I have the same vacuum. I love to see you doing this as well. Lets us know we are not alone and we see you are like us. Thanks for these. I am so glad I found you
I am incredibly grateful for your earth friendly, consistently motivating videos each week. I know doing all you do takes a lot of work Diane and I am grateful for every single one. Your company makes the unbearables completely bearable and doable. You should have millions of subscribers…….you are that good!
I’ve been using this playlist for the last couple of months and it has really been a blessing to me. My home has never looked better. Thank you, Diane!
Still love having this playlist. I just used it again tonight to help me clean. I love that you narrate things. It's like you're keeping me company the entire time.
It's so fun to have a friend in another country! Love hearing you talk and learning about another country and culture. So many things you talk about are exactly like my story, you are truly an inspiration to me! Thank you for the videos!
Got my Weekly Home Blessing done today (Saturday morning for me, as I work Mon-Fri full-time). I am learning to let go of perfectionism, thanks for your tips. Racing the timer helps a lot. I have also WRITTEN KEY WORDS in my control journal like “Quickly vacuum middle of high traffic areas” as I am such a tragic perfectionist and I needed to re-wire the way I thought. It is working!!
Thank you very much for teaching me about the babysteps, the routines, the weekly home blessing hour and bit by bit about zone cleaning. I find it helpful to hear you talk so friendly and optimistic about it all. Thank you very much from the Netherlands.
Dear Diane, I wanted to thank you for putting this video together. Just worked with you and it was so motivating to listen to your talk over . Just being reminded that we're not aiming for perfection!
I am a new sub, Diane, and think this technique of timing and zoning is so inspirational- I have occasionally motivated myself to do a chore by just mentally timing- Oh my goodness, I can get so much done in even 5 mins.! That wasn’t so bad! I am particularly intrigued about your window cleaning- I have so many windows, some antique glass, too, and can’t remember the last time I washed them! Thank you !! ☺️💕🏡
Unless you’ve made another like this, I thought this was perfect for weekly home blessings (I’m over a month in at this point.) It is so helpful to me to use the extra minutes for little jobs I see that o generally refuse to do… they take no time at all!
Dear Diane, I'm following you since three months and today I want to thank you for your great motivation. Keeping our house clean and tidy is such an easy thing since I follow your system! :-) Today in the morning I "heared" this video over my headphones an did my Weekly Home Blessing straight through. So our house is prepared for christmas and our guests. ;-) Merry Christmas to you and your family and sending you greetings from Germany!
This is a great way to see the step by step routine of the whole job. It shows me exactly what to do...one thing @ a time. I haven't got it down yet, but I'm almost there. Wohooo...this is exciting, actually powering through the tasks @ hand & be done. Wow we zowie!!! I'm fine tuning my routine & I can see the light @ the end of the tunnel!! This is going to work, people!!!
Thanks you... I did it... Your way is really better... As soon as I sweep the floor, I was ready to go... Thanks you... I’m sticking with this... Thanks... Finally... I DID IT... Mine is Monday 1st July, 2019... And this works...
The weekly home blessing is really a great idea... Still struggling with my daily routines... But I try to do something at least... everyday... But I’m putting you on and trying to do them...
This is great to see again...amazing how much you get done in such a short amount of time! You inspire me to get more done & to stop the “perfect model”...thanks so much, Diane.
Thank you so much Diane! I’m having a hard time at the moment and my house in Scotland was starting to get to me ... one hour of us ‘working together “ and everything is spick and span! 💕
Thanks so much for posting these videos. They've been so helpful and inspirational! Also, condensing playlists into one video was a fantastic idea. You have a lovely home. Thanks for sharing!
I just came across your videos in the past few days. I very much appreciate your positive spirit and motivational kindness. Hello 👋 from West Virginia, USA!
Great fun to follow along. Got so much done! Hope you are enjoying your Monday! It's now 11 a.m. here in Michigan so I'm assuming it's about 5pm there?? I got a later start today but nice to have this video for motivation!
Thank you very much. I can't believe how much alike I think our personalities are. I'm so thankful you're the one making the videos. Been married for a long time and today my husband said "WOW" referring to my housekeeping. First time I heard that from him. I don't know what it is, but I listen to your videos whilst I'm cleaning and I don't get tired our feel like I'm doing too much and sit down to do other things... I'm really motivated!!! THAT FEELS GOOD. THANKS!!
