@@adamyanam6626 Where did he say that "Moira is exactly like Luffy"?.. If you read the comment, he actually said "it has the potential to be absolutely beautiful with this Luffy like character"... Honestly? The one I'm looking forward to the most is Kuma's backstory. They call him a fucking tyrant and yet all we can see is the kindest, most modest, good loving father in One Piece. I wholeheartidly believe that his story will be among the top 3 saddest stories in One Piece. I'm sure BB's will also be sad but I really don't look forward to it almost at all compared to Kuma's. I really hope we do get a detailed story about him. I can't accept getting a story for fucking Senior Pink and not for fucking Kuma. Idc how much Oda wants to rush things. He HAS to do it right. He has to give us info that we need. Especially about something more built up than even Yamato joining. (And I was agasinst Yamato joining since day 1)
I already know Kuma's backstory is going to break hearts. Oda's been doing this a long time. Hell, Nami's backstory is one of the first and it's still incredibly heart-breaking.
I really hope we can get Akainu's backstory, he's probably my favorite antagonist in the series and I'm getting a tad worried he's gonna get thrown to the side a bit in favor of the other big villains like Blackbeard and Imu.
I don't think Garp was heavy on Dragon about the marines.... Garp seems to be more about people having their freedoms.... I think Garp is only hard on LUFFY because he feels if he repeated the " freedom " way with dragon then Luffy would copy him. Garp obviously knows how powerful the WG is and would want to protect Luffy from it.
The "Nothing Happened" moment is more significant than previously thought. It mirrors the sacrifice that Kuma made that not even the revolutionaries and his daughter know about. Everyone talks about what Zoro did but not as to why Kuma did it. That moment in retrospect gave Kuma his resolve to go through with his plan with Vegapunk.
You know what would be amazing, blackbeard and akainu having the same backstories, they see things in different POVs and go to the evil extreme of both pirates and marines thinking they are right.
I feel like everyone might've noticed this already, but I just realized that that image of Blackbeard crying as a child clearly has something to do with his inability to sleep. That's why the freaking moon is specifically shown in the background. Might be a similar situation to a character like Alphonse in Full Metal Alchemist maybe?
We’ll probably get something related to it in Blackbeard’s backstory, but I’d really like some sort of Xebec backstory, or at least a Roger backstory involving Xebec.
Dragon has main characters goal list. Which is actually kind of intriguing. Cus luffys goal is too "be free" he could care LESS if the world changes. Luffy sets free the ones who aren't amd that's about it. Dragons MAIN goal is practically support too luffys goal. Without dragon even knowing he started the dawn. That's crazy.
I personally would like to believe Imu will have a Tragic back story as well especially if this person is immortal and if they were once a friend of Joyboy. It means they would of had to turn on a good friend watch them die and watch all there family and friends die just so they can monitor the balance. Like every single person Imu if Immortal got close too has died from Old Age.
The one thing that drives me nuts is people saying he ate multiple devil fruits. He ate one devil fruit and somehow absorbed White Beards devil fruit. White Beards devil fruit never came back as a fruit. I'm not even sure if he was 100% dead when Teach took the fruit from him.
Holy fuck idk why this just came to me but what if akinu is rock’s kid. Maybe the hate he has for pirates stemmed from a PoS dad who ended up being killed and left akinu to grow up alone People kept sayin Kaido’s flashback was the best time to introduce rocks but maybe it’s akinu’s
obligatory: factor sucks. their meals suck. They are overpriced and have very poor customer service. Do NOT buy factor meals unless you can get a significant discount. Their regular price is not nearly worth it, neither for the time saved nor for nutrition.
yo what if his 2 sisters are literally what make blackbeard 3 individuals? like the sisters manifested into 3 (including teech) consciousnesses which is blackbeard
Could you imagine if one piece followed akainu from the start? You would think that ace was a monster and would be cheering when ace got fisted. Ace was an infamous pirate worth over half a billion in bounty, son of the pirate king and in most of the worlds eyes, he was evil. So i would love to see akainus backstory
I feel that imu’s backstory is probably the most interesting one that you missed mentioning. They have to explain how they were able to get to where they are now or else you get a kaguya 2.0 a villain with explanation as to who they are.
