My mum died two years ago and in the hospital there was a Filipino nurse and he help so much, when she passed away he stood over her and prayed. i have so much respect for the Filipino people they're special😇 people
To be honest when foreigners come to the Philippines you are respected. When filipinos goes abroud we get discriminated. This is based on my experience since i came from abroad and stayed for 9 years
People staring at you because they admire you...being beautiful..nothing to worry about ...Filipinos are friendly and hospitable wherever you meet them.
being stared at small town or area is something that happens to Filipinos as well. Once you are in place and they realized you are not a local people will look at you with curiosity and a lot of times to check if one is in need of help.
Your line of questions makes sense. Thanks for sharing. The 2nd spanish lady is amazing saying that the Philippines is her country.. happy to hear that.
When people stare it's not out of disrespect or any malice. Generally from what I've experienced most Filipinos are curious and are very extroverted and want to talk to foreigners.
I know sometimes it is unsettling when people are staring at you, rest assured there is nothing malicious or mall intent. It is even more prevalent in the rural areas when caucasians, no Filipinos are rarely seen. If you try to start a conversation they well welcome you, some may not talk to you because by nature Filipinos are shy to foreigners
These ladies gave some really good answers Alex very safe to travel the Philippines for the most part you just have to know where to go and be smart about things 🆒🆒👍👍😎😎
On foreigners being stared at, filipinos love beauty and looking at beautiful things. Filipinos, specially the guys, find foreign girls to be very beautiful and attractive because of their fair skin and hair. This is the corrupting influence of western (American) commercials and movies. But looking is all that they can do for they find them to be too rich for their taste, physically larger and probably high maintenance. Reminds me of the old days when people still eat dogs, they have no problem with the domestic variety but with the foreign breed is too valuable and almost sinful to eat. (bad analogy)
Hi Alex..I am Filipino from Canada.. I am visiting Spain.. currently in Madrid the people here smiles and very helpful. We will be travelling to Barcelona next week. Love your content,. Very good vibes.
My husband and I will be moving to the Philippines in December to retire.. done paying tax in Canada Eh! Lol! It’s time to enjoy life! And Philippines is the place to be!
It’s amazing that, Spanish woman are coming to the Philippines. Do you know that one of the oldest Brandy Fundador is owned by a Filipino Company Alliance Global Inc. which is the umbrella company of Megaworld.
Shy and curious thats why they stare. They are observing because thats their trait. Not bad and safe really, they are more like background check for your own safety too most of the times. So dont be afraid of the locals doing this. Just hello and talk to them. It works most the time, and they might be shy at first and awkward😂
I have listened to several female solo travelers share on UA-cam their experiences traveling the world. All of them early in their traveling experiences would say I feel safe or I'm a smart traveler and the horror stories they hear from other female solo travelers have never happened to them.....until it happened to them. All of them eventually experienced being harassed in some cases assaulted and there were nobody around to help them. It was only a matter time when they would drop their guard when the predators watching them saw an opportunity to take advantage of them. A rule of thumb for solo travelers - there is safety in numbers.
and here we are. we are Filipinos living in California and thinking of going home to retire or going to Spain to retire because our kids live in Europe.
Maybe it is more of a hustle than a scam, but yes its a bit annoying even for us Filipinos. Even us experience this, like it will be more expensive depending how you look or if you are riding an expensive car.
the spanish girls pronounces places in the ph really good moal boal especially the first foreigners i heard pronounces it perfectly even better than those living in the ph for years and can carry conversations in bisaya or tagalog. it's sexy i luv it!
When you're foreigner in the Philippines you should have nothing to worry about except accident while travelling, however, crimes against foreigner is almost 1% to none. One thing also is to be just respectful to locals and acting all stupid might just get you somewhere unpleasant.
The reason why many Filipinos were staring at those foreign, they wanted to approach foreign but afraid, they get misinterpreted, some Filipino were shy
Hey Alex, I see that you are in a new location. Based on the buildings and the surrounding areas, it looks like you are in one of the Gulf countries. Are you in Qatar?
Don't they get it? It's the history Spain rule Philippines for the past 400 years then the Americans came that's why Filipinos missed Spain and the former American colony.
I was in the airport once when i overheard some women speaking in french? I went over out of curiosity and ask if they were french. One said yes but with a rather hostile voice and a F U like warning. Being the asian dude i am i just said OK and left. I doubt i would ever approach a foreigner with that aura again.

Pretty white girls are out of reach for average white guys, or even above average these days. That would be really rare. Maybe a decade or more ago when their perceived market value was not sky high.
@@franklyntrades9 I don’t doubt it. It does take about three years in the US to get permanent green card status. That still does not guarantee citizenship and I doubt he/she can sponsor relatives without citizenship.
