First party games are not that important. People always talking about console exclusive and first party games. A game is a game, it doesn’t matter who makes it. If people want content, play some games, branch out. Otherwise go dark, there isn’t anything forcing videos to be made. There have been too many good games to buy them all so far this year.
While I do agree that their are plenty of games to play, people watch Nintendo content creators for Nintendo content. They could play other games but its not going to get as many views compare something like the next Pokémon or 3D Mario. Also worth mentioning that console exclusives are basically the whole reason you buy a console in the first place. Otherwise no one would bother buying them.
@@Mymy_64 mostly only no lifers own all the consoles unless it’s their job. People choose a console and play games they like. Majority of gaming public have no idea who makes a game, nor do they care.
@@Earthling247 That's not entirely true. They may not know the studio specifically but they know the company who owns them. If there was no exclusives, everyone would just be playing on PC.

I watch a lot of channels that do the traditional gaming channel content of conventions, game hunting, collection videos, unboxings, game plays ect..which to me are all great to watch which I know u do these types of videos too. I think as long as people create a video that interests them they’re will be people willing to watch it. What has been nice is seeing some of my favourite UA-camrs branch out this past year and really create genuinely thought provoking videos and also lots of fun videos outside of there comfort zone which has paid off for them. This topic has been spoken about over the last two years by many UA-camrs I watch videos have been created about the switch dying, yes it is at the end of it’s life cycle and yes Nintendo is dragging it out but there is always something to talk about u just have to discover it for yourself. Take care and keep creating people will watch.
this year "is not strong" and then we have Kingdom Come Deliverance and Unicorn Lord, and we are just 1/4 of the year.

No! I just wanted to show the people what other content creators have struggled with this year because we all have such similar audiences.
Like I said we do so much more compared to other channels out there I’m not too worried about it.

Per Nintendo's FY23 report, they're supporting Switch through 2028, so not exactly "dying" anytime soon. While people will move on to the next system by 2024-2025, I'm still optimistic for Switch for the next year or so.
I can’t speak for what it looks like in person but based on what I could see the t-shirt looks fine. Most of those types of t-shirts are made to be a little loose so I think if it’s one u really like and u feel comfortable doing so u can still wear it out and enjoy it some more. Take care

Same here, Max and Nintendo this year is just remakes basically. But I’m excited for Switch 2 to make more Nintendo content.
Yeah, things are definitely slowing down. But I doubt their going into the second half without one major first party holiday title(whether Prime 4 or another Mario Party). Also the reason we're getting Luigi's Mansion 2 is basically because of Mario movie and the fact 2 is a prequel to 3 and a lot longer compare to 1 so people will not have a much more easier time getting into 2, it also helps them experience the series more like Pikmin.

The Switch is long overdue for an upgrade so it's no surprise. I agree we're likely to see more remasters/remakes announced on the Switch in the mean time.
I never believe any rumors anymore unless it is confirmed or published by a trustworthy source, such as Nintendo themselves
The biggest concern for switch 2 is going to face emulation for those games in less than a year after release.
If the switch is dying the the Playstation 5 and Xbox series X is already dead. The switch just moved over 70,000 units in Japan.
I mainly play my ps5 and steam deck now😢 But when next gen Nintendo is here I will definitely buy
for me the switch and ps4. i will get a ps5 come july

The Switch aint dying. That's just hyperbole to say it's the end of the product's lifecycle and the easy low-effort news based content is drying up for the hype machine channels. People love to board the hype train and feel like they're in the know, but the most creative content producers I watch are the ones finding and sharing the value in yesterday's news.
well the switch did had a great run. there some games i wish they where on the switch like robocop GTAV and a tactical shooter like ghost recon or MGSV but im thankful my #1 superhero batman is in the switch.
Right now there's only 2 games on all systems that I'm looking forward to and that's thousand year door and stellar blade. I decided I'm not gonna double dip on luigis mansion. Dark moon is enough for me.

I mean I think is the point for you to transition out of just one console. Many channels over the years have based their brand on a console. And a lot of them try to rebrand when the next console comes. I think that is the move to make for your channel atm. Not saying abandon Nintendo but maybe make videos on older Nintendo consoles or games. Whether that’s collecting vids or something similar to a Retro Rebound but only for Nintendo games. That can keep you channel going while broadening outside of switch which lets say 5 years from now won’t be relevant.
🤔 My Nintendo Switch is just fine. I just got it the beginning of 2023. I am having a great time collecting games at a lower price. I appreciate the people who have made walkthrough videos - so I don't agree with you.
Don't tell me, YOU WATCH L-L-L-L-L-LONG P-P-P-PLAYS?!?!?!?! No..... Youre completely disregarding the hard work and effort the developers put into their game design by watching walkthroughs that help you get through the game when they intended you to use trial and error to explore various options of progression! That is just simply insulting! How could you do this to their creation, what is wrong with you victoriaschool4607?! Please, for the love of god and all that is holy, give the developers a chance!

@@catchet1 I am a senior, and a light weight gamer. I get stuck sometimes and I appreciate the people who do walk through in sections. It helps me get unstuck or to know what will kill the boss I am struggling with.

First Party games…. Third party games do not count because Nintendo did not make them.. this should be so obvious…

I just do other things sometimes like the game hunting, conventions, unboxings that these other switch channels don’t do which makes the channel so great and unique.
You should give Max some credit for not making endless videos on Switch 2, based solely on speculation.
