@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I had been watching the GMT but, thought it was expensive with complications I don't really want (Date and GMT) and I try to keep my AE purchases under $200. Your review made the decision for me and the price is in line withe the other watches I have bought on sale. I think the GMT is interesting but not useful to me and can make the watch hart to read "at a glance". The date function makes it harder to set and having as many watches as I do, I prefer a three Hader. This should fit the bill.
@@Michael-us9rq Thanks very much. If you've got experience with doing that kind of thing, I don't see why it would be any more difficult than any other watch.
It is a great watch. Which colour would you be going for then? My fiancee always says something similar to that 😆 It seems to come in handy for work too. I'm a Support Worker in a homeless hostel.
I'm not typically a fan of San Martin, but I'm a fan of this watch. Unfortunately, it's well into microbrand territory at this price. Still worth it, fantastic looking piece, gorgeous colors, smart dial, everything is well thought out, they get the "little things" right, like the clasp. I would not be unhappy to have this in the collection, beautiful watch.
Great review, I really like that 👍. As I own the GMT SN0116G with similar colour dial it is interesting to see how many changes they made. The bezel profile and the domed crystal are completely different , the bracelet centre links are brushed and a different profile to my watch too. I like the hands, but I agree if diving, wider hands would help legibility.
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR No but they are on my list. I spent my money for this quarter on Jody’s watch. This watch better be worth it Jody! Ha! Just kidding.
Stunning watch. The summer is better with this peace I'm shure. But it's imcompreensible make tis watch without date at 6 o' clock. San Martin making many watches without date, is an error, of design concept, and the utility/value of the peace. Thank you very much for the revue, Sincerely I apreciate all.
I haven't had a chance to experience it over the summer, but yeah I think it's going to be a good one though. A date at the 6 o'clock position is definitely my preference if you're going to have one.
Fabulous looking watch but I agree with another poster that a Miyota 9015/9039 would be nice. The NH35 is a great movement but this watch in my opinion would be elevated with a 9015. My two cents. Still a great looking watch. Cheers!
This is an homage of an Ollech & Wajs diver. The bracelet, end link integration, case shape, and bezel edge are all identical to several models from O&W. This San Martin isn’t entirely original.
I don’t think I had seen this one before, I got the gmt version and boy did I screw up. The bezel insert is what I want changed ,without the lume pip/triangle it’s just a little bit too much for me to use as a timer , and it doesn’t really work as a diver with a 24 hour bezel and the numbers only. Who needs a fully lumed 24 hour bezel anyway? It looks charming though.I think I need to sell mine
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWRi liked it but I'd probably put that on in the summer if i had the watch, it had a summery sort of look to me, that's probably just me though lol. @@HonestWatchReviewsHWR yeah I heard about it when it got revived 6 or 7 years ago, but they’re pretty much only a vintage enthusiast brand.
