As a professional Game Dev, this is 100% accurate. Bad mental health is detrimental to completing a game. Time management is key and something I struggle with my personal work outside of work. Get it done, and use the fastest methods you can find, but be wise, and organized about your routes. Also always commit to finishing. Reagardless of how painful it gets because you will never finish anything. Your job as a game dev is 99% of the time is to problem solve.

Some very interesting thoughts in this video, some relevant to game dev and others just great advice for life. I have been doing game dev for four years now and sleep has always been a tough hurdle to overcome.

I love your videos and content, thank you for them. One question I have is about how long should you focus on a single aspect or item in the game? I am building a capture the flag game and have spent days trying to figure out how to make it work properly.

Hi. first of all, great video lol. I was thinking about enrolling in the ultimate game development academy. But I have a question. In the course list there are a few courses which are public in UA-cam, I also saw that in your website the courses are longer. My question is if there is any difference between the courses in UA-cam and in the academy (the courses that are in both platforms)

@@awesometuts that made me even more curious! So it is the "jysk Gamborg", if I'm right.
My old gaming chair is broken, so I'm just sitting on an old television armchair with lying function, in some kind of horizontal position, thanks to monitor brackets. Found out, that is much more comfortable for the back, when sitting/lying 10h+ each day.
Thank you for your tutorials helped me out a lot!
