Mike Semesky is one of my favourite vocalists in the game right now. Not only is he incredibly talented but he's one of the most down to earth human beings I've ever met
Because that is where terrible music goes to be danced and sang along to once before it dies and is forgotten forever. Whereas I will be telepathically downloading this to my great-grandchildren in 2070.
This band is mostly made from members of periphery. You'll notice Sentient Glow made onto the new HAIL STAN album (albeit almost ruined by the new melody). You'll find most of these old haunted shores riffs throughout periphery's work where they haven't ported songs over
I just wish the sound wasn't clipping so much. Awesome vocals though, especially the scream/growls. He has that abrupt feel to his screams that I like a lot.
Haha, but seriously, you know it to be true. Thousands of artists that go mainstream usually turn to shit..not that anything is wrong with mainstream music, but hey
@Stooeybear13 - People don't know how to appreciate music unless it's showy overly-fast tripe or have ridiculous costumes with singers who either sing right out of their noses or bends every other note like a wannabe lap steel player... Simply put, they don't know how to appreciate music that requires you to think about what's going on or being said.
well this made my Terra Firma.
This is gonna be revisited for the next haunted shores record! So excited to hear it!
Man....

Would love to see Dan Tompkins and Ryan Devlin do a Haunted Shores song.

This is beyond comprehension, I cant even put words on this song...

Amazing, I love it! :D
the first parts of drums reminds me "the gods must be crazy" from periphery

@EXQUISITE NACHOS yo I agree with you on the sentient glow thing I always listen to the haunted shores version over the hail stan version
This is sweet!!
Yup, and he did an awesome job on the album!
I have a version of this song with Chris Baretto on it called When in Oslo - interesting to hear this version
came out on my birthday.. must be good!
Oh yeah ! this would be a great idea ! Like the part at 0:30. I'll totally dig his singing w/this phrase !
well.. all the gold for us then!
nice man
@Umaiketsu That is a recipe for EPIC!!!
Oh god yes.
I swear I could listen to the part that starts at 0.16 for hours on end
this is now th HAARP Machine's singer yes?
2:40 to - 3:00 is fuckin' crushing!
Well this video is short a couple thousand views. Very catchy tune!
Know who I'd like to hear on a Haunted Shores song? Joe Duplantier.
I'd really, really like to find the lyrics to this song... Would someone help me out? I haven't been able to find them online.
mike semesky has a very manly voice lol
@thelastsandlins me too, feels like they clearly made the vocals to fit the song here
@Umaiketsu totally agree dude
You sed it babygurl.
@StylishStar88 Couldn't agree more.
My journey that started with iron maiden, ends here...
Highly influenced I guess because it does sound similar but cool.

Why isnt this in the mainstream charts?
@Stooeybear13 Because mainstream charts aren't ready for songs like this
why cant that end just last forever
When in Terra Firma
Need to here Brandon Butler of Veil Of Maya over these tracks shit would be brutiful
Hide your children! Lock your doors !
They can't do that for safety reasons. The world would implode if that much talent was in the same place at the same time.
@LetsPride yeah we sorta arnt that awesoome... nice tees though
Why hello there, king hipster.
need instrumentals.....
More like There are a few people with good taste in music so the Great bands with much effort get left out.
@wysle trees
Nah man you don't understand i never mentioned a scene or something like that just go away
Mechina Andromeda, just spreading the word, thank me later
LOL
Not anymore
I hear final fantasy 7
@do0rkn0b nope
I actually think "When in Oslo" was better.
@Stooeybear13 Because Disturbeds on mainstream charts. Seeing Haunted Shores and Disturbed on the same chart. Big no no.
Because it would ruin the point of this genre! Non mainstream , metal in it self must stay that way! \m/
because people with good taste in music doesn't listen to the bands on the mainstream charts
... and Marilyn Manson a good vocalist for Muse.
Haha, but seriously, you know it to be true. Thousands of artists that go mainstream usually turn to shit..not that anything is wrong with mainstream music, but hey
fuck that. so that it can be overpopularized and diluted? So it can have thousands of people oversaturating the genre? nope.jpg
Chris Baretto is way better for this song. Sorry, this isnt working.

Because the band actually has skill and doesn't play the repetative "catchy" bullshit.
lol
@FVEliteDT Would you mind telling a poor, ignorant cretin of any good songs by them? Always looking for some more good prog bands :D
