Very thorough and explanatory! Thank you!
Love this channel. New sub. Nice to see a normal guy doing this stuff and not a channel that looks too overly produced
Exactly! That’s what UA-cam used to be and it was so much better!
What a great video, full of good advice and presented wonderfully thank you.
🙌🏼🙌🏼
You helped me a lot
Thank you from Brazil!!
Awesome! Greetings from NJ, USA!
I love this channel. This is the content we want and need.
Thanks so much. I can't even begin to explain how much a comment like this means to me. (Please see the pinned comment on this video)
Definitely looking forward to more reviews on different printers, filament, very detailed and to the point. 💯
Finally a short, straight to the point on installing w/o an hour long lol! I was so confused with the 3 screws to remove. I didn’t see anything in mine (yellow arrow ones) I’m gon grab a flashlight lmao! But I’m almost close to finishing. Thanks for the great help sir. I’m a new sub & appreciate the time you put in to this. ❤
Those screws are a royal pain in the ass, but THEY ARE THERE. Now, get started on Learning Creality Print, and Orca
@@3DRundownI still can’t feel any of the 3 screws. I’m so confused on something this irritating lol
What did you use with the Allen key? I’m noticing it when taking a closer look. Or is that the top of the screw you took off?
Time Stamp?
There are no screws at your arrows?? Please send me pics however you can.

Love your videos, very informative and to the point.
Thanks so much. Love having you here. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
LOL leave it named Spender so if/when you get a K1 Max you can name it Big Spender 🤣
OMG!! I did leave it Spender but I never saw that epic connection! 😂😂😂 Hold on... I've gotta go rename a Printer
Im happy you finally got your hands on the k1🎉
A long painful wait, watching everyone play with the Launch shipments, without me. However, it's a better machine now, though I would have liked to be a park of the initial buzz, and tinkering.
Great video. keep up the good work mate !!! 👍👍
Thanks so much! Will do my best!
I just bought one of these for my son for Christmas. I have watched a few of these setup videos but no one has spoken about the software I need in order to use it. I assume I have to download something?
There is so much to learn if new to 3D Printing. You will need to learn how to use a slicer. There are a few options and it can be overwhelming at first.
For K1, install Creality Print (the machine came with it on your memory card), and, Orca Slicer or Bambu Studio. I recommend working mostly in Orca or Bambu. They are very similar, and both have a K1 profile. I have many videos here to teach you all of those options. Since orca and bambu are similar, you can watch videos for Both. HIGHLY reccomend learning with me on: 3DRUNDOWN.COM, and learning Bambu Studio: BAMBURUNDOWN.COM
Your setup is really nice, I'm calibrating it and I have decided to do all the calibration tests that come in the calibration tab in Creality Print, do you consider it necessary?
I do not. I am not a fan of most crazy calibration prints/tests. I don't trust them. If I run into a problem, I'll look at my options to identify it, otherwise, I'm passing go, and printing shiz
Very good, thanks for your answer!@@3DRundown
great review
but the plane leveling must be done every time the printer is turned on?
No. You dan choose to calibrate or not
Where do the 2 leftover screws go? The manual didn’t say. It also didn’t mention the blue clips but I knew where to put those but the screws have me stumped 🤔
They are likely extra, due to minor changes in the machine. For example, the new Extruder (with the white coupler ring) does NOT use the blue clips
It works fine without glue.
Good to hear.
Anyone know what the tape thing is for?
Lol. So many people have theories. Some think it's for the door to close more gently. I have no clue. Never used mine. Maybe it's time I ask Creality!
Great to see one out in the wild. I mean the printer, not you.
Got mine in yesterday and the glass was shattered
That sucks hard. Package Carriers have been absolutely trashing shit lately. I suspect Creality is going to revise how the door is made or packed, to try and avoid this. I've seen broken P1P also. Reach out to Creality. They will replace the door.
@@3DRundown yea I actually got mine through a place called rent one. I kept asking them every so often if they could do a special order so after 2 years they ordered me one but it took nearly 6 months before I got it
Hi, nice video, bravo. What is the noise level ? Thank you
Loud as heck! 😂😂 So loud I dubbed over one part because the fan was running and sounded like a plane engine
What a pity!!!! I was hoping it wouldn't make the noise like the P1P that I tried and was shocked. What a pity!!!! I was ready to buy it. These fast printers are not good for me at the moment because I don't have a dedicated room and I have to put it on the desk where I work. Thank you very much and congratulations for the videos, all very interesting.
The P1P has an annurism while printing, but it's not nearly as loud as the K1. The K1 sounds like a large PLANE. The P1P, sounds like a small plane. Lol. I DO thin you won't mind the P1P though. The K1, no...
Hola, tengo una pregunta. Cual impresora me recomiendan comprar? una K1, una P1S o una FLSUN V400
P1S
Now Creality bring out printers with true bed levelling. If only I’d waited for the K1 Max or the new one that’s come out in the last week or so.
ABL is done with a sensor, and the bed is trammed at the factory. But any other machine can be easily trammed and then ABL with a CR-Touch. This is certainly nice, so long as the tramming is done right at the factory and holds up over time
Seriously, why on earth wouldn’t they attach that door handle at the factory? That’s just ridiculous.
Indeed.
You should see what a printer build looked like 2 years ago...
Thanks for the detailed setup. The instructions provided never mention the glue. I tried the trick of feeding the hotend but it still gave me trouble
