Ang aking limang sentimos para sa clip na ito. Although the channel name says Simple Street Interview, however there should have been additional questions prior to the main agenda of the video. 1. Do they know anything about the Philippines prior to their arrival or stay? If yes, where or what medium did they got the information from? 2. How long does the interviewees have been staying in the Philippines? 3. Where did the interviewees have been in the Philippines? 4. What was the reason that they stayed late night? 5. Catcalling and other forms of harassment depends on number 3. The response of the interviewees does not really represent the whole Philippines as most seems to have been in designated financial and commercial districts only (Makati and BGC). BGC was privately owned and have its own rules and a lot of strategically located peace and order or security personnel. Same goes if they were only within the vicinity of Makati's highly developed areas (CBD).
I would like to point out, the Texan girl mentioned that her friend was asked how old she was. In the Philippines people can look younger than their age so probably the reason why he asked, and her mentioning about braces; in the US people who have braces are young people about 20 and below or in their teens. People who are older almost never opt to have braces, but usually used other methods to correct or beautify their teeth. In the Philippines people at any age still used braces to straighten their teeth. So the person who was asking was just trying to make sure that he is not going after someone who is underage
In western country specially the US asking age of a girl still considered creepy questions cos there are a lot of perverts there it's totally different in the philippines i never been in the US but im using app i met many western people so im quiet familliar with that you should expose yourself to western culture so you'll have knowledge not only just having an opinion
In all honesty, every location in the world has the potential to be safe. It is the unpredictable actions of certain individuals that can create an unsafe environment.
here is my answer, as a filipino ,,,, safety will depend on the environment.. atleast here in the philippines, i can say taht walking in a highly urbanized streets or places like BGC, Makati, Pasay , Quezon city is much safer than walking in a place like Manila or any other places.. Davao also is a safe place,,, i cannot totally say that philippines is safe to foreign women.. but ofcourse, you cannot generalize the people,, And also, you cannot compare MOSCOW to MAKATI , moscow is almost the size of cebu island, or even bigger so ofcourse , we can record more crimes there than makati which is just a very very tiny component of metro manila .......im from cebu city, we are also a highly populated city in the philippines , but in crime rate, we are much safer than metro manila , our city is one of the safest city in my country, but despite that, i cant say that we are totally a crime free city, thats why i encourage foreigners who wants to visit my country to be more sensitive ,active and prepared ... and also, if you want to visit philippines, please dont think that you are visiting newyork or singapore,,, philippines is philippines,, you will meet different kinds of people, different attitude,,, but whether you encounter positive or negative things while visiting my country ,please avoid generalizing them. if you meet good people, dont think that all people are good. if you meet bad people dont think all are bad......but one thing is for sure, we also want peace for my country we also want safety for our people and our visitor..
Some areas are not safe there are snatchers and pick pocketers especially in crowded areas but catcalling is not a thing here in phils very rare especially for foreign women
My office mate went to moscow once when she was still in college for a school field trip. She was pushed from behind and one of her friends got her foot intentionally stepped upon by russian, with no apology given. Some even shouted some rude words at the Filipino students.

How about some foreign American vloggers who live in Quezon City. They haven't been mugged or something. Not all places are safe and unsafe. It depends on where and what time you go. Don't expect that you'll be safe when you're walking alone at midnight in a dark deserted areas. Use common sense at all times and in every situation.

@@audreyDsouza Then why not go instead to those countries you mentioned, and avoid Philippines altogether. I'm sure you'll be safer there. Philippines is a 3rd world country, with millions of poor people, so naturally there'll be lots of scammers, pickpockets, petty thieves and they will do anything to survive. Even us locals are cautious here. This country is not for the faint hearted. You have to be smart, street savvy and has a common sense if you want to survive here.
If anything, disrespecting women here in the street is unheard of because aside from the law against catcalling and leering.. many concerned citizens will call you out or jump at you for your audacity to do that, especially if the woman is just minding their own business. It is actuallly one of the safest places to be.. except when you are involved in crime organizations or whatever. However, it doesn't mean that we are crime-free. The best to do always safe where ever you go, dnt go alone specially dark place
In some part of Philippines yeah..like BGC,MAKATI , ROCKWELL or somewhere in the city.but not provinces
Nice enterview Philippines safe for foriener woman pilipino friendly loving respect foriener thanks u guys choice my country Philippines good comment my country god bless stay safe
Philippines is safer than here in america nowadays. People carry guns in america and off course it’s safer in the Philippines because there’s a lot security guard everywhere you go. Philippines is beautiful country what else can you say? As you can see people from other countries they come visit but they ended staying.
Am glad and grateful that many have good comments about our country the Philippines to the glory of God❣️🙏
Same goes if they were only within the vicinity of Makati's highly developed areas (CBD).
just saying this is great content sending support mate
Thanks, idol! Stayed tuned!
