This is honestly a great medium for telling dnd stories. It could be really worth your time to hook up with one of the streamers, and see if you could do a 'clip show' of their funny moments.
This was doubly fun for me to watch because, in my teens, I did this exact same kind of thing with my "Adventurers" Lego sets. Just more elaborate action scenes and no photography equipment.
first time iv seen one of your videos . the Lego was cool, you handled it better than most toy style animations i'v seen. i was more impressed by the concise but flamboyant narration. seriously impressed id much appreciate some more D&D stories from you
If you kept making videos like these, telling stories from real life or D&D, I can see you becoming big on youtube. I will subscribe, but I hope to see you update more frequently.
I really like to hear D n D stories because since I was 14 (about 16 years ago) none of my many geeky friends felt I was geeky enough for D n D (or at least that's what I assume given my track record), and I've really wanted to play. I even have a bag full of several sets of dice from playing MTG but none of my fellow geeks are willing to take me in. I also had (keyword, haven't seen those suckers in over a decade) several DnD books (player's handbook, monster manual, dungeon master's guide, and Oriental Adventures) when I had a lot of spare money in Middle School, but no dice (ha ha). I started asking in HS the people I knew who played never let me get in on a game, in my early '20's same story except a friend insisted she'd DM a game for me, and some other friends, but never got back to us. Recently I joined a club full of fellow bearded geeks in my area... same damn story except the dude was drunk at the time, so it was kind of forgiveable. DnD players in my experience are pretty cool people, but kinda stuck up in that they don't seem to want to let newbies in :'( So I compensate by hearing these stories knowing I will likely never partake :( So yeah, share all the DnD stories in whatever medium you want. For those of us who are shut outside.
We accept him, we accept him. One of us, one of us. Gooba-gobble, gooba-gobble. We accept him, we accept him. One of us, one of us. Gooba-gobble, gooba-gobble.
Love legos and D&D! You should create more. Consider recreating other shows like Saving Throws Barky's Brigade or Geek and Saundry's Critical role. You might find patreon or kickstarter as an avenue to underwrite your content. Best !
This is honestly super impressive, this is content I expect from a youtube channel of at least a few ten thousand subscribers. When I saw that not only was this your only video of this type, but you have such few views, subscribers, and no other channels... Honestly doing stuff like this isn't easy, but your story telling is so impressive, I think you really have the talent to get bigger in the nerd portion of youtube. If you ever wanted to, of course.
Michael DeFranco thanks for that. I do work full time and I recently had to move but I'm finally in production for episode two. Considering how much this video blew up recently I think I'm going to have to make more.
I will have you know, this is what inspired my first character. Very stupid half orc barbarian wielding a great-sword and hammer. Crazy strong and categorizes things by to traits, can he eat it or can he try to reproduce with it.
The use of Legos for storytelling almost always makes me excited and you succeed in keeping my attention. The only thing I found a problem with is that some cuts were a bit too quick? Maybe you've improved by now, so that problem might no even matter
I'd like to see more stories about D&D, I find them really entertaining, and they're always unique c:
Also, I can tell you put alot of effort into this video and I appreciate it.
Thanks!
I think that’s because you’re basically being read a book
Thats funny, because Dorf translates to village in German...
Makes sense. By the sound of his character description, he's as big as one.
Probably Ganondorf. :p
Minus the Ganon
Das macht ihn zum...
DORFTROTTEL
What an impressive story telling ability you have.
Hey thanks!
Perhaps a dungeon master you will some day make...
You'd think LEGO would make a D&D Mini fig set.
It would be cheaper and more charming than the big, detailed ones.
That would be actually amazing and get s huge amount of business.
They already did
This is honestly a great medium for telling dnd stories. It could be really worth your time to hook up with one of the streamers, and see if you could do a 'clip show' of their funny moments.
Awww... Dorf's heart was in the right place.
This was doubly fun for me to watch because, in my teens, I did this exact same kind of thing with my "Adventurers" Lego sets. Just more elaborate action scenes and no photography equipment.
loved it, it's great hearing these creative stories of other people's campaigns
You were the first person that made me like lego story telling. And through a dnd experience. Well done
That's it? I demand more!