We probably won't get an Imu flashback, the general theory is that he was a figure during the void century, and he/she will get explained their, but it will most definitely center around joyboy. If imu isn't from the void century than we might get a dedicated flashback centering around him but odds are that he is from that time period
I really like the theory that Dragon isn’t Garps son but rather Garps son-in-law which would mean that Garp is Luffy’s maternal grandfather and dragon did not grow up with garp and maybe even his wife’s death at the hands of the government is what drove him to begin the revolutionaries
If devil fruits carry inherited will then it would be so fascinating to see who the original nikyu user was before Kuma, I’m sure that would also explain a lot about why he gave up everything for a certain cause.
It has never been confirmed that Dragon is the son of Garp. When chasing Luffy in Water 7, Garp said you're the child of my child, but he never acknowledged Dragon as his son the way Dragon acknowledged Luffy after the Marineford War. Apart from that you're spot on as always Morj!
The void century would be crazy if it had its own full blown side story manga that would be just as good as a stand alone manga. Like how Magi’s author did with the story of Sinbads back story. You can read/watch that without starting the main narrative first and still not get confused. But if you know the core story it’s a treat to see characters that were talked about make their appearance or cameo (for example young Toki on Wano or Oars)
*Ok guys, about to touch on a topic since this video mentioned it for all your benefit and it is a sidestep from One Piece (Please do read) :* 1:02 - Just wished to mention that even though not cooking by oneself would seem awesome and efficient, in the long run it is always *best* to cook for yourself. Unless Factor (or any food making group/family/individual) sells food that is completely home made and prepared by people whom truly take food preparation seriously ( *i.e.* understand the value of food and it's effect on the health of their customer, their mind etc. rather than just the taste ) and are good at heart as it is important - characteristics of one who prepares the food is reflected in the food and also affects the one who eats it (personal exp. and researched), it is always *great* to prepare your own food and eat it yourself as you know what your body needs are like how much salt, sugar etc. your body can take which others cannot figure out. Self - preparation has been highly in fact strongly recommended by medical specialists world over. As the saying goes "Every disease begins in the Gut" (Specialists would agree) , it becomes one's duty to look after their gut health. Hence not every food is good for an individual. Fried, overcooked, extremely spiced, salted or sugary etc. food always lead to diseases. One who learns to cook healthy food and eats and lives a healthy life always benefits by cooking for oneself. My elders always used to say : *It is always better to cook for oneself as one doesn't know what are the characteristics of people who cook them for you are.* Initially I found this odd but later got to know when I observed appointed cooks whom we used to treat as family didn't pay much attention to the needs of those eating the food but their time and money and are commercial. That is when I understood what Mother's food actually is and could gauge the immeasurable love and affection with which parents cook for their children and everyone in the family. Never fell sick from eating at home. It was like heaven's kitchen compared to any restaurant or outside places. Learnt traditional cooking from my parents since I had to as we are pure vegetarians and cannot do without vegetarian food. Cooking at home always served me well wherever I went and it also increases your skills also learning new dishes stimulates your brain and gives you some exercise if you are inactive. You also know to measure salt, sugar and such additives and condiments when cooking by yourself. There are two things that must never be commercialized but unfortunately are : One is Spirituality and the other is Food. Both have neuro - physical impact on any individual and hence directly on your health. So never be lethargic, *be active and lead a hale, hearty and healthy joyful life !* Wishing all of you all the best.