Great points and observations Mya. I like the fact that I don’t have to watch the videos, Diane’s voice and the conversations makes it feel like she’s having a talk with you, personally. Because I’m not tied to a seat watching, I can get on with my tasks.
I an ready to get back into the routine of zone cleaning. I was away from home for 3 weeks in August, and on my last week away, I sprained my ankle so I have not been able to do much since I have ben home. I have gotten back into the morning and evening routines, but just doing minimal on the zones, just enough to keep it presentable (vacuum and picked up. Dishes, laundry, bathroom, and making bed I have got back into. And meal planning (all done for Sept and make grocery list every week) and making the meals also. Love the videos.
This was wonderful! I love your videos! This was a lot of fun to work along with you, getting the weekly home blessing done! Thank you for all that you do!
Hi FlyLady Diane! I have done my weekly home blessing using your playlist here and I love your company, inspiration and motivation. Thank you so much!!! I've also been doing your 31 Baby Step videos... I am loving doing this with you. THANK YOU!!!
WHB done! Thanks for the extra motivation! I have to tell you- I have the Changing Sheets video in my WHB playlist because even though I've had my duvet since January, I STILL forget how to put it on all inside-out and have to rewatch your video! So now it's just in there! Lol! Thanks for the compilation! Made the hour fly by!
When your wrote "playlist" I got all excited that I was going to hear some of your favorite electronic bands to clean by. Would love you to create a "Spotify" or "Pandora" cleaning playlist to continue my cultural exchange cross continents! If you do one, I'll do one. Mine would be very south Louisiana USA. Think jazz, blues, & zydeco.
Elizabeth-are you from south Louisiana because your favorite music is exactly like mine. Jazz, blues, and Zydeco. Zydeco is great while cleaning because it's music you can barely sit down while it's playing. Lol
I think I'm really ready to just start. I've been working on decluttering and although it isn't perfect, it is manageable. Haha! My husband likes the way minimalism looks but he also keeps almost everything. Lol!! You are calm which helps me feel less daunted by the to-do list. I'll just use my head. I'm writing out my zones. I know it may change but I need to start somewhere. I'm going to start the Monday blessing hour as best as I can this coming week. We have to begin at the beginning. One foot in front of the other...
Cleaning my kitchen this morning while listening and watching. This would have been so helpful when my son was little... when it was so hard to get a large block of time to clean.
Thanks for the update on WHB. I'm a payroll FB, so I often feel I don't have time. 😢. But this will motivate me again. I've forgotten, when do we vacuum bedrooms? ❤️
Hi Linda! Nice to see you again! Master bedroom is zone 4, other bedrooms are zone 3. But if your bedroom is a 'heavy duty' area, you might want to do a short vacuum once a week during Weekly Home Blessing. (Our bedrooms are upstairs and we don't wear shoes inside, so we vacuum when we are in the zone.)
Thanks for this! I hadn't thought to customize my own - I put it together yesterday so I don't have to flip around to "my" order. Such a simple thing that I know is going to make a big difference :)
Diane, love your videos, your home, and your clothes! Oh, yes, love your husband too, but don’t worry, I have a sweetie of my own, and I am way over here in USA! Lol!😂
Hi Sarah! I've done several Weekly Home Blessing Hour videos since! 🖐😀 You can find some of them here ua-cam.com/play/PLxIYCyTLBED9z6PKxuWBFoCbiq6jw_j-A.html and other useful tips on my Flylady Refresher Course series ua-cam.com/video/04TepMhwvBI/v-deo.html
I’m watching videos on cleaning routines while bedridden by the after effects of acute pancreatitis. I know I’m supposed to start with the baby steps, but there is a limit as to how many videos I can watch on that topic before I want to move on 😂 I’m watching you clean your windows, and I’m wondering what you would recommend for someone with a “slight” plant obsession? I could probably empty out my kitchen window in a couple of minutes, but my window in the living room has 10-20 plants, and it would take me close to 5 to get them all moved so I could clean the window. Would you move the window cleaning into the zone cleaning, move the plants before starting or something else entirely?
Hi Siri, do whatever works for you! Maybe keep it for Zone work. But you don't need to clean the whole window...just clean the bits of the window you can reach without moving the plants. Doesn't have to be perfect 🖐😀
That clock!!! Trying to quickly read through the comments to see if someone already asked about it but i'm shocked to not see any. Can i ask where it is from or what brand it is?
