I'm blown away. It's like you're getting two high quality customs, built to a very high standard, and with a host of high quality extras. It might just be my eyes; it looks as though the hair has been improved over the prototype. It's not as green and the natural colour looks a close match to Heath's blonde/mousy brown shade. Inart looks to have set quite a standard, let's hope they maintain this level and never take their foot off the gas. This is great news for collectors, another step forwards. I'm very much intrigued by how the competition will react to this.
The hair was something I was fearing it would come too green, but as you very well said, they nailed the color perfectly. This is as close as you can get from a custom job, done by a licensed company. It’s indeed a great feat by inart. They just need to keep the momentum for the next releases!

OMG!! Looks so good, I can’t wait until I get mine in hand. Unfortunately I went sculpted hair for budgetary reasons but it still gives me a great idea of what I’ll be receiving. Thanks for the video.

It's so refreshing to see 1/6 scale clothes come out the package all Pressed and ironed . Along with those two perfectly rooted hair head sculpts , I was amazed by the clothes really caught my eye.
That’s why I didn’t went all out on articulation. The clothes come pristine, you don’t want to mess them up😅

Inarts is a manufactured custom (way I can explain it). Its a good custom level of quality, but with the robust mainstream build of manufactured. Best of both worlds and as I expected.... Turned out great.

Seeing those magnetic hands and how good it works is so pleasing. Sometimes I feel reluctant to repose some of my Hot Toys because of the wrist pegs but this seems to be fixing that issue for me. Very insightful and thorough review Joao! Didn't expect anything less 😸

Definitely the best 1/6 Joker we've ever had. InArt absolutely delivered, and this is going to be a huge confidence booster for those that were on the fence about some of InArt's other figures.
I'm hoping the obnoxious people that spent so much time complaining about InArt can now stop talking. They were such a toxic and irritating part of the past 9 months. It's like they were upset that people could be excited about anything that wasn't Hot Toys.

This looks really good! I don't collect many 1/6 scale figures (as I don't really have the space) but if InArt made figures of Batman and/or Joker from the 1989 Batman movie, then I might be tempted to pick one up...

Great review! So does he come across slightly cross eyed at all in hand? That's the only thing I see in the pics that has me a bit concerned. Especially since you can't move each eye individually.
Not at all, i have played with both for a few days now, and cant see the crossed eye issue.
Can you imagine Inart doing this with Batman begins! One body for the first night out without the Batman symbol and another body with the full Batman.. easiest 1k I’d EVER spend lol
I'll be perfectly happy with just a BB figure at this standard, and with rooftop diorama to perch him on. If it's a double pack, I like DeanKnights idea of a Demon Batman. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

That’s a statement! And I think you’re right, if we’re taking about licensed releases.
It's certainly right up there. We're getting to the stage where the standards are so high, what becomes the distinguishing factor will be subjective preferences. That is, which look for your Joker do you prefer? Do you want him looking like the Queen Studios 1/4 statue, where he appears as though he's freshly applied his make-up and so you see more of the Joker than you do Heath? Or do you want him looking all messy, with Heath showing up more? Do you want him laughing or looking like he's about to do something nasty? ..... These two sculpts find a very solid middle ground.

It's from the team that did the 1/4 scale from Queen. Remember Queen created Inart for thr 1/6 scale lead by Viper. Can't go wrong, even thought not all statue are made equally. This one is fire, but the 1/4 from queen is the best likeness to date in my opinion.
I have seen the 1/4 artist edition and looks incredible!

Amazing. My only regret on this Joker is that i ordered it too late for the rooted hair version. Got it with TW and they later put the rooted hair back up for preorder.. I just dont trust then enough to ask for a upgrade. Sculpted two pack still looks great tho.

You'd be better off waiting for either someone to cancel their pre-order or deciding to sell their figure. Then, once you have the haired figure, sell your sculpted one. Who knows, Inart might do another run, and if so you could get one from OneSixthKit. I was in a similar situation to you with the 1/4 Queen Studios HL Joker. I wanted the rooted version, but when I received my sculpted one I found that I preferred the styling of the hair and stuck with it.
@@dangiambrone7350 Yeah thats the way to go about it. I dont mind getting the sculpted version. Theres just something about the rooted version. Luckly Its a simple hair cut. I wouldn't mind giving it ago by rooting it myself.. It looks super easy, its just time consuming.. Think i just stick to the sculpted and get a single sculpted version to root myself.. Its kinda cheap the single pack, or great value atleast. Wost case i can send it off to someone that knows what they are doing. or atleast im gonna have spare parts LOL

Good review, Joao! I do have a couple of questions though. You briefly went over articulation, understandably, but can you least confirm if the overall articulation is the same as what Justin showed in his review, for either figure? Do these figures have side-to-side ankle pivot? That wasn’t shown that well in either video. Aside from the head sculpt, I know a lot of people were skeptical about the articulation.
Yes it is bro, its fully articulated, one of the best bodies i ever handled. I know i should have gone further on that, but the suits came so perfect i did not want to mess them up.

Well it is Heath Ledger's Joker. The prototype and subsequent images and videos got many of us excited. Now that the final product has matched, and arguably exceeded expectations, people are very happy. For many collectors until now, and outside of very expensive customs, we have never had a 1/6 figure that's truly captured the likeness of this character. Hot Toys has never come close to replicating HLJ the way they have with their Vito Corleone, DX09 and DX08 Batman and Joker, Jack Sparrow, Yondu and many others.

An oversimplification. It's not just "a bit more detail" though is it? We're getting a much better headsculpt - two of them. We're getting much better hair - texture, colours, styling and rooting. We're getting two lots of PERS, with what looks like a more robust sytem. We're getting seamless and more realistic looking arms and hands. We're getting two excellent, well tailored outfits, which are weathered. We're getting diecast accessories. We're getting a magnetic base. We're getting a very decent diorama - made of wood and metal - which alone could sell for at least a couple of hundred, probably more. And let's not forget the solus pack is only around £285.
The articulation is incredible. Price wise i like to distance myself from all the extras (shipping, taxes), and look at the official release price, that was $790. Thats what i paid, and i think is more than worth for what it is.

"For some metal and some wood". Once again you downplay all of the features and improvements which elevates this far above the DX11. If "a bit more detail" is truly what you see then fair enough. But many of us see a whole lot more.

I should have gotten the rooted, but I had so much stuff on order and bills and not knowing the company yet and how they would do. So I preordered the sculpted version. Now that I see this I should have gone with the rooted, but I have a 400 dollar custom rooted joker sculpt. this will be fine for now. But this looks great
From photos i have seen, the sculpted version looks amazing as well. I would keep your order as it is, and if you have a custom sculpt already, use it.

All I have seen is "ETA 4th quarter 2022", and that was written back in late March, before China had been subjected to lockdowns. For a new 1/6 company to have this, a set of such high quality, out approximately 8 months after announcing it is extremely impressive imo. Other companies often release figures years after their ETA's. Many collectors, myself included, care primarily about quality and don't mind if their pre-orders are a little late.
Its an early figure from their release. During this week most of my friends here in china already got theirs. Inart prioritizes orders made directly through their official website in China.

If I am not mistaken Inart didn't state an edition size but I think it they did say it would be limited and once orders were processed and shipped they wouldn't make more.
