*_I remember seeing this game as a kid on the Playstation 1 Demo Disc JAMPACK VOL.2 back in 1997.. and trying to play it..lol. Now that I am older, I truly understood the game now. How quickly time passes.._*
Same but honestly I was afraid of this game back then because I though my school would somehow integrate this games problem solving tech into our classes somehow. lol the lettersi.q in a game scared the hell out of me because I feared I wasn't smart enough to survive. Somehow I related this game to HS Math and expected HS to be similar to this game, where it's just problem solving 100% of the time, make it, pass or fail OR ELSE your homeless. Honestly looking back maybe it was that bad.....
Oh wow, I forgot about Armored Core. :p I wish I knew how to play that but I never got around to it like some people in my family did. :? There was also stuff like Armada for Dreamcast. :p
I played a demo of this waaaay back when on one of the PSX demo discs. It had no music, which made the game a bit eerie, making it feel much different. This sound track is ROCKIN'!
@@filevans Yes. Very true. PS1 had great games to choose from a wide variety of genres. Loved Ridge Racer Type 4, Rage Racer, Smash Court Tennis, Exhumed, Disruptor, Final Doom....... A wealth of great titles
Started with the Jam Pack, found it at video game store in charlotte and purchased it asap! Unfortunately traded this in for PlayStation 2’s: The Bouncer! And I still have that game in perfect condition.
Played the demo as a kid which had no music which I actually prefer. Not knocking the music but if makes it feel like a chill puzzle game. Without the music it feels like an abstract horror.. in a good way.
Also known as Kurushi in Europe and Australia. I love this game and it's soundtrack. So good. It was a great game and you knew very well when you effed up.
Interactive Volume 5 demo disk packaged with the PlayStation console in November 1997. It contains the following playable game demos: - Parappa the Rapper - Tomb Raider 2 - Armored Core - Cool Boarders 2 - Star Wars Masters of Teräs Käsi - NFL Gameday '98 - NHL Faceoff '98 - Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back - Intelligent Qube - Jet Moto 2 It contains the following game videos: - Gran Turismo - Gex: Enter the Gecko (titled 'Gex 2')
The music goes so hard towards the end and the credit music holy moly. I guess the demo didnt have music to save space, benefit of being a barebones puzzle game in terms of cd storage, can pack it with live recorded orchestral music.
Dude, I'd love for Vtubers to find a way to play this game over Q, whose name reminds me of this game a lot instead for some reason. :p Would be awesome. XD

We still have our Jampack demo disc! LOL! You're right, my sweet!
did it also have Tomb Raider, a snowboarding game and a Star Wars fighting game?
@@d12kiem7 Star Wars: Teras Kasi. I love it.
@@terminator6267 Arden Lyn!
Right there with ya brother
Used to play this as a kid. Very underrated game.
This is an underrated comment. I wish they would bring this game back.

Loved this one.
Also, everyone in this thread has a doctor's appt in the morning for chronic back pain
Same. Was very hard to find others that even had heard of it at the time.
Me to it was fun
The OST is surprisingly good. Was not expecting a game about cube puzzles to have an orchestral score
I remember playing this and armored core from the demo disc so many times, also the music is geniunely beautiful
Oh wow, I forgot about Armored Core. :p I wish I knew how to play that but I never got around to it like some people in my family did. :? There was also stuff like Armada for Dreamcast. :p
Raystorm too
Brings back memories of when I first played the demo. Nostalgia kicking in heavy, right now 🥲
One of my first PSX games. And it’s soundtrack: real orchestra and choir, one of the first to use them!

Fyi people, this is on the Playstation classic. More people should play this. It's a really fun puzzle game
Classic PS1 puzzle game. Kula Word is also worth a look
@@filevans I recommend Raystorm and Overboard! as well if you've never tried them

First time playing this was on a demo disc and I loved it as a kid back in the 90's
I love the voice in the tutorial! And the music, the audio and the aesthetics remind me of a Pixar movie for some reason.
I had this on a demo disc me and my bro would play this for hours
same!!!

Childhood memory unlocked. Used to go to my neighbor's to play but I don't think we ever made it past level 5.
This game got insane ratings across all the review magazines when it came out. I never played it.
The gong between stages still gives me goosebumps to this day. 20-something years later 😮

Perrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect!
I loved this game back in the day.
I only wish there were more like it then.
holy crap, when the John-Williams-esque soundtrack comes on 😮
This is the game Sony should bring back and put out on VR. It would be awesome in VR.
Sure would be. Oh and maybe jumping flash would be splendid on vr too
I spent so many hours with this game. I miss it!
1st few minutes into tutorial: Very simple. Should be easy
Last hour of the vid: WTF just happened??? *_*
The ending is bananas. I love it.
puuurrfect
didn't know if I was playing a game or installing some highly advanced artificial intelligence
Este juego era magnífico pero desde aquí comenzaron mis problemas de ansiedad 😂
Also known as Kurushi in Europe and Australia. I love this game and it's soundtrack. So good. It was a great game and you knew very well when you effed up.
I played this on the demo disc years ago
Man I really miss the old ps1 days
The "rules voice" at the beginning of the video... isn't it the same voice at Rogue Squadron series?
I remember this on a demo disc - it was very good but very difficult. - I remember it being called Kurushi however.
In the US, the game is called IQ.
For the rest of the world, it's Kurushi.
@@ShaunTheCHB Only in Europe. It's IQ in Japan (where it was made) too, sooooooooooooooooo.......................

I used to play the heck out of this on the PS1 demo disc. lol
Looking at the comment section, looks like I'm not alone. haha
I played the demo back in the 90s...
Another obscure PS1 game.
Finally, some good fucking food.
_I wonder if Christopher Nolan got his idea of Inception from this game._
oh yeah! kurushi!

PEEERFECT!
My dumb ass didnt understand this game back in the day lol
I love this game!! I played it so much as a kid, but I onlt had the demo disc that went to like level 10 or something.
I was 15 years old when I play this game it was very impressive

music is very nice but does not fit
its more original than having some thumpin techno i suppose
What a waste of a soundtrack.
