"I fucking LOVE older black metal and some modern stuff - grew up obsessed with Emperor, Ulver and a bunch of other bands. I wouldn't say it plays any role in our influences (sadly… haha)." said holcomb and then wrote this song :P
Best kept secret- i only dig instrumental perri. Had no clue these guys love music and as well money thats why peri exists - but good Lord this is freaking solid!!!
+godmetal101 him or marco minnemann. i think the latter would suit them better. he is not just fast, but innovative, brilliant and never heard him repeating patterns.
Yeah the band consists entirely of two of the guitarists from Periphery, Mark Holcomb and Misha Mansoor. It's their side project for heavier, more blast-beaty shit that they felt couldn't go into Periphery.
It's funny at the very beginning when there is only the drums, you can hear some guitar noises (especially left channel), they didn't even care to edit this haha, sounds like a demo but with the production of a highly skilled sound engineer
i think this song represents misha's frustration that matt wont play blast beats.
Dying laughing.
Never laughed about a comment that hard
sounds the same in 144p than it does in 1080p. Trve kvlt
hahaha, I think they have a blast making this album
I see what you did there ;)
Love it!
Had*
I can't even believe that this guy didn't sincerely thank you for correcting him...that's crazy.
A gravity blast
marks black metal influences REALLY show in this. it's fucking amazing
These 2 minutes and 16 seconds is basically Mark and Misha saying "fuck you" to every guitarist.
yep.
to every drummer :'''D
+Courtney Mathews Nah. I feel that should be said more towards drummers. Seems kinda difficult.
That menacing guitar sound at 1:32 "BAAAOOOOW". I dropped my shit 0_0
+Alex Moor I want that sound to play whenever I enter or exit a room
+Andrew Shores make it your ringtone or text tone hahaha

I just think of the bad thing the very second it starts with that intro fill.
R.I.P drummers
Almost Archspire speeds here lol
Awesome stuff
Fallujah's drummer (Andrew Baird) would do this in his sleep ^-^. The guy is Superior Drummer
Andrew wound crush this
The irony is definitely not lost on me that Superior Drummer is the name of a VST instrument... 😂
Best kept secret- i only dig instrumental perri. Had no clue these guys love music and as well money thats why peri exists - but good Lord this is freaking solid!!!
Someone call George Kollias for this one!
+godmetal101 him or marco minnemann. i think the latter would suit them better. he is not just fast, but innovative, brilliant and never heard him repeating patterns.

+Damien Karan Sounds just like a really fast and well done pick slide.
Yeah I thought so too, this song is insane. Thanks, man!
I hear a bit of Keith Merrow in the riffs, interesting stuff.
Years later and still my favorite drum track
A sonic assbeating ensues...
BLAOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN
haha the crazy blast beats :D:D Awesome!
Have you ever started a song and immediately came?
5 years on, and no drummer has dared to cover it... pretty sure it's impossible :/
I bet someone can play this
@@tobee_gamer5816 big, if true

Oh Misha from Periphery is in this and thats why its so heavy and technical
Yeah the band consists entirely of two of the guitarists from Periphery, Mark Holcomb and Misha Mansoor. It's their side project for heavier, more blast-beaty shit that they felt couldn't go into Periphery.

It's funny at the very beginning when there is only the drums, you can hear some guitar noises (especially left channel), they didn't even care to edit this haha, sounds like a demo but with the production of a highly skilled sound engineer
