A hot and spicy Switch take is Nintendo producing a true handeld gaming console and not another handheld media device. People complain about not having: a music player, netflix, internet browser, ect. but I feel how Nintendo innovated the DS with the 3DS, they're recreating the GBA with the Switch Lite. Also, by not including a manual with Switch games removes a step from the secondary market of CIB collecting, first party Nintendo games are easy so you shouldn't need a manual (except for Zelda), and as a result of this we really should be getting better internal case artwork and game card artwork (like what Max has been saying).
It doesn’t cost Nintendo to have games sitting around. If you want it they set the price, pay or don’t pay, why would they care. McDonald’s sells the same burger for 70 years, price just go up and up not down.

really hot take. i do own a pro controller but i enjoy playing with the joycon grip a lot more. it just feels perfect.
N64 was def not mid, for it's time it was revolutionary, it brought classic Nintendo IPs into 3D for the first time and I'm pretty sure it was the first consol with 4 player capability which was huge back in the day especially for games like mario kart, mario party, smash and golden eye. That system was a game changer.
And metacritic is not everything but Ocarina is still the highest rated game. And I personally do think Star Fox 64 is the best out of the franchise
I cannot tell you the amount of childhood I got from Smash 64 and Diddy Kong racing (far better than Mariokart 64 if you want another hot take).
@@gummilad2 Totally forgot to mention diddy kong racing, what an awesome game that deserves a sequel The battle modes were so good I loved the hovercrafts and stealing eggs! You wouldnt be the first to say it's better than Mario kart and in a lot of ways it is but having both is great!

I agree with a lot of these gripes, i do def think platforming wise, DK country does it better, especially the originals and especially the sequels. DK64 was def superior to mario 64 as well, but calling Mario 64 not a good game is a bit harsh. I think it`d be more fair to say that mario 64 just hasnt aged very well. But whether you think its good or bad, it needs to be respected for the ground that game broke. As far as the switch goes, i love it and I actually like the Ui. I like it because its simple and ez to navigate, but it def is not the prettiest i`ll agree. My only gripe with switch, is it has to be one of the most antisocial modern consoles i`ve ever seen. You can`t even message anyyone lol.....and oh god, ill take joycon drift over rod anyday. I bought 3 360s back in the day and everyone rod`d. Thats when I ditched MS and never went back. My longest running 360 was 3 and half years, and that was cus it was modded with cooling fans

Had to leave another comment. Smash Brothers is easily the worst game franchise people act like is good. The game is terrible. It is for simple minded 6 yr olds. Game play is terrible, visually it’s terrible, and what is with the so called story? Y’all just keep mashing those buttons and magically flying back up on that platform at random.

Truthfully I don’t know what more could’ve been added. The comments were added into the video with some gameplay added into the video.