TWO FORESHADOWING BY ODA... 1. DURING ZOU ARC KING OF THE DAY AND NIGHT...MAY BE JOY OY WAS KING OF DAY AND IMU OF NIGHT DURING ANCIENT KINGDOM ERA. 2. WHITE FOX PROTECTING ARMOURY IN THE SAME WAY YAMATO SUPPOSED TO PROTECT WANO WHICH ITSELF HOLDS AN ANCIENT WEAPON
I'm not really able to guess what is the content of their back story but I can guess the theme of their back story. Dragon probably about pain and loss (luffy's mother perharp ?), probably in a brutal way too since the only thing I can sense from him all the time is the unending rage that has been suppressed and can just explode at any given time if the trigger is right. Black beard probably about being a broken person, can't sleep, can't feel, like an empty shell of a person, that's why he need the darkness fruit to absorb everything to get a "personality", and the reason for that emptyness might be explained in the backstory. Akainu has the Same unending rage like dragon but NOT suppressed, probably he has a very similar backstory like dragon, the problem is the culprit is pirate. I can't really sense anything from kuma so no comment on that Joy boy on the other hand, I sense betrayal from his own allies and unexpected ally from the enemies, probably not 2 entity but coming from just one, to be exact, Alabasta, part of the world government, but you can't tell me that they are the same with them, even has a glyph hidden and the government doesn't give a crap about it ? or they're hiding it in the first place, if so, why ? isn't them also waiting for Joyboy ? They seems to have a very long history in Joyboy era to even have a glyph with themself YET, being part of the WG, hmm....
I'm of the opinion that a "tragic" backstory for Akainu would kind of be lame. It would simply be unoriginal: one of the main baddies, who's backstory hinges upon the fact that his family was murdered and his home burned. That seems interesting but we've already had at least a few of the characters in One Piece already (for example: Robin, Doffy to an extent, Big Mom to an extent, Arlong in a way, etc.). It's just not super original to make that your villains motivation. I think, instead, it would be much more interesting to see Akainu simply unfold from a normal marine recruit into a hardened Admiral: seeing pirates killing innocents, sparing some pirates and finding them doing more harm, and most of all, your superiors constantly brainwashing you into thinking all of your enemies should die, and that anyone that disagrees is an enemy. It would be much more harrowing, because more than tragedy forming his "justice", it would be reality simply being real: Akainu seeing pirates being bad, and marines telling other marines that all pirates are bad. It would also be a good foil to Luffy, who saw the opposite: marines being rather corrupt and pirates often being pretty good.
My head cannon, Dragon and Akainu’s flashbacks are connected. With Garp Vs Blackbeard we will get both backstories and some Rocks info. With Kuma I think we lead into the Dragon backstory but also the void Century some. And with shanks we get some Mihawk but also huge Roger and Laughtale info.
Speaking of black beards strange body you think him and kuma could be form the same tribe ? Vegapunk said kuma had a special body that’s why he was used for the pacifistas and technically kuma has two df fruit powers one just being a single attack the light beam and the other his df
Theories on Blackbeard 1. Blackbeard lost his sisters to the Celestial Dragons. 2. Blackbeard was a Celestial Dragon slave who was forced not to sleep and was also later experimented on. 3. Blackbeard somehow escaped the Celestial Dragons and later joined the Whitebeard Pirates.
You FOrgot about fujitora, that guy is most interesting character on marines side. especially his approach to the grief he felt and what he saw that made him take away his light... akainu is generic something bad happened he became opposing pirates without ever stopping to think the other side.... fujitora on the other hand has the most level headed approach to the world... nothing he does is extremist, nothing he does is biased, nothing he does can be justified as bad. in every situation he does what an ideal marine should do without waiting for what happens in future. I want to see his backstory, what happened to this man to shape him in such a way. at the same time there are so many characters in one piece that it is not possible to get his full on backstory.
I like the Factor ad. It’s like, do you have time to watch over 1000 episodes of an anime? You must have no time at all to cook! Lol great video I’m not hating just an observation!