Yes, Suzi!!! We are on Instagram... Use the hashtag #dianeindenmark when you post a picture/video, so we can find you. It's fun to see what everyone else is doing - great inspiration! You can follow me here instagram.com/dianeindenmark/
Love your motivating videos Diane - Good idea to mop at the end to not walk on it too much, will start doing that - I used to mop after vacuuming. My mum taught me to dust before vacuuming though, as you may cause some to fall on your clean floor - guess with your feather duster your ok - but I dust before vacuuming.
Dear Diane! Just one question. Our house has 3 floors. Vacuuming during Home Blessing I would only do on ground floor? Or would I vacuum the wasy up on the two upper floors? Our bedroom is on top floor, kids rooms, office and master bathroom on upper floor. What do you think? Thanks!!
Hi Gaby, it depends on which rooms you use/mess up the most. For example, I don't vacuum our bedroom each week because it's on the first floor/we don't use inside shoes/we only sleep in there. But I always vacuum the upstairs bathroom (hair on the floor from me/DD15). The WHB is a one hour clean of the *main* rooms which you use. You can, of course, spend more time vacuuming if you want to!
Dear Diane I like to come back to this playlist sometimes. Thank you! But I notice how much more energy and joy you have now, even though you were great then. Way to go! During WHBH you do the window insides by zone. When do you do the outsides? They are much dirtier than the insides. Sending you a triple rah back! Patty 😊
At our cabin in Sweden, I do them about three times a year. Here at our main house we have a window cleaner (common thing here in Europe) and he does them once every three months at a very reasonable price. (He has special equipment/extra long pipes, etc so it's a quick job. We have a three storey house, so many of our windows are not easily accessible for us and it's a dangerous job.)
Yes, we move zones every week for detail cleaning/decluttering. But the WHB is always the same...a quick clean of the 'main' areas of your house...not the whole house! LOL
You didn't keep me on task! I needed to be reminded what I was supposed to be doing often and listening to you it seemed you were talking about lots of things and I had no idea , I never knew what I was supposed to be doing. You just need to keep mentioning were on floors or whatever. To much extraneous talk

2022 and still using this! I'm getting this done on a Sunday night to get the week started right because it's just too much on Monday with work!
Still love having this playlist. I just used it again tonight to help me clean. I love that you narrate things. It's like you're keeping me company the entire time.

This was a great help to explain/show how this is done👍😃. Very helpful. It never fails, someone always shows up to walk on freshly mopped floors🤣😂
Did my WHB with you again! Have a blessed Christmas season Diane.

It was bought in a sale (it's a kids clock) many years ago, sorry don't know the brand!
Yes. Rest at the end. That's The element I tend to forget.
Do you only put the water on the step during warmer weather?
Diane, is there a way that we can post photos or videos back to you, so you can see what a great influence you have been for all of us?
Yes, Suzi!!! We are on Instagram... Use the hashtag #dianeindenmark when you post a picture/video, so we can find you. It's fun to see what everyone else is doing - great inspiration! You can follow me here instagram.com/dianeindenmark/
Diane in Denmark .Thanks! I will give that a try today!
OMF!! I have like 30 playlists on different topics.
If you use them to work by, Michelle, then that is great. If you are using them to procrastinate...? LOL
Always motivating 🙆
So you don't dust bedrooms in your WHB hour, is it done when in your zones.
Hi Joann! Yes, unless your bedroom is a heavy duty area - then you might want to dust it during WHB Hour. The choice is yours!
Your rabbit clock! 🐰👀 🤣
✨
What is the difference between the purple and silver rags?
Hi Sara - no difference at all, just the colour!
Love your motivating videos Diane - Good idea to mop at the end to not walk on it too much, will start doing that - I used to mop after vacuuming. Dear Diane I like to come back to this playlist sometimes. Thank you! But I notice how much more energy and joy you have now, even though you were great then. Way to go! This is still a wonderful walk through on those days when you need a kick in the pants.
Have we moved to a different zone?
Zone 4, the bedroom, comes up now.
Yes, we move zones every week for detail cleaning/decluttering. But the WHB is always the same...a quick clean of the 'main' areas of your house...not the whole house! LOL
I notice you have no rugs. So much easier to not have dust....

You didn't keep me on task! I needed to be reminded what I was supposed to be doing often and listening to you it seemed you were talking about lots of things and I had no idea , I never knew what I was supposed to be doing.
