As a German I really loved to see open minded Americans visiting my country. I hope your parents enjoy it and that they are not dissatisfied with the somehow straight forward German reactions.
My parents love Germany. I would tell my parents how different it was over here and beautiful. They didn’t understand until they got here and had seen it for themselves. Actually, everyone was incredibly nice and helpful with everything. They had a good experience.
Let me just tell you we really loved Germany. .So beautiful . We felt very welcomed . I can not say one thing bad about our visit other than we wish we had more time .
The hardest thing of travelling from the US to Germany is the jet lag. When I came back from Atlanta it took me 3 days to recover. The opposite direction is easier in my opinion
It was hard for me and Leo to adjust as well when we first got here. My parents switched over like champs. Im really surprised. I did have an itinerary so maybe thats why lol
We loved Germany but let me tell you ,holding my baby girl that we haven’t held in a year was the best part . Family is everything .love her so much #dadysgirl
well i have idea why is tastes different..because of Germanys very high food standarts/regulations even the american mcdonalds in germany gets controlled i think once every 2 months. american companys are allowed to put thinks in your food wich the german department of food would never allowe.
Germany was so beautiful. I was so surprised on how clean and neat .Everything looked The e people in the village were so nice to us . We really felt comfortable .
Bautzener Senf? OK, the total lack of culture isn't your fault. You're a Prussian, ok a Saxonian, but that's the same. The only true mustard is Händlmaier Senf form Regensburg. ;-) or depending where are you from one of the other hundreds of other local mustards.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but just so you know, picking apples directly from a tree is considered theft. You can pick up a small amount of windfall apples if you find some on the ground. Orchard owners are not happy with that either, but at least you won't get in trouble with the law. I hope you don't mind my slightly negative comment, no offense meant.
It actually did taste a bit different that day😔 and the schnitzel was different then normal. So maybe we came on a bad day. So I don’t think they got the full food experience. But I love that little park and the eatery🥰 I’ll have make sure I find the best spots that sure German dishes next time!
Ich hoffe, Du empfiehlst deinen Eltern auch mal deutsche Gerichte zu probieren und nicht hier in Deutschland weiter American Fastfood (Hamburger) Essen zu lassen.
Hi! Of course they tried some German dishes! When I’m Germany eat like the Germans😊 our favorite little restaurant just so happened to have some delicious burgers that night! We had a couple flammkuchens as well. So good!

You know parents are not allowed to leave the country without being interviewed about their impressions?
Right? They love it in Germany. They even said “ I understand why you like it so much over here.”

Currywurst is a nutritional disaster. She's right.
Ihr müsst hier an die Ostsee fahren das ist im Norden von Deutschland! 😁😁
You have to go to the Baltic sea, that's in the north of Germany

I spent four years in Hanau, Germany with the US Army. It was boring.
Really!? Did you get to travel!?
Nearly everything is wrong what you are doing with your parents, for example at the airport or when you are picking the apples.
Hmm, how so?? I’d love to know.