There are still sooo many Backstories to be told that we will probably never get told😭😭 Even Just in the Straw Hat Crew there are multiple: who were Nami's and Nojiko's biological parents, Same for Franky. Why/how is Choppers nose blue? What about Zoro's early childhood, this accually only get's more interesting, since there seem to be hints that He May be related to Ryouma in some way)? In Jinbei's flashback it seemed Like He was physically Superior to all (or Most) other fishmen, why is that the Case? How did Brook find His Devil Fruit? I Just want to find Out 🥺
While you've brought up some mildly interesting questions...we don't necessarily NEED flashbacks for most of those. We can fill in the blanks ourselves.
What if Akainu is from hachinosu or some shit Like he saw first hand what the worst pirate crew, the Rocks pirates, could do when they completely take over an island and thats why he completely abhors pirates The god valley incident which wiped out Rocks happened 38 years before the story, akainu being around 15 when Rocks dies That situates his childhood around sort of the prime Xebecs era
That new girl in the recent marine base, people speculate it's Akainu's daughter. That may not be proof for more backstory and rather a contrast to Akainu's character. But she's definitely a vehicle for the story to do anything with flashing back to Akainu's life.
what is garp became an admiral for a brief period and disobeyed orders then they (gorosei or maybe kong idk) killed his wife (dragons mom) and beat him to a pulp
Dragons wife was an archeologist. Dragon used to be a marine. Garps dream was passed on but something we wrong when Dragons wife was killed. That's my theory on how Dragon became a revolutionary.
I am still of the opinion that we could use a real Roger backstory. I know we got to see him reach Laugh Tale, but that was ultimately just a piece of Oden's backstory and a very small piece of Roger's story as a whole. For someone as important to the overall narrative as Roger, arguably 2nd only to Luffy, we really know very little about him.
If Saul is alive and the man marked by flames, we might get something with him. Probably not a backstory, but at least why he is a D clan member and such, as well as his importance to the story as Saul (or Paul when Jesus renamed him if I'm remembering correctly)
I feel like something happened to Blackbeard to turn him this way. Maybe he once had a group like luffy who he cared for and got betrayed this caused him to shut off the last good part of him and turn him into the person we know now
Wouldn't that be just a repeat of Moria then ? I feel like Moria is supposed to represent a Luffy that lost hope whilst Blackbeard represents a version where Luffy lost his way and chose the dark path
@@blairwilliams3311 I did not say opposite, I said that Moria represents a "what if Luffy lost his will ?". He is placed just before Sabaody to highlight this, we get a man that himself compares his younger self to Luffy and says that he should backpedal now before he loses everyone right before he ..... actually loses everyone, and we have the parallel between what happened to Moria after this happened to him (lost all hope and went into depression) and what happened to Luffy (kept on going and believing, he had his low after the death of Ace but he still was able to bounce back). Blackbeard wouldn't represent a Luffy that lost his dream, in fact it is clearly shown that he is a dreamer as well. Blackbeard should, to the contrary, represent basically a "what if Luffy had no morals and did whatever was necessary to achieve his dream ?", so rather an evil version and not one that had to cope with loss and all of that
@@sephikong8323 but here an issue we don’t know if Blackbeard lost anything or anyone. So there could have been a moment in time where something made bb change.. what if bb had morals at one point and maybe a death or being treated like shit turned him into the person he is. Or there is the other theory of him having multiple personalities
Their goal is COMPLETELY different.. BB wants power over everything. Luffy doesnt want to be bothered by anything.. so it´s pretty much the opposite. AND cooking is not "wasting time" x).. it´s a way to healthy living.

@@adamyanam6626 Where did he say that "Moira is exactly like Luffy"?.. If you read the comment, he actually said "it has the potential to be absolutely beautiful with this Luffy like character"... Being alike, is not being exactly the same.
I understand the comparison, and agree that they have similarities and that Moria (not MOIRA you bozos) is like a version of Luffy the Strawhats were killed by BlackBeard. In that regard, Moria *is* more similar to Kidd than he is to Luffy, BUT Kidd and Luffy share a lot of parallels too, so maybe stop comparing apples to oranges, and learn to read a comment properly.
