Awesome brother! A def bucket lister for me.. How amazingly great is it how everything is still in tact?! Almost unheard of by today’s standard.
    Long live Hickory!

This was my third time here, and let me tell you, it’s magical walking into that gym! I was in Indiana last week tracking down all the locations for a Hoosiers movie locations video that I’ll be putting together. I found everything. It’ll be really extensive and inclusive. I need to do all the editing now, and you know how that goes. I hope to have it out in the next couple weeks. I did one years ago but only focused on a couple locations and looking back at it, it’s sort of crappy. I can do a much better job nowadays than I did back then, so I decided to do it all over again and to do it up right this time around, plus I found some unique things this time around. But for anyone who loves the movie Hoosiers, this is the stop to see. All the other locations are really cool, but this is definitely the highlight of the tour. That gym is 101 years old now and it is a fantastic place to visit! You gotta get there one day.

The state of Indiana has been good to me. Last spring I went out to South Bend to do the filming locations for “Rudy” and it was a very good trip. Last week I went back to Bloomington and did the locations for “Breaking Away” (posted that one last week). Funny enough, I ran into a fellow UA-camr who I subscribe to when I was in Bloomington. I was surprised to see no one had ever done “Breaking Away“ before I headed out there, and then literally as I was wrapping up one of my last locations in Bloomington, I turned around and saw him setting up. I always wondered if something like that would happen to me one day, and then sure enough, it did. Pretty cool. Have you ever come across anyone doing locations when you were out shooting them yourself?

It truly is. That gym is 101 years old, hosted one the greatest sports movie teams of all time, and draws people from all over the world to see it. This was my third time there and it still gives me goose bumps walking into it. It’s truly a remarkable little gymnasium for many reasons.

It’s just in a part of a song by Odesza that I used for this video.

It was a mashup from Live with Drones at Coachella in 2018. Here’s the link if you’re interested:
