This is beautifully done. But I have to say I especially enjoyed Scott's rich, full baritone. I always like him, but this was another aspect of his voice that doesn't get that much exposure.

As annoyed and frustrated as I was by a Grammy snub for The Lucky Ones album and Amazing Grace this year, if this doesn’t win a Grammy (or 10!) next year, the Grammys will cease to have any meaning to me. (You still need to watch Jolene, which they got their 3rd Grammy for. It was a collab with the treasure that is Dolly Parton).
I think they should start playing all the religious songs by pentatonic on loud speaker in the prisons. They send out a true message of love in every one. Maybe it could touch some prisoners that have a soul. They've touched everyone I've seen on the reactions. Maybe this world could be a better place.🙏🙏❤❤❤❤

"It has mad views already" Fun fact - this song has already racked up 4.4 million views in one month. Your facial expressions were priceless. This is a beautiful video. Beautiful rendition of this song - The Prayer. Giving a message of hope for us all. Pentatonix never disappoints. All five of them are masters of their craft - individually and collectively. For this song there was skillful and perfect placing of each member in the arrangement. You said it "Mitch can sing". A few people respond expecting that Mitch would do this well, but I am so glad that you said that "he picked it up a notch" because the mastery he displayed and his vocal control were superb. Mitch at the start and throughout owned this song with conviction, vocal clarity, the notes he hits and holds, his runs, his vibratos, his timing and his precision. I laughed when you said "Now what is Scott gonna do?" You'll see. Scott with his operatic presentation strong and convincing in linguistic detail. When all five of them appear on the screen I laughed even more then you paused and said "Are they about to kick start this....?" Then not just the superb vocals and audio but then the sun coming through in the video......I could almost see your goose bumps....then you said it...you got the tingles! Kirstie with her belting vibrato and power notes. Matt on the consistent bass undertone. Kevin on the strong and well-timed vocal percussion bringing them to the crescendo. The rich vocals, the tones, the call and response, the layering, the harmonizing, the wall of sound, building to the crescendo and then the clarity piercing through again with Mitch who then goes ethereal and then childlike. Superb performance by Pentatonix. A capella at its very best. They deserve a few Grammys for this. I used to watch this every day after it was posted. Then PTX performed this live on iHeart Radio and I started watching that version because to see them do it live is wonderful. I have also seen a few videos from the current tour and because I know the recorded version so well, I spotted that Mitch added in extra vibratos and runs when doing it live. She is 21 This year, and never had any vocal coaching. I always want to see her collaborate with Diana Ankudinova with her song writing and lyrical talent when it comes to English songs. For originals you can start with "Tears of Gold" Stripped Version. For covers (which she has a ton) I recommend "Blue" by Eiffel 65.

Kevin is so masterful in what he brings to the arrangement. Awesome. I imagine Kevin around 10 years old and one his friends says "Hey Kev ... can you rub your belly and tap your head at the same time?" Then the look on that friend's face when Kevin does a drum solo with his hands, chest, feet, tongue, teeth and any other body part he feels like. That would be a complete DROP THE MIC moment.
They do a cute little diddy cover of Kosmo Sheldrakes "Come Along" if you feel like getting "Mitch-slapped". When I first heard it, I didn't think the human voice could do that!
The original /most well known duet is by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocceli. It has also been covered by Josh Groban. Whatever, I would choose the PTX upgrade anytime