@@razzynz5664 my bad for not clarifying. I meant ‘he’ as in moira himself. Right before Moria was taken down he says to luffy: “you are just like me.”
Edit: I meant a reread of thriller bark not the comment lol.
What if Akainu's backstory is similar to Koby's but he never got saved. Would make sense why they are diametrically opposed.
(And I was agasinst Yamato joining since day 1)
Well you got it
I already know Kuma's backstory is going to break hearts. Oda's been doing this a long time. Hell, Nami's backstory is one of the first and it's still incredibly heart-breaking.
Well, we are here now. Breaking hearts
I hope we see Fisher Tigerr in Dragon's backstory. Maybe Dragon was there when Tigerr attacked Mary Jois
I really hope we can get Akainu's backstory, he's probably my favorite antagonist in the series and I'm getting a tad worried he's gonna get thrown to the side a bit in favor of the other big villains like Blackbeard and Imu.
Oda was also dangling Rocks D. Xebec for quite a while so would be cool to get his flashback as well as more details on Kaido.
Thanks for the videos morj I’m losing my head trying to quit smoking and these take my mind away for lil bit
Even Oda hinted that when a fan asked him if Ruffy wasn’t the main character, who would it be ?
He answered ether Garp or Dragon his son.
What’s the source? if it’s an SBS, I would love to know which one!
The joy boy and void century reveal is gonna blow my mind man.
Hope we got Fujitora backstory with probably a warlord and the reason why he decide to become blind
Wow, good observation!
blackbeard is sadboy. backstory solved 😅
I will be the one... lets goooo
My guess, because blackbeard cant sleep, his dream is to have a dream as wellas rule the world
You know what would be amazing, blackbeard and akainu having the same backstories, they see things in different POVs and go to the evil extreme of both pirates and marines thinking they are right.
Really excited for Kuma….. he’s literally the equivalent to other Sacrificial heroes from the big 3 - Gin and Itachi
For a second I thought you were talking about Gin from the Baratie arc lmao
@@benecarbonara Is Gin even still alive? I remember Gin promised he'd see the straw hats on the Grand Line...look how that turned out.
Itachi being a hero was a lot more contrived than the other 2 lol
@@acetofresh1, true but it fits the "ninjas are just tools" narrative.
I’m so excited for kaido’s backstory! 😄
another amazing video morj! really great analysis and I hope we get all of those flashbacks!
Looking forward to backstories of these characters and also the main villain - Im
We’ll probably get something related to it in Blackbeard’s backstory, but I’d really like some sort of Xebec backstory, or at least a Roger backstory involving Xebec.
Morj here's an idea for a stream a you could rank the volume covers or color spreads
Another great video, as always
The one thing that drives me nuts is people saying he ate multiple devil fruits. He ate one devil fruit and somehow absorbed White Beards devil fruit. White Beards devil fruit never came back as a fruit. I'm not even sure if he was 100% dead when Teach took the fruit from him.
Seems like you were right, however its not for Dragon but his subordinate.
Holy fuck idk why this just came to me but what if akinu is rock’s kid. Maybe the hate he has for pirates stemmed from a PoS dad who ended up being killed and left akinu to grow up alone
People kept sayin Kaido’s flashback was the best time to introduce rocks but maybe it’s akinu’s
obligatory: factor sucks. their meals suck. They are overpriced and have very poor customer service. Do NOT buy factor meals unless you can get a significant discount. Their regular price is not nearly worth it, neither for the time saved nor for nutrition.
Fire vid as usual
the return of colored manga vids lets fuckin goo, all it needs is a mysterious one piece soundtrack
I hope to see more of Kaido. I still suspect Kaido’s backstory Will be fleshed out as we hear more about the rock’s pirates.
