I once thought I should feel bad that I never noticed the truth behind these people before the end, but I do like what someone said that if color wasn’t the first thing that came to mind about what was wrong with these people, then we’re far better than they’ll ever be.

I didn't know that this was Ncuti's first scene he shot. Hard hitting scene and he killed it as the doctor.
I never even picked up on the fact everyone was white! - This was insane to see explained.

NCUTI is so brilliant when he's a little darker and more conserved, it's like all those loses are coming back to him as a old time Lord, the youth departs the darker hopelessness returns.
Love to see him become colder over season 2 as Russel did with David's doctor towards his final season.

Jesse Deyi is the First incarnation of the Doctor to sign up with The Division. He most likely had many adventures.
Plus, Jesse Deyi gets to meet the Tardis when she is Brand New.
William Hartnell met the Tardis when she was outdated, old, and meant to be decommissioned.
All the Classic Who series talks about how he has an old Tardis. Jesse to Jo Martin had the Tardis when she was new.

you know a while before the series aired I read about that scene and that they said ncuti was made for this role on the ending and I just watched the episode today and I felt so bad for the Doctor and it clearly shows how right they are for that so I'm looking forward to see more in the future well done Ncuti Gatwa
yeah..what a shame to condemn an entire civilization at a glance. And then there's what Lindy did.

@@dwunleashed that's the trick: we saw Lindy and a couple of her friends be racist. we saw that lindy's "bubble" had nothing but white people in it. therefore we conclude that the AI was justified in killing off the entire civilization of two worlds, becasue obviously there were all white and privliged morons, so they all had to die. i've heard a lot of people commenting that even Ricky September was guilty of microagressios, so deep down he was just as racist as the other white people and thus ALSO deserved to die.. the entire episode was as racist towards white people as Lindy was towards blacks (though she never actually says that..just "not us". and nevermind that Lindy was an absurd caraicture of a person to the point of literally being mentally retarded. Part of me wonders if the doctor had bothered to look a little deeper, if he would have found out that ''Finetime" isn't a resort for rich kids...it's a freaking short bus camp.

Unfortunately I was put off by the people in the background. Such an emotional performance but there are people moving boxes like nothings going on. Really distracting.
You felt that way during the episode? I never really noticed them. They caught my attention here, though.
Was it the racism? I think it was just a treatment of a rich spoiled person to others who not in his level

She doesn't say "you two don't belong" or in any way indicate she's speaking to both of them. She specifically addresses the Doctor and even says "you, sir"
She said "You Sir", the Doctor is the reason why she couldn't go, not Ruby.
That's what I thought too until the other girl called the Tardis "voodoo", and then I realized that nope, they're straight up racists...
I mean things like saying "you will be disciplined" to the doctor and the whole end scene... kind ring a bell on racism
Black white green blue him shim it they them us, it's still crap. RTD has written some of the best stories, best villians but this version is awful. I've been watching for 50 years it's a real shame as are the viewing figures.
