Good info on the tires. Great prices too for 14 ply. As for the flat spots , that's due to turning the trailer with the tires not rotating as you turn. that means your dragging a locked tire around in the turn causing tread damage at that spot. Tell driver to make sure those trailer tires are rotating as he makes his turns.

I have the same problem with the tires on my trailer; wear marks almost the same. I'm not convinced the problem is 180' turns OR breaking. I did find some alignment and suspension issues and fixed that. Waiting now to see how the tires wear. Have you discovered anything further on what caused the odd wear on your tires?

90% of that tire wear is from making 180 degree turns and not moving while doing that. The other comes from running over curbs