IM’s backstory will show the void century along with what they find at Laughtale
yo what if his 2 sisters are literally what make blackbeard 3 individuals? like the sisters manifested into 3 (including teech) consciousnesses which is blackbeard
Good video like always 👌
Could you imagine if one piece followed akainu from the start? You would think that ace was a monster and would be cheering when ace got fisted. Ace was an infamous pirate worth over half a billion in bounty, son of the pirate king and in most of the worlds eyes, he was evil. So i would love to see akainus backstory
I could've sworn I saw a video called Top 5 Tragic Backstories omg UWUUU
I feel that imu’s backstory is probably the most interesting one that you missed mentioning. They have to explain how they were able to get to where they are now or else you get a kaguya 2.0 a villain with explanation as to who they are.
We probably won't get an Imu flashback, the general theory is that he was a figure during the void century, and he/she will get explained their, but it will most definitely center around joyboy. If imu isn't from the void century than we might get a dedicated flashback centering around him but odds are that he is from that time period
Pov: you're a chef watching this
I really like the theory that Dragon isn’t Garps son but rather Garps son-in-law which would mean that Garp is Luffy’s maternal grandfather and dragon did not grow up with garp and maybe even his wife’s death at the hands of the government is what drove him to begin the revolutionaries
As a child, Dragon wanted cookie. Garp gave him punch of love. He understood the cruelties if the world government power. He decided to fought back.
Is this a commentary on uk's harry markle's meme?
@@bryansahertian4589 No brother. I made a funny comment. I think I overestimated my comedic skill.
Morj awesome analysis on these backstories really got the lightbulb going
Luffy's mom is either celestial dragon or ancient Kingdom resident/descendant her relevance is important at the end when Dragon gets a backstory.
His names monkey d dragon tho, and like luffy and garp he’s a born leader, I say this for garp, because he cannot be truly lead even being a marine.
It's perfect cause the sinbad manga was dark as fuck exactly how I assume the void century was
I'm surprised IM wasn't brought up.
*Ok guys, about to touch on a topic since this video mentioned it for all your benefit and it is a sidestep from One Piece (Please do read) :*
1:02 - Just wished to mention that even though not cooking by oneself would seem awesome and efficient, in the long run it is always *best* to cook for yourself.
This videos gets better with time. BBs supposed backstory being the inverse of Kumas story.
Honourable mention:- Shanks. Seems as important as Dragon and Blackbeard to me
TWO FORESHADOWING BY ODA...
Can’t wait for another small, middle, big backstory for Black Beard!
Shanks, Dragon, Rocks Garps and Rogers God valley flashback, all flashbacks im so hyped and anticipating so much
I'm the most hyped for Joy Boy's / Nika's flashback. OMG!
“Wasting time cooking” is one of the most stupid things I ever heard 😂
Possibly Some of the most tragic backstories :
1. Fujitora
2. Dragon
3. Akainu
4. Blackbeard
5. Zunesha
I can't really sense anything from kuma so no comment on that
Joy boy on the other hand, I sense betrayal from his own allies and unexpected ally from the enemies, probably not 2 entity but coming from just one, to be exact, Alabasta, part of the world government, but you can't tell me that they are the same with them, even has a glyph hidden and the government doesn't give a crap about it ? or they're hiding it in the first place, if so, why ? isn't them also waiting for Joyboy ? They seems to have a very long history in Joyboy era to even have a glyph with themself YET, being part of the WG, hmm....
Idk how you sense rage from dragon. He's actually said to want peace and doesn't like war. He just looks like he has rage
@@eastsidepb8139 Yea he looks raging I mean, but he also said he want peace that's why I feel like that rage is suppressed
There are so many potential backstories in one piece that if fleshed out will be 10 years of just flashback chapters
I'm so fucking excited for all the backstories 😭
My head cannon, Dragon and Akainu’s flashbacks are connected. With Garp Vs Blackbeard we will get both backstories and some Rocks info. With Kuma I think we lead into the Dragon backstory but also the void Century some. And with shanks we get some Mihawk but also huge Roger and Laughtale info.
