Hey man what did you do about the oil pan I know there is that bar going across in front of where the trans would meet the motor concerned it might be in the way with my swap
Great vids 👍 i have a 2013 v6 camaro (LFX) . I have purchased a damaged 2014 Camaro SS (LS3), both are auto . I know i will needs the obvious - Engine, trans , fuel pump , ECU , wiring harness. Is there anything else i would need from the SS ?
@@paskracing77 ok great I know alot of people that will do this mechanically but I think everyone is a little bit worried about the wiring . The ECU will be swapped over . Does this mean my immobiliser will need to be recoded or is that something you swap or if I use the keys to the donar it should work with them ?
Yes used stock pump added a return fitting, using corvette returnless regulator filter, kept it as simple as possible, will be upgrading pump eventually but others have used v6 pump
@@paskracing77 awesome, thanks! did you use the terminators fuel pump relay/wire? And if so did you splice it into a wire going to the stock fuel pump?
Question i have the same engine but i get the 2011 ss v8 wire harness and ecu and fuse box because i want my gauge from my original dash work would you think is going to work or i have to get a programmer for the ecu
Did you have to have custom engine mounts made
That's awesome fella! I plan on doing this to my 2012 Camaro. I would highly appreciate the guidance.
Any time!
What's ur drive shaft setup
What motor and trans along with your drive shaft setup
Can you do A video explaining everything you did
I plan on making a video shortly
@@paskracing77 I would greatly appreciate it
@@paskracing77 how did you do the motor mounts?
Can we get an update on how you did the build?
I'll make a new vid shortly, have the motor tore down at the moment, changing cam and finalizing turbo setup

I'm doing this exact thing to my 2010 v6 camaro is there a away yoy could give little more info on wiring side
I want to do this but with a 8.1 vortec engine.
Can you share with me the v6 pin out. I’m doing a similar swap with terminator x and need to gut the harness and find a few wires.
The electrical wiring part scares tf out of me
What parts could you keep from the v6 and I’m thinking about a ls3 swap for my v6 but idk what I need from the ss
Nothing really is the same from v6 to v8, depends all what your going for
Hey man what did you do about the oil pan I know there is that bar going across in front of where the trans would meet the motor concerned it might be in the way with my swap
You need to change oil pan and pickup tube to a camaro one or a low profile pan

Fuel pumps are the same just change harness and swap engine trans and ecu, if you have a donor car you're all set
@@paskracing77 will I need the Speedo cluster ?
@@raheemkarim9942 if I had a donor car I would swap the electronics like the dash etc. Unless they are the same dashes

Did you use the stock fuel pump or an aftermarket one? Got my engine in about ready to run but trying to figure out the fuel pump

@@johndurica832 yes, used wire from holley fuel relay, ran wires for pump and fuel level up front, using holley dash so needed fuel leve wires also
is the wiring hard
No not bad, for engine management I used holley, everything car related just took my time did research to get everything to work
Do you use the stock trans from the v6?
No v6 trans will not bolt to anything but the v6

Might need programming done not sure, im using all holley not factory
