Hi Diane: here I am in Wyoming about a year later after you made a set decluttering videos. I did clean out the 2 very small drawers in vanity in my hall bath- really pitched " stuff"...yea! Tonite will fold laundry in basket in our room / put away &fold wash cloths to go in top skinny drawer of wall cabinet in my hall bath. Rah rah!!

I went for the medicine drawer and was shocked how many things were expired, so I rinsed out all plastic bottles for recycling and buffed up the tub and hardware....led to decluttering my jewelry which will get posted to my Buy Nothing group! Thank you for inspiring me!
Just shined my sink for the first time after having piles of constant dishes for 3 months. Made a 20 day challenge with a friend for motivation. I even made a sticker chart to track myself like a 5 year old. 😆
I know I've listened to quite a few of these multiple times. I'm heading to my dad's assisted living tonight to move some things out, but I am going to set a timer and vacuum upstairs/bedroom. I often listen as I'm driving!!! So it is in my head all the time, but then I'm not commenting. Much to think of and do for my elderly dad. Thankful he's my dad, but when I get overwhelmed, it's nice to focus on 10 min of vacuuming and finding one thing to get rid of!
April has been a good declutter month so far- lots of little niggling hidden things since the big visible things have been gone for awhile. You’ve been a big help in keeping my motivation up Diane.
Yay, go you, Driftwoodlover! I also find it satisfying to see those tiny things going...much less "fluff and stuff" in the corners of drawers, etc! Ha ha!

Fly Lady - now there’s a blast from my past - she was such a great source of information- her emails where always full of encouragement and guidance- purple puddles 💕😊- still use her purple rags 👍- I just found a rhythm for my home that worked with her help - but I’m still decluttering - moved 3 x since - still more to go - you’re very enthusiastic and I’ll be coming back to be inspired- in February I did my own ‘decluttering an item every day - the first 5 days I used the rule for every room - 438 items lighter and I’m still letting go - I’m a crafter so this makes for some extra decisions 🤔lol thank you

Think I will try one item a day starting April 1.
I did so well with the February Daily Declutter Challenge and found it to be really fun so thank you for the daily videos as they kept me motivated. I kept it up for March and now it's mid April it's slowing down a bit but find it easier to remove items I no long use. I love the tip of shop your house, I've been trying it out and find that I also declutter more lol! So helpful to understand that we don't need more containers, hangers, drawers etc., it's more of we need less stuff. I had a bad habit of always buying in pairs 😀I've been using the Flylady system for 6 months and what a difference for our home. The best part is no more Spring cleaning for hours because the cleaning by zone is a game changer. Enjoying the warmer weather knowing we don't have these huge time consuming chores anymore!

Decluttered sweaters from the bedroom, empty shampoo bottles from the bathroom, books and movies from the living room, and canned goods from the kitchen.
I have to clear out all the bedrooms because the floors are being tiled. It's a great time to determine if all that stuff should go back in.

I find the swap idea interesting. I think Canadians are too cheap for that though: they want money for their "treasures" (and tend to overprice them).

I have to start over from this beginning. Oh the legos!! We have two boxes the size you have. I had three Lego maniacs.. they are still all here, all three kids are gone on to their own homes.. but one, he is our autistic one. He still does lego fun!!
