As a professional Game Dev, this is 100% accurate. Bad mental health is detrimental to completing a game. Time management is key and something I struggle with my personal work outside of work. Get it done, and use the fastest methods you can find, but be wise, and organized about your routes. Also always commit to finishing. Reagardless of how painful it gets because you will never finish anything. Your job as a game dev is 99% of the time is to problem solve.
Professional game developer 😂😂😂😂
Thank you for your honesty. I really appreciate the stuff you covered, like having a clear mindset and sticking with a project even when it gets tough!
This is the guy that helped me give the leap to a game programmer, had to watch your C# fundamentals several times but it worked :)
Thank you! would love a tour of the studio too!

Some very interesting thoughts in this video, some relevant to game dev and others just great advice for life. I have been doing game dev for four years now and sleep has always been a tough hurdle to overcome.
Great video, really! The only thing i missed is learning game design, cause even if you have the Best coded game, you Will fail without it. :) Keep making these!
Thanks for sharing!
I love your videos and content, thank you for them. One question I have is about how long should you focus on a single aspect or item in the game? I am building a capture the flag game and have spent days trying to figure out how to make it work properly.

Hi. first of all, great video lol. I was thinking about enrolling in the ultimate game development academy. But I have a question. In the course list there are a few courses which are public in UA-cam, I also saw that in your website the courses are longer. My question is if there is any difference between the courses in UA-cam and in the academy (the courses that are in both platforms)
Love you bro...
I can't decide whether I want to go for IOS development or Game development.
Awesome tut is Awesome
🤯
what is that chair you have?
btw, great studio!
@@awesometuts that made me even more curious! So it is the "jysk Gamborg", if I'm right.
My old gaming chair is broken, so I'm just sitting on an old television armchair with lying function, in some kind of horizontal position, thanks to monitor brackets. Found out, that is much more comfortable for the back, when sitting/lying 10h+ each day.
Thank you for your tutorials helped me out a lot!
Yeah , we want tour
How do u know my problems ?
but my question is what if i am only developing game for my passion, and not to make money. is it worth it to learn game development. i am an app developer but never made my way into the games. Can you suggest me?

2) what are your expectations after your game is finished? like earning money, releasing etc..
@@omerfarukbykl6097 I'm. Thinking to make A shooting game and if this game become good so then I will think to make a open World game and my expectations is not making money , I only learn that how to make game and like that I'm not choosing unreal engine or unity they are hard and the reason I'm making the game in Roblox studio is that I think it is easy to make there 😀
I mean Roblox Studio is pretty easy and it uses Lua which is pretty easy to learn it.
Start with Unity. Just bcs it will be the easyst way + the most help bcs of a big commUNITY.
If you then finished some project you can also try UE and and.
