Thanks for tuning into our mic'd up round with Andrew Fish! The back 9 will be releasing later today. Let us know who you want to see next. Gregg at Smuggs? James at USDGC?
MJ at Hornets Nest Barry at Renny Gold Fish at Sunnyside and Fish at Darkside Dickerson at Harmon Hills Brinster at Warwick Brian Earhart at The Canyons Fish at Moraine Hammes at Rollin Ridge
Gregg at Smuggs would be amazing. He has maybe the best connection of any of the pros to the Fox Run course since that is where he took down the World title. My son and I follow him every year up there and he's such a good guy-really charismatic during the tournament whether he's playing to win or not.
Andrew, this was an absolute treat. As one of my favorite disc golfers, because you throw the comet ;), I loved this. You attack the game in such a different way than most others and it’s very refreshing.
Honestly, I find this type of video much more interesting than most tournament rounds. Fish is the perfect player for this format too. Extremely thoughtful, great course insight, very self-aware. There are so many great courses up and down the east coast, I'd love to just see a series with Fish vs these courses. I don't need player variety. Just a bunch of Fish vs. the course videos please!!
Awesome content. Fish is really good at explaining top level mental game while playing. More of this would be great. Probably even Fish again considering how talented he is at explaining the mental thoughts he is having.
A year later seeing practice round content as trash talking and silly shots this holds up even better......Fish is a LEGEND of practice round explanation. Lets fans understand holes and become more invested.
You have been the best person I've seen that has a detailed explanation of what their brain is processing...as a fellow introvert and detail thinker about the game, I love this. So glad I clicked the video
Love Fishes game. Getting to hear him think through his round is priceless. It’s sure to improve my gam (once I buy a couple more Comets!). This is great. Thanks a LOT!
This is so neat to watch. My wife and I attended as gallery at the Delaware Disc Golf Challenge, 2019.. and you guys were there filming, was an added plus seeing your crew out there. Now, my wife is registered for the "Women's Open of Maryland" in October, that Andrew Fish has put together and will be Tournament Director at.. and to ice the cake.. I hear that YOU(Gatekeeper Media) are going to be filming the event!! Wow, time flies and brings like minds together so quickly. Thanks for this sweet vid, looking forward to Autumn events!
Fish, you beautiful bastard,we love you and your commentary. Keep talking and throwing! Your delightful input and great throws are the chum we avg throwers feed on. Keep It Up !!!!
Love the video! Always been a fan of Fish, even more so after he dropped the F bomb on camera! (We've all been there) also best in the bag ever. 60 seconds is all ya need minus some close ups if you have unique ones
That Fish golf tho! Love the mind of a golfer like Andrew. I LOVE high par courses and watching this is like exactly how I play a round. Knowing how much you can bite off and when. Great golf Fish
Awesome to see this content. First thing I noticed was the 9 yellow commercial lines on the scrubbing bar. Gotta make that money and keep the material flowing! Thanks guys
I’m about hour and 15 mins from this course and just played it last week for the first time ... awesome course to play .. great video ... I ended up +8 for 18 gold long
Really liked this video. Good thoughts on course design taking into account media and fans. I got to attend Waco day 1 this year and it was great. The open half of that course can handle a bunch of fans and it makes a really fun environment. , The wooded half is of course really interesting but is pretty rough for fans if there are more than a handful walking with any given card. Will be interesting to see how courses evolve, but steps that make tour courses more fan friendly I think will be well received.
I just played golds here last Friday, Fish makes it look easy, I shot in the 90's. Usually I play long to short, that makes a great course for my Adv Grd Masters age.
@@andrewfish4179 I second the idea of copying Brodie's "Get Freaky" stamp with your own "Get Fishy" stamp. I know it's derivative and unoriginal (and normally I'm not a fan of things that are derivative and unoriginal), but in this case, I think such a stamp would be a complete hoot and I bet they would sell pretty well too! Especially if you keep making these vids with GateKeeper. I truly believe you are the perfect player for this format and I really hope they lock you in as the featured attraction for this series! Heck, if you and Gatekeeper teamed up and made this a regular series, a Gatekeeper/Andrew Fish "Get Fishy" collab stamped disc could help fund the series!
Nailed it, check out the Upper Park Shift-comfortable and versatile. I think they’re working on new orders for their biggest bag, the Rebel, right now as well.
Andrew, you should try to get together with Brodie Smith and teach him how to use his ultimate skills to his advantage. Seems like you do very well with that and it separates you from other pros.
All of the PDGA National Tour events were cancelled due to Covid. When Covid originally started 3 of the 6 events we immediately cancelled due to the timing. At that point they cancelled the the rest. Now there will still be a tournament later in the year that we will be covering. It just won’t be a NT stop.

