Any updates on the blocked off hood vent?
Not at the moment. I just used black gorilla tape on the bottom side and foam adhesive around the circumference of the vent. It doesn’t leak and seems to. Hold up well

Looks great! When I move away from my project F32, my hope would be an F87 comp, and would want to put this hood on it. The OEM hood is ridiculously expensive, and LOVE the carbon fiber GTS hood on my F32 now! Well done!

Great video! I didn’t see it in the comments, and don’t recall you mentioning in the video, but what is the weight difference between OEM and this hood? I saw that the Suvneer hood is 20 lbs. so I’m curious if it’s heavier, lighter or the same weight as OEM. Thanks!
This one is also aluminum, it is half the weight of the oem hood
