This makes me realize how much we rely on electricity. My power was out, so.I didn't see how othe areas were impacted. Thank you for sharing this. I hope everyone is safe.
I live right around the corner. Very bad. Especially with the power out and the heat. Almost 5 days. The workers did a Fantastic job getting all of those poles and wires taken care of. You need to have a generator. I did not. Then if you did not have a generator , out with all of your food. I had just went shopping. Sad all of the way around. I do not think that anyone was hurt. Or killed by the grace of God.
Thanks for the coverage, Big Al. It's more than the Weather Channel has done. I'm sure they have enough resources to cover Hurricane Debby and these historic tornadoes.
If you get a much larger number of views...I took the liberty of posting it on most of the Parma related facebook pages Are you the Big Al or someone who just went to Love Canal.???
@@AlexanderSimic my son and his dad were on pearl at york when it passed behind them and hit that garage. There was tons of traffic and everyone I talked to was caught off guard. We are extremely fortunate. Thanks for posting.

Yeah the power just came back on today around 4am in my neighborhood which is a short walk away from this footage location. Some people were saying it would be a whole week till the power was back on, a whole army of linemen are here saving the day for us
This looks more of a micro burst of wind, tornado would have snapped trees on both sides of the street, homes would have severe damage, there's hardly any damage done I seen one house with a few shingles missing, a micro burst doesn't register high enough on the wind speed to be classified as a tornado.. Even though the news showed rotation in Parma... Does anybody know if the National Weather Service showed up and accessed any of the damage in greater Cleveland area, they were supposed to come today which is Friday...
NWS confirmed it was a tornado. We got lucky and it was only EF1 and moved pretty quickly through the area. East side of cuyahoga county had a macroburst
I'm thinking the same thing but they said this tornado touched down in Brookpark and tracked eastbound all the way to Bedford. I'm no expert but if you ask me this seems to be damage from 85 MPH winds not an EF1 with 105 MPH winds. NWS said max width was 350 yards. They're the experts.
@@George_Floyd69Yeah this has been the most active tornado season in Ohio State history. Thankfully most ones we get here are Weak EF0 or EF1 but occasionally there are Huge ones like Xenia, Niles & Dayton on MD2019 One came through the Twinsburg/Hudson/Stow/Cuyahoga Falls area north of Akron in August, 23 last year and even for EF-1 the damage was shocking to see. I can’t imagine how states like Texas, Oklahoma or the Bible Belt states deal with these EF3+ tornadoes that can wipe your entire town off the map
People still can’t comprehend when the lights out it’s a 4 way stop.
Thank you, Big Al. Great footage. Makes me sick to my stomach, though. That was Bad! My husband was also called by his friends,,,Big Al.
Thanks for the supportive comment, tell Big Al, Big Al said hi!

Yeah I live right by there, will post some shots of that soon
Im about 7 minutes from this street, good thing for us that we didnt get damage.
My house was right by here and luckily it was fine
Where's the tornado damage?
I see wind damage
You might be shocked to know that all tornadoes are is wind...Wind stirred up in different directions
I heard this area was a "Macro Burst". I live .5 miles from here and I just had high winds.
Who said there was a tornado?
@@godovermoney1124 The news (The local Newspaper article) confirmed this was the 2nd of 4 tornados that hit on Aug 6th. The biggest of the 4 as well
Is S Canterbery road ok? i used to live on that street
It is most likely good now, an army of lineman showed up and fixed up the town quick
Interesting that none of the scam speed camera got knocked out

Nice footage, but I moved from Parma 10 Years ago, Would have liked to see more of the area. 😇
Are you related to Paula tanner?
If they only would have used metal poles none of this would have happened