Morj always messes up with term "villain".
Speaking of black beards strange body you think him and kuma could be form the same tribe ? Vegapunk said kuma had a special body that’s why he was used for the pacifistas and technically kuma has two df fruit powers one just being a single attack the light beam and the other his df
Skypiea is still my favorite arc til this day.
Theories on Blackbeard
Maybe, except after Kaido's "backstory"
Not too sure lol
There are still sooo many Backstories to be told that we will probably never get told😭😭
Even Just in the Straw Hat Crew there are multiple: who were Nami's and Nojiko's biological parents, Same for Franky.
We can fill in the blanks ourselves.
most of these are SBS level questions like how oda told us kid's backstory in a SBS question
Out of the ones you've mentioned only Nami's backstory is important. Even Oda has stated that he'll dive into revealing Nami's TRUE backstory.
@@pikachu3b366m you don't think Zoro's backstory is important?
What if Akainu is from hachinosu or some shit
Like he saw first hand what the worst pirate crew, the Rocks pirates, could do when they completely take over an island and thats why he completely abhors pirates
The god valley incident which wiped out Rocks happened 38 years before the story, akainu being around 15 when Rocks dies
That situates his childhood around sort of the prime Xebecs era
Morj Oda might have hidden so much in plane sight but you couldnt hide that you have a sore throat
Need a crocodile backstory
We have so many mysteries oda will never be able to reveal it all
That new girl in the recent marine base, people speculate it's Akainu's daughter.
Now this was a good video
A tragic backstory can make sense to give him multiple personalities, now “D.I.D.” Dissociative identity disorder
Dragons wife was an archeologist. Dragon used to be a marine. Garps dream was passed on but something we wrong when Dragons wife was killed. That's my theory on how Dragon became a revolutionary.
We take it for granted but theres a rlly solid chance that Garp os Luffys maternal grandfather, and Dragon took his wifes surname
Y'all who complaint that some One Piece's flashbacks are long better strapped yourself for that Void Century re-told history
Imu might be a modern day character we see in the void century flashback. Good possibility that Imu is immortal.
I am still of the opinion that we could use a real Roger backstory. I know we got to see him reach Laugh Tale, but that was ultimately just a piece of Oden's backstory and a very small piece of Roger's story as a whole. For someone as important to the overall narrative as Roger, arguably 2nd only to Luffy, we really know very little about him.
roger, dragon, shanks, zoro, bb.... so hyped for all the lore :D :D :D
let`s hope we won`t get all the backstorys in a sbs....
If Saul is alive and the man marked by flames, we might get something with him. Probably not a backstory, but at least why he is a D clan member and such, as well as his importance to the story as Saul (or Paul when Jesus renamed him if I'm remembering correctly)
Dragon might potentially have the most tragic flashback but NAH gimme that Roger and Rocks flashback
Dragon and akainu could’ve been teammates
I’ve always thought Dragon story will also give us some perspective over why Luffy it’s the way he is.
The only backstory we need is Bogard's
He is the God of the Blade of this generation
I feel like something happened to Blackbeard to turn him this way. Maybe he once had a group like luffy who he cared for and got betrayed this caused him to shut off the last good part of him and turn him into the person we know now
Wouldn't that be just a repeat of Moria then ?
I feel like Moria is supposed to represent a Luffy that lost hope whilst Blackbeard represents a version where Luffy lost his way and chose the dark path
@@sephikong8323 I don’t think so tbh, bb seems more like a opposite of luffy than Moria.
This may sound weird, but I really hope we see the Gorosei's backstory. There the most mysterious characters in the entire series, I would love to delve into their past lives.
I think there's a chance that Gorosei, Imu and Joyboy are all going to be explained in the same backstory.
@@Glowerer That would be awesome
Another we are almost sure to get is Rock D Xebec and I hope it adds in Kaido’s story too
