i just know this would be one of the best feelings ever
I was looking for Baez practice video. Great work!
Nice video, so satisfying
hitting forehand, early preparation is quite impressive !
Baez's strokes are very compact
Very satisfying to watch
I think all shorties are, does it have anything to do with height?
@@abadedo shorter arms = less possible racquet movement maybe?
It also fits the more defensive game they often have to play - short strokes are easier to execute on the run.
This is actually really dangerous. The lines become so slippery. Once I sprained my ankle from playing
This hitting is very satisfying 😌
really pleasant shots
baez hits super hard
What strokes amazing
baez hit the ball like Rublev. crazy power
Good way to risk injury too.
Why? Clay is slippery, grass is. You just have to know the limit. It's not patchy or anything.
Standing far back works well, gives extra time.
Just reminds you of a Jimmy Connors classic forehand. Great angles
Viendo viendo a sebita baez entrenar
Rainstorm ?? Hardly !!!
LOL the scared lil kid at 3:35
Does Baez use a Western grip?
Whats Rune racket weight and swing weight?
Ka-POW!!!
Their 2 forehand look like Berdych's
"Fearhand", haha. That's clever.
Se ve con más potencial a él compañero de Páez!
I’m convinced these top 50 players today would destroy the greats of old
The sport is where it is now in part because of the greats of old. Each generation is supposed to build on the prior ones. Learn. Evolve. Sports science has most definitely improved massively, helping players reach greater athletic heights, have longer careers, recover better and so on. Tennis has also gone through a lot of equipment changes. Changes to surfaces. It's very unfair to put Borg with his wooden racket up against modern day players. Borg also only had those who came before him to build on. The sport itself same situation. Tennis since then has had so much extra to build on.
I don't think that takes anything away from the greats of the past. They were the best in their time, and if the top 50 now were all born back then they wouldn't take over the sport. But if the top 50 now went back into older gens...with their current equipment and teams and training and such, yes, they'd be the top 50 back then in most eras. Just not 00s or maybe 90s, as some great players around then that could compete well today. Like Agassi.
Who is he hitting against?
Hello 12kgp- Tennis! Could I use your pro players footage in my lesson videos?
bro just use it, TF are they gonna do?
When you didn't have a grass court to practice..
What grip has Baez? The racket seems to be lightweight than Rune's, am I right?
Bro what
3:35 lmao
not a rain storm
What racket is Baez playing with? VCore 95 or 98?
Apparently, it is 100. W/ Poly Tour Strike strings.
He plays with 2018 Vcore
100+
I guess the aero VS is getting an updated paintjob to match the new aero?
Definitely not
@@user-zf3ue4nr5g Then has Rune switched from aero VS to the regular aero?
@@jacklee533 they're all just marketing the new paintjob...
@@user-zf3ue4nr5g Well that's what I meant in the first comment. Looks like the aero VS is getting the new aero paintjob
@@jacklee533 yeah but only the vs of the pro's not the actual vs
weird that fans are so rooting for him to lose matches......
rip balls
Baez’s forehand looks like Rafa’s
the surface is absolutly dry
This isn’t x1.25 or something? Geez
I think because of the soaked wet balls and the wet courts, the balls were playing really slow, allowing them (especially Baez) to just swing out like crazy. It was fun to see in person. When the courts dried up (and they switched over to another court) and I think they also used new balls, it was more normal.
@@12kgpTennis Yeah, it must have been awesome to watch such big hitting up close.
Wet balls are definitely much heavier and should probably play slower like you say, but from my experience playing on wet courts under heavy rain, it always felt like balls skid after bounce and come to you at a quicker pace, not to mention with more weight, giving me less time to react. But I think the wet balls don't fly out as much so it's true that you make less errors even when hitting balls hard.
Baez is so hot
Drooling at that 🍑 🤤
if he grunted like rafa I wouldve thought it was rafa haha
This is the way humans dump as many as 300 or 400 million tennis balls each and every year. What a shame indeed ㆍㆍ
That's what I tell my 7 years old daughter: no matter what:weather, rain, heat or freezing cold, dry, sunny or cloudy, you have to play and take the most of your day. I'm not sure she got that, but at least I'm trying to transmit that kind of values in sport.
well if it’s heavy rain she shouldn’t be playing
yeah imagine slipping and spraining your ankle just to instill some dumb value in your kid
that's f'd up mentality
Saying this as a coach: DO NOT play in the rain. I've seen countless injuries that came from slipping on water. I have no clue why they're doing this here. An ankle sprain could cost a pro tens of thousands of potential prize money due to missing tournaments. What you are telling your daughter is incredibly foolish.
If you are so dedicated to her success in the sport, get her to an indoor court when it is raining.
I’m absolutely shocked that professional tennis players would practice in wet weather . There is no faster way to get tennis elbow than hitting wet heavy tennis balls.
hitting this clean, flawless contact point in front of the body... chances are slim af
@@patkluivert4110 Yeah nah. The additional weight of the ball puts a significant additional amount of strain on the lateral epicondyle at the moment of impact.
Yeah you’re a loser it’s just fun
A heavier ball sends a different hertz through the firearm which can load the arm negatively
i believe this is a myth
I’d prefer Holger’s forehand. Looks much more natural and nicer.
Which works out well for him, so he can yell at his mother and hit a clean forehand at the same time.
Def nit crushing the ball
Playing in the rain on a hard court is just plain dumb. You slip, sprain ankle and you lose tens of thousand of money prize $. Just amateurish.