Hi, in this content, i'm more amused with the interview to the French girl/woman, she's the most lovely than the others😍😍😍
GREAT VIDEO, NIC TO EE ANOTHER TEXAN HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES.
Thanks for watching!
It depends in what area/neighborhood in the Philippines you are going to
The 2 Vietnamese girls has good answers..
Can't understand them well
I would like to point out, the Texan girl mentioned that her friend was asked how old she was.
Still creepy though
In western country specially the US asking age of a girl still considered creepy questions cos there are a lot of perverts there it's totally different in the philippines i never been in the US but im using app i met many western people so im quiet familliar with that you should expose yourself to western culture so you'll have knowledge not only just having an opinion
Still creepy
Hahahaha yeahhh but it was foreigner they'll don't look young😅
Good day..nice one..
Davao also is a safe place,,, i cannot totally say that philippines is safe to foreign women.. but ofcourse, you cannot generalize the people,, And also, you cannot compare MOSCOW to MAKATI , moscow is almost the size of cebu island, or even bigger so ofcourse , we can record more crimes there than makati which is just a very very tiny component of metro manila .......im from cebu city, we are also a highly populated city in the philippines , but in crime rate, we are much safer than metro manila , our city is one of the safest city in my country, but despite that, i cant say that we are totally a crime free city, thats why i encourage foreigners who wants to visit my country to be more sensitive ,active and prepared ... and also, if you want to visit philippines, please dont think that you are visiting newyork or singapore,,, philippines is philippines,, you will meet different kinds of people, different attitude,,, but whether you encounter positive or negative things while visiting my country ,please avoid generalizing them. if you meet good people, dont think that all people are good. if you meet bad people dont think all are bad......but one thing is for sure, we also want peace for my country we also want safety for our people and our visitor..
tagalogin ko nalang heheh...sa lahat ng nag koment dito ito yong may mas magandang komento.
@@jaibelampoloquio4836 thank you maam
surprising to see so many foreign females.. i thought it would be mostly older men visiting
speaking as an older male who wants to go
@PanayFun exactly. I am 66 We all want younger more traditional ladies
Far more foreign men out here. Foreign women were few and far between.
I'm Thai, I'm here. Ive seen lots of young foreign women and men here.
In Provinces has a lot of foreign older men probably because of retirement...
On the islands it’s more younger western women. Totally different. Like Bali.
Nice i love the channel❤ watching from GUAM 🇬🇺
Thank you for watching kababayan!
The curacao mnt had won the 2019 edition of the kings cup of soccer in thailand.
Some areas are not safe there are snatchers and pick pocketers especially in crowded areas but catcalling is not a thing here in phils very rare especially for foreign women
I been here in Moscow almost a decade, Moscow also nice and safe place . Nice people
Yeah, one of the nicest cities in the world. So much safer than any US city.
My office mate went to moscow once when she was still in college for a school field trip. She was pushed from behind and one of her friends got her foot intentionally stepped upon by russian, with no apology given. Some even shouted some rude words at the Filipino students.
Alexandra is pretty. I hope she enjoys her time in our country.
Thank you so much.
Hi,good pm welcome in philippines i'm happy to meet you....
Good interviews bro. General you interview the foreigner between Makati and BGC. This is our economic hub , compare to NewYork. Nice place all you mentioned bro. Try to go outside makati and BGC ..
Just subscribed your Channel from a Filipino OFW!
The French girl is very cool
Good info , outside the Makate not really safe unless with a local
How about some foreign American vloggers who live in Quezon City. They haven't been mugged or something. Not all places are safe and unsafe. It depends on where and what time you go. Don't expect that you'll be safe when you're walking alone at midnight in a dark deserted areas. Use common sense at all times and in every situation.
interesting topic finished it up to the end
and love the vietnamese lady in brown shirt
I got scammed 4 times when I wanted to go to an island in the Philippines.. in the Philippines you are only safe in elite areas but not in other areas.. my camera was stolen on the side of the road even though there were many people there but they just looked without helping..
Yeah that's the dark side of the Philippines lol the media only shows the good parts, and i think you probably encountered some badjaos when you got scammed
@@freakycrusader yup.. most of the agents to go to the islands are through badjao people.. their skin is a little darker compared to other filipinos ethnicities..they look fierce🙈
When you're going to the Philippines do some extensive research and planning first. One have to be street smart and use common sense in all things and in every situation. If you're one of the dumb tourists go to Japan or Singapore instead.
@@krizzyDeleon1850 for your information i am half asian and i can speak more than 5 languages including tagalog but that doesn't make a guarantee that i won't be scammed.. they all seem like good people and convincing with stalls and receipts but at the end of the story they are scammers.. I consider it as an experience, the sky is not always clear right.. Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Taiwan, South Korea are safe places because I don't have any problem of being scammed or blackmailed there👌
@@audreyDsouza Then why not go instead to those countries you mentioned, and avoid Philippines altogether.
