did you fill out your no-fee passport online?? i’m having so much trouble filling it out i feel so dumb.. 😞 is it like filling out a regular passport?? did you put that you don’t have any kind of passport before getting a no-fee passport ? did you have a tourist passport before applying for a no-fee?

7:30 the problem in the US is in many cases no one sorts it and recycles it. They either take all the stuff and put it in landfills or they burn it. But that's kind of bad for the environment and wastes lots of materials that could be reused

3:30 german houses are properly isolated, so if you cool down your house over night by opening some windows (in the summer) then it will stay cold for the whole day even if it is hot outside. There is one exception to this tho, which is if you live directly under the roof then it can get pretty hot. And in some old houses without proper isolation it might get hot too.

The majority of german houses have those doors that look automatically but of course you are going to find many that don't lock automatically too :D

It's highly recommended to visit in September, when the huge flea market takes place at the city squares and parks in Bruges (it's once a year in September, haven't found the date for this year). It's awesome and the atmosphere is unique!

Shame you didn't go to Alken as well (just almost (well, quite a bit) opposite from Cochem), there's the only castle (Thurant Castle) with two towers and a wall between them, because way back, the two brothers owning the castle couldn't stand each other. Well worth checking out.
