    Great video I was reading about woman using estriol vaginal cream as estriol is the non cancerous estrogen that can repair vaginal dryness and provide needed estrogen for the brain. Also as there is phase 1 and 2 circulation, in other words if you take a supplement by mouth it must go through the liver first and create metabolites that may be harmful it you use cream on the vagina it goes into the blood stream 1st and lastly is directed out by the liver. And that you can use calcium d glucarate as a phase 3 to eliminate excess estrogen from recirculating in the body

    If it's been about two days, and the symptoms persist, you may want to take a glance at Renatta Kirmzel's plan. It may not be the right thing for everyone, but you can still check it out to verify that it makes sense to you.

    Last period was 5 years ago...spotting on and off for 3 months, constant spotting this entire week. Dripping urine after urinating. I see blood particles in toilet. Hard to get an appointment to ob/gyn during COVID.

      Hi Angie
      Spotting like this could be caused by a number of factors such as a vagina tear, fibroids or polyps, a prolapse or a bladder infection so a proper diagnosis is needed. Maybe see if you could speak to one of your practice nurses first to see if they can offer advice on what you should do next.

    Thought I would post on here since I can't find any info on the internet. I'm in early post menopause. I haven't had any discharge for about 4 months then BAM! It came back ( no bleeding) However I've noticed this has been a pattern for a couple of years.....I'll be dry for a few months, then get a discharge for about 3-4 weeks daily then it goes back to being dry again for months. I couldn't find any info about this. I'm not having any other symptoms, I feel fine. Discharge doesn't look weird. But does anyone else get these symptoms?

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  10 місяців тому +1

      Hi Sara
      This is quite common! At the beginning of the menopause, there is often still a sort of hormonal cycle even though there are no periods. As hormones are fluctuating, at certain points, the balance of progesterone to oestrogen may affect the production of mucus in the vagina leading to a discharge. You may find a combination of Sea Buckthorn Oil (for the dryness) and a vaginal probiotic may be helpful

    I had a womb scrape due to very heavy periods. Also a manira coil was put in. Now I have a constant heavy discharge but it's normal consistency n no smell etc. No sexual partner in over 5 years. I used to produce a lot less before op. No sign of infection/itching etc.

      Hi
      Has your doctor suggested anything else such as a scan to see what may be causing the bleeding? If not and the bleeding hasn't stopped then it is really important to go back and ask them to investigate further.
      Bleeding like this could be caused by various issues such as a vagina tear, polyps or even a prolapse so a proper diagnosis should be sought.

      This is normally quite natural in the menopause and often caused by changing levels of friendly bacteria in the vagina. You may find a vaginal probiotic can be of benefit - you should be able to get this from most health shops.

      Hi Sandra
      We do know that stress and anxiety can affect the hormones so this may be one trigger for you. However, it is wise just to check with your doctor again as things can change quickly as you approach the menopause. They can make sure that other issues such as fibroids, polyps/cysts or even a prolapse are not contributing to the spotting.

Since June 8 (today is June 13), I have discharge daily. No color, no smell. I don’t like the wet feeling so I wear pantyliners each day. Is this normal? Am I in perimenopause?

      Discharge can change in the menopause but it is best to get a check from your doctor just to make sure that there is no infection present.
      If you are doing heavy weights it is really important to protect your pelvic floor muscles, putting pressure in the wrong places could lead to a prolapse. I would suggest seeking the advice of an experienced Pilates instructor as they can show you specific exercises that will protect you.
