    Bench press is compound exercise and chest fly is isolated one. There is no comparison. You can leave fly once but not presses.

    I find bench flies better than seated flies as it puts that max pressure. Also, Gaurav did mention in another video that workouts where we move against gravity work the best. What do you guys think?

    Sir press and fly me major difference hai ki....
    1)press( compund bilateral (with the barbell)movement and isolateral (with the dumbell) movement hai.....
    We can Also called it straight line movement
    2)machine fly or dumbell fly
    (It's circular movement or isolation movement for pectoralis muscles

    In bodybuilding size doesn’t matter symmetry, condition, proportion, definition and posing matters a lot. Best analogy is “lion is called King of Jungle not elephant” even though elephant is way bigger than lion.

    100% true..I workout at home & For chest Day i only do 9 sets of Chest fly ( Flat, Incline, Decline) with 15 kg dumbbells & it's very effective for overall development of the chest..

    Sorry dear I'm not agreed.....it all depends on practice.....on functional trainer ....cable give you extreme range of motion than ...... butterfly machine .........the video is extremely noisy......infact if you search on UA-cam professional bodybuilders prefers to perform chest by cable ........again it's all practice.......height adjustment of pully plays the main role

    So I regularly do the chest fly machine at 120 kg (265 lbs) now.
    I wanted to check out bench press today and found 60 kg (133lbs) to be already quite a load.
    Isn't that weird...