first time iv seen one of your videos . the Lego was cool, you handled it better than most toy style animations i'v seen. i was more impressed by the concise but flamboyant narration. seriously impressed
id much appreciate some more D&D stories from you
Pretty much Grog from critical roll
Bidet

Let’s see a whole series of D&D stories!
If you kept making videos like these, telling stories from real life or D&D, I can see you becoming big on youtube. I will subscribe, but I hope to see you update more frequently.
I like how 3 of players of the group are practically edgy
Nice idea and interesting beginning of a story.
Mister K thanks man

Killed a Villiger and a bunch of Giant Rats XD . All in all a good start to a DnD campaign XD .
You got a sub, i need more dorf
Fun story, great video, you should definitely make more gaming videos. Very entertaining!
Love legos and D&D! You should create more. Consider recreating other shows like Saving Throws Barky's Brigade or Geek and Saundry's Critical role. You might find patreon or kickstarter as an avenue to underwrite your content. Best !

It’s awesome !
Very cool!
We must know more about are lord and savior Dorf.
Hot SpicyGrill I agree. Now that I've moved I can focus on getting a new episode made.
Wait it's over..... I want more Dorf.
Lego is holding an idea contest to make a dnd set
If you’re a half-orc fighter, you basically have to like smashing things, or even just a half-orc
Dorf on D&D? Like it.
I will have you know, this is what inspired my first character.
Very stupid half orc barbarian wielding a great-sword and hammer. Crazy strong and categorizes things by to traits, can he eat it or can he try to reproduce with it.
Gotta say, my first D&D character, a gruff gnomish barbarian? He'd like to hang with Dorf.
TheGamerDarius yeah Dorf is a bit slow and kinda silly. Here's definitely fun to play.
That sounds like every starting character really. But still, nice story.
Hmm a human Cleric/Ranger, A Human battlemage, an half-orc fighter and a what I believe was a dracomancer. Not completely standard. (This was 3.5)
Love it!
I really want D&D legos now...
I want MORE! 👍
I'm not a virgin anymore says the man making Lego stop motion films
(It's an art form I respect dearly)
i hope you enjoyed it, i love dnd
the first story time "animation", with Lego.
Dorf is going to be an NPC in every campaign I run now
Victor H go for it.
I must have more dorf!!
That was great
I loved it!
Me Rei. Me like Dorf. Want more Dorf. LITTLE MAN TAKE TOO LONG! WHERE IS DORF!?
Dog sized rats for Lvl 5 characters? That is hardly even a warm up exercise
Merrsharr to be fair there were a lot of them and also dire weasels. I didn't have the Lego figures for those.
and it's an easy way to bring characters together into a single adventuring party
GBNoobTown And who knows what realky happened behind that dm screen. Few levelups maxed hp rolls, stat upgrades and proficiencies.
We had them for one of my Lvl 1 campaigns with 7 of us and we all nearly died XD
This is epic
I liked the back story
this is genius
Hey Grimthang! Thanks!
Subbing for more D&D stories! I CRAVE DORF.
The use of Legos for storytelling almost always makes me excited and you succeed in keeping my attention. The only thing I found a problem with is that some cuts were a bit too quick? Maybe you've improved by now, so that problem might no even matter
I mean I've only made two of these.
@@GBNoobTown well...cool job.
My first character and session, I
my cleric convinced a group of orcish thieves to drop what they were doing and become charity workers instead!
Om Lo this is what I love about DnD.
I like how he has the Darth Vader head
Yuss! More legoooos
More Lego D&D stories!!!
dorf is stronger than he thinks xDDDDD
