He was trying to be a professional musician and songwriter while John wanted to go do drugs with Yoko and George wanted to go make George music. (Can’t blame George for that honestly.) but I can definitely see where Paul was coming from being like “John are you sure you want to talk about doing drugs in front of the cameras?” “John how about we have some new material for the album we’re supposed to have in the can in 5 weeks?” Very sensible frankly.
In the Get Back documentary I'll never forget seeing Paul looking at John a little sharp when John started his story about getting stoned the other night and you could see John looking somewhat cautiously at Paul. That was the only time I ever heard and saw Paul become annoyed at "Mr. Lennon..."
Yeah, damn right, because he'd JUST FINISHED the best double album of all time and frankly John's contributions were 100% better than Paul's. Why do one five months later? Eff off, Macca. Take a chill pill..
@@silasmarner7586 THAT, I think, is the sole cause of all this tension and strife. The guys should have taken as much time off as they needed. Then again, maybe that would have aided the break up.
yeah, can't blame George at all! He had so much great material that he just felt in his bones. His material was pretty much always absolute class
I think they might be sort of acting here (😂 they are looking up at the microphone used to record them) but it reflects one of the primary tensions in the Beatles, John is a more instinct songwriter, natural, emotional, raw and undisciplined, whereas Paul is a more methodical, pattern based, disciplined writer. And that duality together can be powerful but it no doubt brings tension.
Thank you, amongst this seemly endless chaos, was a very serious process that produced some wonderful songs.
Creativity doesn't always look orderly, but a series of random unrecognisable actions and thoughts accumulating in results.
This is mind blowing really…these guys were actually very comical aside from brilliant ✨✨
Look closely when they start talking, Yoko isn't there. She then see's them talk and immediately comes in. John and Paul had no privacy.
You are absolutely right! She was so jealous of Paul, George and Ringo
@@dorisludtke7891Especially Paul
Ýoko les quitó toda su privacidad a los muchachos...
@@gretchennelson7056Paul was a threat. She took every opportunity to keep them apart. In 1974 John was going to record with Paul with support from May Pang. The second he got back with Yoko he all of a sudden couldn’t do it. The anti Yoko hate used to be too much but now it’s gone too far in the opposite direction. She deserves to be disliked by Beatles fans as she kept the engine of the band apart. Why should Beatles fans respect her when she didn’t respect the band?
@@ewest14Whats the point? The band is long over and wont come back. No one gets nothing for hating Yoko.
Paul was the only one not joking
Ya porfavor pongan a la venta estas joyas.
Love them hamming it up for the cameras
Even if its not true i choose to belive ringo was just saying "fuck off" over and over at the end
Hahaha... speaking it into the mic