Also, I love Fish's mind for the game. Intuitive and cerebral all at once.
Great concept, and Fish is absolutely perfect! Informative and entertaining, well shot, easily one of the best videos I've had the pleasure to watch!
Appreciate the opportunity Gatekeeper! Please ask any follow-up questions below and I’ll do my best to answer!
I'm super happy to see you showcasing one of my favorite courses!! Thanks for the awesome input Andrew! Tear it up this season
Andrew, this was an absolute treat. As one of my favorite disc golfers, because you throw the comet ;), I loved this. You attack the game in such a different way than most others and it’s very refreshing.
Your insights are fascinating, we need a "Fish thoughts" segment or something
Thanks for doing this Andrew! I’ve seen you with earbuds during rounds, what do you like to listen to?
Which, if any, of Iron Hill's holes would make your "Dream 18"? And what are your other favorite predominantly-wooded courses in the US?

Eventually I’m going to run out of ways to say “I screwed that up” if this becomes a series. Thanks for watching!
He is really entertaining without trying at all he's just authentically being himself which is awesome!
Just Fish being Fish. Big F:s✌

One of my favorite courses on earth. A big thanks to Fish for sharing some much insight into his shot selection and disc choice.
You have been the best person I've seen that has a detailed explanation of what their brain is processing...as a fellow introvert and detail thinker about the game, I love this. So glad I clicked the video
Thanks Roger!
Fish is right up there with MJ as one of my favorite players to watch. This video concept is great. More please.
Thanks for this insight Andrew. It's super valuable for people like me who are serious about disc. Gatekeeper, this should def be a continuing series.
Thank you, Andrew, for making this type of instructional/demonstration/thinking guide.
These are the best videos made for learning discgolf! Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you!
Best disc golf pro video I’ve seen in looong time. Keep it up fish.
20:40 I will be forever chilled to the bone hearing Fish talking like a TERMINATRO saying, "Coldly rational" describing his thoughts lol
Loving this. Keep it coming Gatekeeper.. Andrew is perfect for this. Love his insight
Loving this type of video -- first with Simon and now with Andrew. Keep it coming!
Fish’s perspective would work well in tournament commentary. Thanks to all responsible for producing this wonderful video.

Huzzah, glad to have y’all come down!
Absolutely loving these rounds you have filmed with various pros I hope more come throughout the year, so much insight and so well done!:)
"It's either 25 or 0". So relatable lol... those weird downhills where you just can't tell.
Could watch these all day. Great content.
Fish and Gatekeeper, Well done! This is awesome!
Great video. It was very interesting to hear the thoughts of a technician on such a tough course. I learned a lot.
Love his form, so pure.
This is my favorite disc golf related vid ever, and it's not even close...
I love hearing Fish's perspective! He's such a good player and when we get to cover him, he usually has headphones in and is laser focused.
Yeah, that sounds accurate.
Fish, you beautiful bastard,we love you and your commentary. Keep talking and throwing! Your delightful input and great throws are the chum we avg throwers feed on. Keep It Up !!!!

The best disc golf video content I’ve ever seen!
Fish is a gem. This is terrific.

Thanks for watching!
Wow this is great. Fish is a real thoughtfull and solid player.

Thanks for the detailed insights...especially knowing it's not your normal mode when playing. Much appreciated
I’m about hour and 15 mins from this course and just played it last week for the first time ... awesome course to play .. great video ... I ended up +8 for 18 gold long
I love having this as my home course, such a challenging one
I've always said that anyone with Iron Hill as a home course would get really good really fast at disc golf.
I love these, with the pros sharing thoughts and strategy through a course, great stuff 👍
Fish, you had me at "fake Mad Eye Moody"

“I’m going to throw another one and you can’t stop me.” Fish here and me to UDisc on every casual round.
UDisc Pro should include an airhorn you blow on your group’s multi-thrower when they try that crap with a group waiting behind you.
I just played golds here last Friday, Fish makes it look easy, I shot in the 90's. Usually I play long to short, that makes a great course for my Adv Grd Masters age.

Thanks for the online class. Think, commit, execute. *DGUniversity*
this is a great video.
These videos are awesome
You sir are one cool customer. I like your style.
Fish is soo good ☺️
Great content. I would like to see the lines that he is talking about rather than just him. If you can incorporate both, great :)
I love Fish !!!!!
GET ANDREW FISH DOING THESE FOR EVERY BIG TOURNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jeez
Can we get some Get Fishy zones? Thx
Got some tour stamps, scroll back to March on fish58320 on Insta for molds.

Great to see you showcase yourselfe Andrew! That bag looks really cool! What brand is it?
Upper Park Shift
Nailed it, check out the Upper Park Shift-comfortable and versatile. I think they’re working on new orders for their biggest bag, the Rebel, right now as well.
I use Upper Park Shift bag and carry 19 discs easy which is same as my compact Zuca cart.
This was great. Another older player that would be fun to watch ...Mike Moser.
He's maybe more of an introvert than Fish. I would be shocked if he ever did a video like this.
He said “press F to pay respects” 😂

James conrad at the blockhouse ..!!!
What bag are you using?
Fiiiiiiish!
Harry Potter wisdom!!!

What am I gonna tell him that he’s not getting from elsewhere?
Where’s your Bushnell 850?
Why aren't they playing Iron Hill this year?

Your forehand clearly has great power. I'm sure you can put it together with some practice.
Tattoo this on my forehead so I have to see it every day.
