I was skeptical when I first heard people hyping up InArt, but I gotta say they knocked it out of the park with this figure. Hopefully this means we get some more competition in the 1/6 scale market which= better products for us customers.
They have been making statues at a super high end level for years before doing 1/6, so glad they're killing it!
Hot Toys got outdone, I'm glad this company got in the 1/6 scale world since it was in need of innovation and some love, good for them I hope this is just the start

Already got this version on preorder and it looks amazing. Really happy InArt and hot toys are going back and doing the dark knight trilogy figures again. Bane looks incredible and I really hope they do a Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow from batman begins. Hot toys could still do a nurse Joker and think it would still sell well even though this just got released
I hope we get all the characters they missed the first time!
Great review! I think that sculpted hair it's a very good option too, this figure is so realistic and well done that suppose a new milestone in the 1:6 scale industry

I think for those of us who are not keen on all the futsing with the rooted hair, the sculpted version is well and truly good value. I've pre-ordered the sculpted version, and while I loved your video on the rooted hair Joker, your review for this version gives me confidence that I have made a good decision.

I agree. Back when this was up for pre-order I opted for the sculpted. The rooted looks amazing. In optimal conditions, looks better. But it requires a bit more work and skill to look amazing.
In this video for instance, the hair wasn’t looking it’s best (while it was in its own review video).
So happy that I got the sculpted.
Plus, I am not a fan of having multiple copies of the same character, so a two-pack was not very appealing to me.

I think that roting version always gonna be better, but the sad thing its that the roting version for this one only comes in two pack

Agreed! I wish they had done a basic Sculpted hair figure, and rooted single figure, and then finally the Deluxe rooted two pack. I think that would have been the best 3 SKUs to choose from

Yes, you do have the peace of mind that the sculpted hair won't fade, thin or deteriorate. That said, I have many rooted sculpts and they have held up very well over the years. This could be because I barely touch the hair, use product on it and store the pieces in low temperature locations.

I'm still tempted to get this even though I have the rooted double-pack on order. I love the box, how it looks, how small and neat it is. The sculpted version has turned out great, though I would be heating up the hair and using tweezers to get it looking more messy. Great job once again Justin!

want the rooted hair so bad but the fact they locked it behind $1000 2-pack is absurd. especially since they're not doing it for any other figure (aragorn / battinson)

Wow, it's very exciting to see the final product being so close to the prototype! Hopefully going forward InArt will at least live up to the same quality when it comes to future figures. I definitely think competition & having more variety in the market is a good thing for collectors. I wonder what their take on an Iron Man would be like?

rooting ,most of my figure i custom rooted the head sculpt , thor , logan , alita, capitan algren,this joker ,harley quinn etc etc to man

From afar, this eerily looks like real life Heath in person, InArt is doing this figure justice.
I can't wait for them to get the MCU license, doing bearded Cap from Civil War, Tony Stark from Iron Man 1 and 3 and all versions of Black Widow.

Great video and very detailed information on this Heath Ledger's Joker! I love the best Joker ever that Heath Ledger portrait. No one will come close to Heath's Joker. Okay, with this video, I went head and just bought my standard solo this Inart Queen Studio The Joker. I went with the sculpted for financial and marital reasons lol. Just couldn’t justify spending $1,000 on a figure and divorce isn’t cheap :) seriously tho thank you for reviewing the sculpted version which now I’m super confident with my decision and beyond excited to receive 👍

Hey Justin just got this for a steal in my opinion. Got it for about 640 after taxes and shipping so while not cheap much cheaper than others 😂 but with that in mind I think they might’ve went a little too above and beyond and I know that sounds strange but let me explain. The guns being metal, being able to cocked back and even have the magazine taken out is cool but really unnecessary and the metal guns make it hard on the magnetic hands where i would’ve preferred to have plastic guns to make it easier to pose for the figure. Also the magnetic stand is cool and mine works well I’ve figured you have to sort of lean it back. Also the box and the instructions are very fancy which is nice but at the same time really didn’t need to be. all in all probably could of take some of this out and made the figures a bit cheaper but hey it’s a premium figure and it feels like it. I like describing it as apple vs android you can get android phone (hot toy) that’s great great quality and one of the best but then you can get an apple phone that in some aspects isn’t superior or is just as good (inart) but the premium feel of the phone and opening is something the android can’t match. Weird comparison but that’s what I was thinking while opening it 😂

Pound-for-pound you've done very well. This costs $300-350. My rooted double pack could eventually cost me around $1500 once I factor in the shipping cost and import tax.

The paint on the rooted head sculpt seems to be a touch nicer than the sculpted. I’m curious to see others in hand images to see if this is just variance in the product line, or if the rooted version was just given a bit more attention to the paint
They’re hand painted I guess so there will be some variance
It was a similar story with the sculpted hair on the Queen Studios 1/4 Heath Ledger Joker statue. The styling was great but the hair was only two colours - dark brown and dark green - and it was more brown than it was green. I decided to add depth by adding a lighter shade of green and some dark blonde highlights. I would probably do the same thing if I purchased this.

The part with the other figure comparisons the jokers eyes are janky af. I removed the pers to adjust them independently because I had the same problem.

Anyone having issues with the magnets? I've had a magnet come out of a hand piece (likely glue has come loose) and I'm finding the Magnet base really unstable given the weight of the figure.

I just like the right eye makeup where the black goes up and the color of the red on the lips more on the older version but the inart version is superior to me in everything else. Not that it’s makeup isn’t good just isn’t my preferred choice

Regarding the comparison between the DX11.... While there has been advances in some areas, the age of the Hot Toys Jokers is mostly irrelevant, as is the scale when it comes to the accuracy of the sculpt. The skill of the artist and the amount of time they were given to iterate is what really counts. The likeness of the DX11 is not as good as other figures Hot Toys produced around the same time - Jack Nicholson Joker, DX09 Batman, Jack Sparrow, BD Robocop etc. Hot Toys has never truly nailed Heath's likeness, they have provided great sets (where the DX11 really shines), that's why so many of us have gone down the custom route. Viper/Inart have got much closer here.
