pronunciation. I used to play with a five year old cousin (I think she was a cousin; This was like 20, 25 years ago) of a former girlfriend of my uncle who would call me "Germany." I thought it was the cutest thing. Every time she saw me she'd yell "Germany!" and run up to me. Also, I can't ask my uncle what the kid's relation to her was because he's no longer with us and I forgot which girlfriend it was. Plus I haven't seen the kid for a long time now, but she'd be full grown. Heck, I've even forgotten the kid's name at this point. I'm bad with names. I'll forget a name I heard two days ago, let alone two decades ago.
Seriously though, that opera opening joke was perfection.

@@erintherapyI don't talk s*** about my ten-year-old self trying to do my best I just wish the people surrounding my ten-year-old self had given me a little bit more confidence. My 63 year old self is still talkingshit when I'm doing my very best. Sorry that was a bit deep for a Sunday morning. I will say I was a very adorable ten-year-old self. What a little sweetie with the biggest heart. I'm happy to hear that you were loving with your young self.❤

Most of these jokes were all you could find of his comedy online. I'm happy he's started releasing new stuff online.
These jokes were also funny they're very difficult to top. Ellen always included her best jokes all the way thru her stand up. I think comedians are like Rock Stars. Fans want to here the old faves.

EXCITED for the special. Honestly, I laughed at the old routine. There are DEFINITELY comics whose start was really unformed- a little mortifying- but his building blocks were all there.
I have to say that even then you could see the talent Matteo. You have worked hard to sharpen your skills, timing etc. , but the core talent shows. Happy PRIDE!

I see the same amazing person, and with so much energy, masculine energy, that's why people tells your look was or is "straight" is because you have a strong masculine or active, creative in an impulsive and volatile way, that is not random but instinctual, it's a skill, and I love it!

This is so neat! I love seeing the evolution of where you started and how you've grown.
As a bald guy I definitely understand the affinity for ball caps. In a weird twist, though, I only wear mine when my (remaining) hair is grown out a bit because it emphasizes the bald spots so much more. It doesn't really bother me when my head's shaved/buzzed. I let my hair grow out about five inches last winter and I looked fkn ridiculous.

I see videos of myself from my facebook timeline 10 years ago and i just CANNOT deal with it xD And that's just from me talking to my family/friends making dumb jokes and stuff not doing like proper professional stand up comedy. You were great for only just a year in, and i still found it funny now.
