Lennon’s version had plenty of raw emotion also, *more* feeling would be more accurate (I’m probably just being nitpicky). And yeah I’m not ignoring what he did but this is indeed about music. His legacy isn’t harmed much by his actions mostly because of his repentance of sorts just before his murder. But again.. his *musical* legacy
