    It’s less noisy than the zoom! That’s pretty cool 👌

      I was definitely surprised by the mic quality, especially the onboard microphone. Truly a game changing device!

    genuinely i think you have everything it takes to be a successful youtube channel, only thing i can think of is working on speaking to the camera. I'm guessing you're behind the camera more than being in front of it. BRING THAT CONFIDENCE OUT, and give us the 1,2,3 main selling points and what it can do for us and why we should by. Love the content!

      Thanks brother, I truly appreciate that! And yeah I'm most definitely behind the camera 137% more than in front! 😅

    You should also try comparing the audio that was recorded to the camera and the audio that is recorded to the transmitter. I always find the transmitter audio to be noticeably better.
    Also, the audio recorded to the camera is not 32bit as it is on the transmitter.

      For sure. So when I had initially completed the test, I noticed that having it set without a camera preset within Rode Central made the volume into the camera pretty rough. This was being filmed through the 3.5mm input in the FX3's audio handle (Input 3.) So I changed the preset to A7S III and manually turned the gain on the handle for input 3 to "1," and boy, she was clean as a whistle! I THINK it's because the Rode mics are pushing out such a strong signal even when lowering the gain.
      I do plan to do a follow-up video in a few months retesting a bunch of things + timecode (still haven't gotten a response back from Rode.)
      For all future uses of this, I'll probably still just keep the receiver on my camera cage. Call me paranoid, but I usually don't like to use the internal recording from neither the body or the handle with the exception being an XLR mic. I currently use the Sony ECM-XM1 which comes bundled with the Sony XLR-K3M system. The mic itself is currently only $114 and it sounds great especially for run-and-gun type stuff. You can find it here (affiliate link:) amzn.to/3Ljx43I
      You'll need to still buy a windscreen if you don't already have one, this looks like it'll work fine (affiliate link:) amzn.to/3RzzrmX
      **Please note: I'm just including links for the future in case anyone else ever reads this comment some day and can't remember the model of that tiny Sony shotgun mic (I have to look it up almost everytime 😅😅!) and am 1,000% not trying to hard sell you on this cheap XLR mic. 🙂

    Looks like a nice product! I was hearing the recording being on the verge of clipping, but I don't know why since you recorded it very low level. Could just be my imagination.

    I am a DJ and I have tons of requests for remote ceremonies that have no power. I currently have the Rode Wireless 2 and an LD Maui to go battery powered speaker, so I can be in anywhere and not need power for 6hrs. ( Longest ceremony was an hour and 45 min) I do have an issue with getting a weird buzz only using the Rode Lav 1's, with out the lav, is great. Anyone use these for live PA such as Wedding Ceremonies?

    • @cinematicmoney
      @cinematicmoney  11 місяців тому

      You can try these: (affiliate link) amzn.to/3PyVN6h
      They're clip on noise removers. But while I will greatly appreciate you ordering these through that link, before you order anything, make sure that the Rode Wireless Go IIs are up-to-date and make sure that "Pad" is turned off. I believce it's a setting within the Rode Central app. That helps to level out audio if it's too close to someone's mouth, but in doing so, can affect the ability to turn it up without introducing noise since it lowers the intial signal to avoid people overpowering the mic.
      Let me know how it goes either way! 🙂

      @@cinematicmoney The Rode's just the new latest firmware yesterday, will be using them this weekend. I think the "pad" only pertains to when recording to the transmitters, Not going to the Reciever in live PA in my case. I will check out the link. Thank you

    Did you experience any signal interference or a lot of noise like the wireless go ii? This was a huge problem with the previous version.

    • @cinematicmoney
      @cinematicmoney  11 місяців тому +1

      I have not. Everything seems basically perfect. Just need them to make a white version for hiding under a dress and I’d use these to record a wedding. (Never wireless though! No wireless at weddings!)

    Thank you sir.
    But let me ask you a doubt. I want to use it as a wireless hands free mic.Therefore as it is not UHF system ,will not the signals from mobiles etc. systems in the vicinity ,interfere when I use it as a public address system ( not for camera recording) .

    • @cinematicmoney
      @cinematicmoney  7 місяців тому

      That I’m not too sure about. I don’t think mobile phone should interfere as during recording you usually don’t see any interference in public, and being that these are such popular devices I can’t imagine it not being heavily reported if it were an issue.
      However, I’d also argue that for public speaking there are probably better options out there which would be dedicated solutions for live speaking. If not live, you could just use the built-in recording features since you don’t need a camera or computer to utilize this microphone.

    How many microphone can you use?

    • @cinematicmoney
      @cinematicmoney  11 місяців тому

      Two mics per receiver as the receiver only has two channels.