Wow, the interviewer is multilingual. Nice.
Still, keep your guard up because there could be a few criminals you might encounter anywhere.
Just don't go alone to be safe in any place Rule of thumb don't display your valuables and don't get drunk you'll be an easy target
These people love our country.
Go to Panglao, boracay, siargao.
That french girl is amazing!
all this time i thought paris was safe because some people want to go there. want to do some romantic getaway
safe to swim on shallow waters than to brave the deep. well lit places over dark isolated corners.
The problem lies in the corrupt people in government agencies and airports where thieves and robbers abound putting the Philippines in a bad light.
No country is perfect... Even rich countries had some corruption issue, thieves and robbers... Paris has a high rate of robbery and thieves... Us also has issue about travelers luggage... Everywhere anywhere can happen... That's why safety is important when traveling....
So true, sometimes filipinos treats foreigners betters than our kababayan haha
and that's the question 😅
Two ladies were just towering him. how tall are they? 6 foot perhaps?
Remember in every place there is snake even in paradise just be vigilant & careful
they have a good answers they not generalized the whole country it depends where they living.
as long as they don't sleep on the street or to get drunk with men on the streets or walk alone in the dark places.. although in provinces mababait naman karamihang tao..
Porke't ba taga Manila masama na at hindi mabait. kaloka kayo. Millions ang tao d2 sa Manila. Iilan lng ang mga masama. Parang sinasabi nyo majority ng Manilenos masamang tao.
it depends on the place dont go tondo its not safe..
YES! BUT YOU MUST NOT GO ALONE...CHOOSE PEOPLE YOU CAN TRUST...DON'T GO NIGHT TIME ALONE...IF YOU WANT TO GO OUTSIDE DURING NIGHT, GO TOGETHER WITH TRUSTED PEOPLE...
How can they judge if it safe or not safe if they have not gone to other places other than bgc or makati????? Mind blown 🤯
Aside from the place mention most places like cebu city, specially davao city(as long as you dont commit a crime) is safe
I'm a Filipino, but I want to remind all the guest want to go to my country,to avoid missing your things etc, much better if you are in the Philippines don't used you're gadgets while you are in the bus ,or any kind of transportation, like example when the bus open windows because not all places is safe ,some people rob you're gadgets while you are in the ride.. please take care and be responsible for your own things ☺️☺️🇵🇭
its rare to see a catcalling here and as i Filipino im just woah when that girl from France says almost everyday she experienced it in her country.
It is dangerous especially at night time.
But it depends where you go? If you go to dangerous area like slums it is dangerous.
But if you go to BGC or high end area.
No problem. Just do not wear expensive jewelries.. Ride a grab taxi for your convenience..
We must have to be careful at all times
Thers a Russian village in Samal island Davao.
I think there is always rough places to avoid in EVERY COUNTRY. You can't be too careful lol
in masbate city where i originally came from,i often met women walking alone at night even 11 or 12 midnight.many single women tend also to sit alone even at 11 or 12 in the evening.
They're working 😂
Girl at the right in 5:32 looks like Foxy Di
We respect foreign national visiting our country because they will be our promoter to their home country.
♡♡♡ ALWAYS HAVE A FILIPINO COMPANION WHO CAN PROTECT YOU OR BACK YOU UP.
PEOPLE WILL LIKELY RESPECT OR IGNORE YOU IF YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE PART OF A POPULAR EVANGELICAL RELIGION OR GROUP. ♡♡♡
OA ka. Religious lng ba safe d2 sa Pinas.
I love the French and the Israeli girl and also the american❤🥰
Yes, i'm much amused seen talking with those 3 girls than the others😍😍😍
The French girl was my favorite.
in BGC AND MAKATI its safe.
Every city should have police visibility, especially in slums and deserted areas.
in Philippines police and security guards everywhere, that's why you never heard mass shooting in Philippines.
BGC is safe but not in poor regions
Ang lpit mo mg comment, hndi lhat na rgion ay mhirap
Uh depends on the location.
Any place in the world, you should be careful as always. Especially for women at night, alone.
@5:13 These Russian Girls were in my video too! They are currently modeling for car shows as they were in my latest 2023 INSIDE RACING BIKE show video..check it out!.....I interviewed them too! NOT TO PERSONABLE But thats how SLAVIC women are until they get to know you.
IG naman dyan haha
Philippines had some of most underated foods llike menudo mechado morcon paela lechon haminado pinakbet sisig imbutido sinigang pancit palabok buko pie and many more
I like lechon and sisig, I wonder why it is not as famous as Chinese food.
If the lady from Israel is safe….. My wife will never have a problem, any time of day.
BGC is part of Taguig City, not Makati.
ULTRA SAFE in most areas but not 100%
