- Izotope RX 11 Repair Assistant Review and demo. You can get the RX11 Reapair Assistant with RX 11 more affordable RX 11 elements or the More Expensive RX 11 Standard or the Crazy expensive RX11 most people cant afford. RX11 Elements or RX 11 Repair Assistant is mazing for voice over, podcast, content creators, voice actors, dialogue or just anyone speaking into a microphone, its great at removing light background noise, mount noise and mouth clicks, it does pretty well at removing some reverb from the recording, the RX 11 DeEss is quite nice and the tone control is pretty cool the RX 11 De Clip seems to work well too.

Thanks, I'm glad you like the video, generally if I'm turning out in a voice acting gig this is the only thing I would put on it, a lot of the time they don't really want you to edit anything but I think they would appreciate receiving a recording without a bunch of mouth clicks that sounds nice and clean so this is about the only thing I would run on a actual voiceover recording, generally they want their phone engineers to do the editing, When it comes to my gaming channel I usually run this thing a compressor and a limiter and that's about it, if I hear any nasty resonating for Quincy's then I might use an EQ to find and cut that out really quick but generally This does most of the work I need
Just kind of run the compressor to make sure if I'm gaming and I start yelling or something it doesn't blow out my listeners eardrums and then I use a limiter to push myself up to the volume I want but I think less is more on editing most of the time,
You shouldn't have to do much to a recording except for a few basic things in my opinion but this is great for just cleaning up the sound of the recording. But even if I did have an affiliate link I would still be honest, reviews are supposed to help the viewer decide of something is worth their time so if you're not being honest that's a bad reviewer right there. Whenever I use it my voice loses a good bit of clarity and it sounds a bit more muffled. Am I doing something wrong?
There are several different settings on this, if you have a lot of reverb or if you have a lot of background noise that plug-in is going to have to work extremely hard to get rid of it well it's trying to figure out which parts your voice and which parts the one that stuff so sometimes if there's too much noise or too much reverb and you're really cranking those up it can possibly start the degrade the audio quality a bit, plugins like this are really design just to get rid of your computer fans in the background or that last little bit of reverb. And generally they will do a very good job when there's only a little bit but if you're trying to get rid of a lot of background noise and reverb that's where things might start to change a little bit, now on the RX-10 repair assistance it would destroy your audio so fast it wasn't even funny even if you had just a tiny bit of background noise it was probably better not to use the reaver remover or background remover at all of course if you have the Deesserr set too strong that'll make your voice sound messed up, if you're using DD clipper that can make your voice sound messed up if that set wrong, there's just a lot of things going on with this plugin and I don't know exactly how you have it set up but if you don't have like an extreme amount of background noise or a lot of reverb it should be able to do the job very well without really degrading the audio quality. Elsa don't know which digital to audio workstation you're using I guess there is a possibility it may not like your digital to audio workstation so if you happen to have more than one of those maybe try it on another one but it's kind of hard to troubleshoot stuff when you're not really there to see what's going on

@@airtime23 You're welcome, I hope you get it sounding the way you would like, I'm not sure if you purchased it or you just have the current demo but you might even want to contact the company and be like hey this is my problem I'm using it on this digital to audio workstation and see if they have anything to say. Generally if you're using other plugins along with this, I would say make sure this was the first plug-in, I haven't tried to use this as my last plugin but generally something like this would want to run before you start adding all the compression and EQ and everything else, I don't know if that could be any help or not but that's something I just thought of
Does it remove reverb from chambers or plates?
It's going to remove reverb in general, One of the hardest things for a plugin to do is remove reverb and keep your voice sounding natural and this one does a pretty good job at it, now let's just say you're recording has a ton of reverb I'm not sure how great your vocals going to sound, if you're recording in a room that's not super reverby and just has a little bit it's pretty darn good, if you recording your bathroom which is crazy reverbing it'll definitely get a lot of it out of there and make your vocal still sound pretty decent but if you just have way too much reverb going on I think any reverb removal app is going to struggle. You can get a free demo of this and super tone clear Elsa works really good and there's a free demo as that, those are probably two of the best ones I've ever used and waves have the clarity VX de reverb which is pretty decent as well, but if you're looking for something to remove reverb I would try and demo all three of those if possible and see which one works best for you

it depends on how heavy the reverb is as to how well it will do.. but yes it will do its best.. if you have a recording and someone added reverb to the vocal this will removed it, if the reverb is extremely heavy it will do its best, you can demo it for a few weeks for free and see if it gives you the results that you want. just sign up for a account.. get he demo and when the demo ends it wont charge you money, its not a demo you have to chancel it will just stop working and if you want it you can buy at at the point..
