What motor and trans along with your drive shaft setup
What's ur drive shaft setup
Секс ❤
Hey man what makes the motors super mod ? I’m just new in the game tryna to learn everything
Was a 20hp briggs vanguard block, stock crank, rods, cam and internals were all billet parts, ran on methanol
dose all your electrical work like dash and radio ?
yes factory radio works all windows etc.. gauges i wanted working i had wired up, now im running holley dash so dont have factory dash
What did you change the rear axle to?
I didn't change rear axle, v6 cars that came with manual transmissions have same rear end as the ss camaro if it had the auto transmission then it has the weak rear end
Hey man what did you do about the oil pan I know there is that bar going across in front of where the trans would meet the motor concerned it might be in the way with my swap
You need to change oil pan and pickup tube to a camaro one or a low profile pan
I want to do this but with a 8.1 vortec engine.
Great vids 👍 i have a 2013 v6 camaro (LFX) . I have purchased a damaged 2014 Camaro SS (LS3), both are auto . I know i will needs the obvious - Engine, trans , fuel pump , ECU , wiring harness. Is there anything else i would need from the SS ?
Fuel pumps are the same just change harness and swap engine trans and ecu, if you have a donor car you're all set
@@paskracing77 will I need the Speedo cluster ?
@@raheemkarim9942 if I had a donor car I would swap the electronics like the dash etc. Unless they are the same dashes
@@paskracing77 ok great I know alot of people that will do this mechanically but I think everyone is a little bit worried about the wiring . The ECU will be swapped over . Does this mean my immobiliser will need to be recoded or is that something you swap or if I use the keys to the donar it should work with them ?
is the wiring hard
No not bad, for engine management I used holley, everything car related just took my time did research to get everything to work
The electrical wiring part scares tf out of me
What expansion is that?
Factory just painted
Can we get an update on how you did the build?
I'll make a new vid shortly, have the motor tore down at the moment, changing cam and finalizing turbo setup
vm.tiktok.com/ZMYbE7j59/
I'm doing this exact thing to my 2010 v6 camaro is there a away yoy could give little more info on wiring side
Question i have the same engine but i get the 2011 ss v8 wire harness and ecu and fuse box because i want my gauge from my original dash work would you think is going to work or i have to get a programmer for the ecu
Might need programming done not sure, im using all holley not factory
@@paskracing77 the ss transmission mount on any ls is the same block
What transmission did you use? What motor mounts did you use? My v6 just threw a rod bearing smh and I have 3 5.3 engines that I can put in it but there's no videos explaining how/what's needed.
Use camaro ss mounts for the engine, you'll need an oil pan for an ss also, basically all accessories the ss engine uses bolts on ls engines to make it work, I went with a built 4l80e trans, you'll need to make some mods to fit tranny but it's not bad to do, also had to have custom drive shaft made
Do you use the stock trans from the v6?
No v6 trans will not bolt to anything but the v6
That's awesome fella! I plan on doing this to my 2012 Camaro. I would highly appreciate the guidance.
Any time!
Sounds really good!
Can you share with me the v6 pin out. I’m doing a similar swap with terminator x and need to gut the harness and find a few wires.
Was it hard to find a v8 engine and did it cost alot
Just buy a Camaro
Can you do A video explaining everything you did
I plan on making a video shortly
@@paskracing77 I would greatly appreciate it
@@paskracing77 how did you do the motor mounts?
What parts could you keep from the v6 and I’m thinking about a ls3 swap for my v6 but idk what I need from the ss
Nothing really is the same from v6 to v8, depends all what your going for
Did you use the stock fuel pump or an aftermarket one? Got my engine in about ready to run but trying to figure out the fuel pump
Yes used stock pump added a return fitting, using corvette returnless regulator filter, kept it as simple as possible, will be upgrading pump eventually but others have used v6 pump
@@paskracing77 awesome, thanks! did you use the terminators fuel pump relay/wire? And if so did you splice it into a wire going to the stock fuel pump?
@@johndurica832 yes, used wire from holley fuel relay, ran wires for pump and fuel level up front, using holley dash so needed fuel leve wires also
❤️ 𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕞𝕠𝕤𝕞
part 2 video is now up, just a short clip
All depends what all your doing or doing a stock swap or going for more
Hey thanks for sharing the video and your knowledge, I’m doing the same I have full V8 donor car . Can I just swap everything?
If you have a whole donor car you're laughing, start swapping lol
@@paskracing77 alright thanks bro 😅👍🏽
Is it a hard swap? Or not that bad?
Not hard if you have mechanical experience
Did you use tge v6 transmission
No, v6 tranny is different
So what did you do about wiring
@@tommybrown7499 what part of wiring did you want to know about and I can let you know
Guess all it so i can make sure my inside stuff work or do I just need to get a harness off a v8 camaro
@@tommybrown7499 ok, so... I de-pinned the factory v6 ecm, just kept the bare minimum wires for a few sensors for stock gauges to work, and keeping the v6 ecm the canbus system still communicates with bcm and you keep your radio functions windows etc.. I have since went for holley system that controls transmission and engine management, and I have holley pro dash, so I eliminated having to use factory wiring
Did you need any special mounts or did it fit right in place, im about to put the 5th gen 6.2 L ss engine and manual tranny into my automatic 3.6 v6 5th gen body, any suggestions on the whole thing ??
I just bought whatever parts I needed for an ss, everything bolts in to the v6 body I'll be making an update video shortly
Did you finish the car and is it still running?
Car is almost complete, waiting on backordered parts to arrive
Where da update? Keep pushing 💪🏻 .. Yu pushin me to do the same!
just posted update vid
Ya need a better driver in that mower ngl
Buen dia amigo, ya terminaste es swap? no tienes mas videos, saludos desde leon gto mex.
i will have an update video soon
What is required for the BCM to work with the new ECU
im not using a new ECU, the v6 ECU is still in place just removed all wires for the V6 engine, keeping it connected so BCM and everything communicates and all my functions with the car still operate, i bought full holley terminator system to control engine/trans
About to do the same! if you’ve dropped the engine in, did the stock truck intake fit under the hood?
Engine is in the car now, truck intake will not fit I'm going with the low profile holley sniper intake
@@paskracing77 do you hava to swap the crossmember to a v8 or is the same and do you going to used a v6 tranny
@@thebeast-zf6jb no you don't have to swap the cross member, just need to run the right oil pan on the engine And transmission from v6 will not bolt up, I went with 4l80e trans
@@paskracing77 ok thanks you and the wire harness i need to ge the ss harness
@@thebeast-zf6jb I'm using holley terminator x max for my setup, it's abit easier to to it this way then trying to get factory wiring and ecm to all communicate, programming etc. That's why I went holley plus I'm in the middle of adding turbos now
That thing sounds wicked. Sweet!
This is how we do it in The Netherlands see my channel!!!
Have since sold the sled with stock muffler and have the modified muffler in this video if anyone is interested let me know thanks
paskracing77 interested
@@benjaminrideout9893 still want muffler?
Since then I have sold the sled with stock muffler, i have the muffler that was on sled in this video if anyone is interested let me know thanks
How did you maie it?
He hit the ground hard when his steering wheel came off. Surprised he got up after that.
Why are you bouncing the throttle for? Just wondering.
What size jets did you use? Any other specs available for what you did to the carbs? What kind of can was it?
What's the jetting do you have change both jets ??????
thanks dont forget to subscribe, that mower is done now, will be posting more vids have a couple more to build also
SICK man nice build!
Sounds like my pipe but mines stock(Maybe a little rotten) Actually I think mine might be louder
I hate straight pipes what is the fucking reason for that It just gets u In more shit
